      I purchased a recliner in April. The reclining mechanism is defective. The service technician came out and described why the sofa wasnt reclining properly but did not repair. I called customer service and was advised that the technician decision is final and to call back 30 days. Thats unacceptable. This is a vacation property and weve sat on the couch no more than 5 times. Their furniture isnt quality. We paid ***** for junk. We were strongly recommended to purchase the protection plan, just to find out thats junk too! Please look into how sales representatives are incentivized to sell the protection plans and how the company will not honor claims.

      Gardner White Furniture has taken advantage of my 78 year old parents. The company did not deliver the mattress my parents purchased and they refuse to take it back despite the "money back guarantee" They went back to the **************** ******, Mi and they offered them a TV tray for their troubles. They just want to return the mattress and get their money back after all the hassle the staff put them through. They were told to try it for 60 days and then come back after they "break-in" the mattress. They will have to wait 60 days and there is a 10% restocking fee and $199 processing fee. The hidden cost for an exchange is $400 more, in addition to what they paid. I was extremely disappointed in the way company is treating my retired/older parents. They are being taken advantage of because of their age and trusting nature. I think other people would be able to learn from this unfortunate experience and their story, including these deceptive business practices. Other should know and this should be shared.

      Received defective piece of furniture and company would not take it back without charging 25% restocking fee. The defect was discovered after the delivery men left (within 24 hours). After a lot of phone calls (including no response from corporate office), they agreed to reduce the charge to 20%. The furniture was picked up and a few days later I received a credit on my credit card for 25% not 20% as agreed (delivery receipt and an email from the company confirmed that the credit should have been 20%). Again, I left a few messages and texted a copy of the delivery receipt showing the reduced amount (no email allowed). No revisions to my credit have been processed. They are criminals. RUN, do NOT buy anything from this company!!!!!

      I bought a leather loveseat and matching couch, a set, the love seat had a cut on the back panel. The warranty department sent out a service man and the replacement leather wasnt even the same color. They would only give me a in store credit for the loveseat. GW no longer has my set that I bought together. They would not give me a in store credit for the larger couch. So I would have two different types/kind of furniture. Now does that seem fair. Their warranty department and GW does not stand by what they promise or advertise. I will never ever buy anything from them again.

      I bought a ****** and ****** mattress, within 8mo. it was sagging. Gardner white did replace the mattress. The mattress I picked was $100.00 less than what I paid, I asked them for the money back they said they don't return money. My complaint is this I want the $100 back plus they owe me sales tax as well.

      Deceptive advertising practices are rampant with **. The advertised mattress "guarantee" is not really a guarantee at all, since what the consumer is doing is actually paying exorbitant fees for the privilege of getting a "reselection" mattress. Below, in brackets, is the advertised so-called "guarantee", in the ** president's own words: [Gardner White Pledge. 6 month sleep guarantee - love your new mattress or pick out a new one. "There's no risk of choosing the wrong mattress, just the Pledge of a great night's sleep. One more reason Gardner White is ********* number one mattress store." ***************************, President of Gardner White.]This is deceptive in that it fails to inform the consumer that this "guarantee" is actually a purchased plan that comes with terms/fees that will often have you paying at least 50% more for a return than the original cost of your mattress. I figured out that to purchase a "guarantee", I would be spending anywhere from $400 up to replace an $800 (sale price) mattress, due to buying a required mattress cover, and paying a $199 "processing" fee, plus a 10% "handling" fee (What? Aren't processing and handling basically the same thing??). And they don't say if the 10% is figured on the original cost of your first mattress, the "sale" cost of the first mattress, or the cost of the new mattress...which, BTW, must be equal to or greater than the cost of the first mattress! Naturally, after I crunched all the possible numbers, I declined this ridiculous "guarantee"."No risk"?? I think not. Most consumers would agree that spending a considerable amount over and above an original purchase price would definitely constitute "risk".I am reporting this deception to the state ************************** Another related issue: they use the same process to determine a defect in a 2 week old mattress that they would use for a 10-year old mattress. That makes no sense whatsoever. THAT issue I will be taking to small claims court, seeking a refund.

      They will not honor their mattress guarantee i'm out of thousand dollars. They are telling me now because I did not purchase the mattress. Protector from them. Never telling me that if I don't I will not get a warranty.

      I just had a matress and coil spring installed and the crew did a great job. They let me vacumn the under bed area while they took out the old stuff and helped put the matress cover on. This was the crew out of the **** store in ********.

      Just do not buy anything from Gardner White. Save time, money and your nervous system. It seesm that their revenue consists mainly of restocking fees. I can't imaging retaining what they delivered to me in my house.

      i will be ************************ the middle of December of 2023 i bought a bedroom set and mattress from Gardner White first while i was sleeping during the night the bed broke and i ended up on the floor called them had to wait several days for a repair perso to come look at it and than several more days for them to get the part needed to fix it so several day i had to sleep on my couch than the mattress i got was sinking in very bad could not sleep on it back on the couch called once again had to wait several days for someone to come look at it to say it was defective service guy said it was so went to the store the next day the one i liked they said they could not get picked out another one which was to come with a free tv i was told i do not get the tv because it was a exchange which does not matter iam still paying for the mattress than they told me it would come that night because it was same day delivery took night off from my work waited till 7pm called the delivery department they said they had no record of it to be on the truck for that day and told me to call the service desk they told me there was dirt on it so they did not put it on the truck which new mattress come wrapped i plastic to keep it safe from bugs no one called to say it was not coming because it was never even put on the truck i got 2different stories anther night on the couch i will never do business with them again and i will let everyone i know not to go there . i wish Art *** was still around never had no problems buying from them or with there products very disappointed
