      My onstar features weren't working for two months and they couldn't figure it out so I canceled. They wouldn't even give me a refund for the time it didn't work. Offered me $9.00... terrible company.

      Terrible can't be trusted. Called in and canceled service for previous vehicle. Then canceled before the trial ended on my new vehicle. They are dishonest they never cancel your account they keep your card info on file and continue to attempt to charge you. This time they charge me I called them andi ts a hassle they claimed they cancelled emy amount and will refund my money but that hasn't happened. You literally have to file a dispute with your bank to get your money back. I WILL NEVER RECCOMMEND THEM.

      Absolute crooks!!!! They add a "Free Trial" to your car purchase only to STEAL your money by literally using the direct deposit information from your car loan to pull money directly from your account with NO NOTICE, no emails, no calls and no invoices. I never used your service even one time in any way. This is absolute theft and this company shouldn't be in business. You owe me over $500!

      Worst customer service ever. I have called them over 15 times about a message that keeps playing in my vehicle every time I start it to go somewhere. I am not a member of their service and it still plays! They have me reset it every time and nothing works! I am a very busy man and have to take time from my busy day to call them and be put on hold while they try and resolve it! However they never do! The message I get says, your vehicle is connected to onstar to limited services.. again I have no account with them!

      I had on onstar for 7 yrs. The service was great until I tried to get out of my service! I only actually canceled because of the change in services offered on my ***** cruze. I officially canceled in November 2022, which was to start Jan. 1st. Now they charged by debit card in Jan. I called they refunded the money said it wouldn't happen again. Fast forward to March 15th- not one but two payments were taken out of my account for $15 each. I called onstar and they refunded me one of the 2 charges. I called them back and they said I was wrong it was just one charge. The lady preceded to tell me I needed to send proof of the charges. I called my bank and they could clearly see the duplicate charge! I reported it as fraud. I am looking to buy a brand new car( I was going to buy a brand new Malibu) but now I am hesitant to buy any vehicle associated with onstar!!

      I was attemtping to cancel my wifi service in my 2020 Silverado **** HD. I went online first only to find out that you can't cancel online. I called the number I was directed to and there is no cancellation option so I called back and spent 20+ minutes on hold, maybe it was 30 minutes, then got disconnected. I went into my 2022 XT6 and pressed the OnStar button only to find out there is no cancellation option there either - you can choose from renew and purchase. Once I was connected, the operator had to transfer me to "another department". I waited on hold for at least 20 minutes and then OnStar dropped the in car call. I then pressed the blue button again, only to go through the same process again. This time after 10 minutes on hold I was connected wtih a specialist who was somewhat helpful but asked several questions - what is your pin, are you the owner, you're not calling about the vehicle you're in?, why do you want to cancel the service. I was so frustrated at this point, I wanted to say because of exactly what I've been going through for 2 days trying to cancel a service that should take 30 seconds online but the truth is that and I don't use the wifi so I don't want to pay for something I don't use. This is seriously one of the most frustrating things I've went through in years. OnStar - check my history, I've owned at least 15 ** vehicles in the last 8 years, possibly more. The way you treated me makes me want to choose another car manufacturer - I love the ** products but your service will singe handedly encourage me to shop Benz and *** products.

      I would give OnStar 0 stars if it were possible. My 2023 ***** Bolt EUV comes with 3 years of remote access via OnStar services. However OnStar refused to look into it. I offered to show them the 2 different descriptions on *****'s website that said 3 year service but all support people refused. I was told a case was opened, but when I called back they told me there were no such notes. OnStar blames the dealership, the dealership says they don't activate subscriptions on any vehicle sold (which I believe), the dealership says it's a breakdown between OnStar and *****. ***** blames OnStar but no one has fixed my subscription and the remote access is really the selling point of this car. I have invested over 5hrs of phone calls with no real help from OnStar.

      They do not allow you to cancel their services online forcing you to call their helpline where you are forced to wait on hold as you attempt to cancel. the person never said goodbye just hung up if you want to know why they have a f rating just try to cancel

      Engages in blatant fraud. I purchased a car through a dealership with ************************** which came with a 3-month trial of Onstar. They informed me that to continue Onstar (which I never used even once and don't care about), I would have to actually enroll in further services, not opt out to avoid being charged. I was charged in both December 2022 and January 2023 at $39.99/month (attached below). I would have chalked this up to an information mistake by ******************, however, ****Onstar directly texted me in October to let me know that my plan was ending. I received another text from them saying I unenrolled from receiving notifications, which I did not do.***** I thought it was odd but didn't think anything of it until I saw the unauthorized charges, then I realized that was their intentional strategy to avoid notifying me that they took the liberty of extending my plan and fraudulently charged me. I spoke to the billing department over the phone, after extensive back-and-forth, they FINALLY agreed to refund me. Now I noticed they only refunded me for 1 charge, not the December one. I am extremely frustrated with their service and their very blatant fraudulent practices to deceive people from receiving notifications and keep charging them.

      Absolutely horrendous service. They tell you they will call to get authorization before they start charging you, and the dont ever say a word until you notice charges later on. When you call to dispute the charges, they tell you that you "used" data because your wifi automatically connects (forget the horrendous service of their wifi) and they refuse to refund you any money. I am a GM dealer and I would never recommend Onstar to anyone. Worked with Toyota, Chrysler, Hyundai, Nissan and by far Onstar and GM are the worst to deal with.
