      bought a special order Big man chair they sent me what felt like a floor model i was to wait 4 weeks for the big man then when the delivery guys got here they checked and it was the very same chair so i gave them 2 more chances and then they took back the chair and never gave me my refund and refused to take **** the couch because they said it was at my house to long well guess what so was the chair!! now I have filed a lawsuit and will not let this stand for every 1 of me that don't put up with them 9 will turn the other cheek NOT THIS TIME! DO NOT SHOP AT THE *************** STORE as soon as you order something and a chair is involved they revamp the chairs so your confused they will claim they needed a change sorry I worked in this industry and I know the games all to well and have a JEWISH LAWYER :) SEE YOU SOON GARDNER WHITE!

      Horrible experience @GW, they do not care to respond if you are not satisfied with the purchase after you walk out of the store. Only thing they are interested in is re-stocking fees. Never had so bad customer service in my recent past.

      My first concern is that their taking advantage of the elderly. The company called Ellite Rewards which is affiliated with Gardner White, makes it very difficult to use the free 3 $100.00 dollars gift cards. Here's how it works:#1 You don't automatically get notifications that the cards are being sent to you. Some of the elderly probably forget to call GW to remind them. No #2 Once you receive Ellite Phone No. and call, you'll find that they never answer calls. Their auto message is, call during regular business hours. No #3 Once you finally receive notice of your card #, you find out out complicated it is and decide to not use them. The elderly would never be able to figure out what the steps are required in using the card.I 'm not using mine, I don't want nothing to do with Ellite or Gardner White.

      I would like people to be aware of promises made that are not kept. In my experience delivery was set told items were in stock. Time of delivery brought wrong item. Then was told I have to wait till they get more. And that I was 3rd in their list. Now not sure how it could have been delivered if Im third in the list but told it was in stock. I was given the run around after speaking with corporate and management. Then policies are set up to make them money no matter what. ******** care is not.

      Terrible curtained service. Absolute scam of a business. We ordered a couch that was delivered filthy. They then brought back a piece that didnt even match our sectional. I e ultimately decided to return the item because there were so many issues. In doing so, we tried to just exchange but they require a large chunk of money to be taken out so we returned the item. The warranty that was never used on our couch that we returned was never refunded. I dont know how this makes since. They so wouldnt allow us to transfer the unused 3 day old warranty to a new piece of furniture either. Needless to say, we returned the item, counted it as a loss and RAN far away from this company. I highly recommend NOT PURCHASING FROM THEM.

      I purchased a mattress that cost me over $3000! It was supposed to be firm, but my back is still hurting. I called and spoke with the manager and he shared that I must keep for 60 days and then I can return it with a $500+ restocking fee and then I can make another selection. It was NEVER TOLD THAT THERE IS A 60 DAY WAITING PERIOD, which is vital information that was disclosed to me until AFTER I called to complain about the mattress. Now, whether I return it or not, I'm STUCK WITH PAYING over $3000 for a mattress that is uncomfortable. Just like the salesperson did his best to convince me to buy, he should have been diligent with informing ME of the return policy MORE CLEARLY THAT HE DID! And, don't freaking tell me to scan the ** code. Odd that I didn't have to scan a ** code to purchase the mattress. I will not give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Yes, this is certainly predatory!

      Absolutely the worst customer service, this ********************** boarder line scammed me. Recently my wife and I purchased a brand-new mattress and bed system from Gardner-White. Vital information was not disclosed to us until after our delivery, and basically, we now have a headboard that does not attach to our bed system that cannot be returned, and to solve this I was advised to purchase one from them that works, or simply take responsibility and deal with it.When you go to purchase a mattress, the sales team will push you to purchase one of their bed systems as well. However, what they dont tell you is that your headboard you already own, may or may not attach to your new bed system. According to the tech who sees this every day, most do not, and you will need to purchase one from them. The tech even noted that many customers have complained about this, but the brackets they make are cheap and they never fix it. This was never explained to us. So, what happened is they came out, installed the headboard, and it was put on so flimsy that it literally fell over into the wall. I called and was told basically there is nothing I could do except put a towel or something else behind to support it. The customer service agent was not friendly, she then revealed to me that this bed system only attaches to certain head boards. No one ever mentioned this as a possibility. So, here we are stuck with a headboard that doesnt fit which I can either leave leaning against the wall forever, or buy a new headboard from Gardner-White. The customer service agent was rude, not helpful, and basically said that it was my problem and I could take responsibility and deal with it. This is some pretty vital information that should be disclosed to customers beforehand, not for them to find out after their purchase is made and nothing can be done. Do not buy from this company.

      Not happy with quality of cushions on our leather couch from Gardner White. Going on 5 months snd broken down just like the 5 yr old leather couch we replaced. Complained to Corporate and waiting for a response

      Absolutely the worst service we have ever received from a furniture store. We purchased a reclining sofa (elecric) that was delivered with a broken switch panel on one side. Delivery man took a picture that day and sent it in. When we called they said they never received it, then all of the sudden it was just over looked. After several calls including speaking to store manager that was going to look into it and call right back. Well still waiting on that call . I wouldn't buy another piece of furniture or recommend this company to anyone.
