I purchased a 2022 Integra Accolade Super C ** from General ** in April of ****. I paid over $250,000.00 for this **. I have the ** installed on a lot I purchased from the ******************** in **************. My problems started in the summer of 2022 when the key would not unlock the entry door. I had to drill the lock. Both the kitchen and bathroom sinks had been glued to the basin tops. The glue deteriorated in the ******* heat and sinks fell into the cabinets, held up only by the plastic drain lines. Then on the day before Thanksgiving the induction cooktop quit working. I made numerous calls to General ** and to ******* Components the maker of the cooktop and convection oven microwave, ******* told me the cooktop has been discontinued and it is not a serviceable item. They advised to have General ** verify that was not working and they would replace it. I contacted General and they sent an outside technician to my location. ***** from next level ** was wonderful, professional tech, he photographed and verified everything that needed repairs. The lock, sinks, cooktop, convection oven, outside stereo has no power, macerator does not work, window in the bathroom leaks. He advised that he can fix everything on the list just needs the parts ordered and authorization. It's been six months and Genral ** has not ordered the parts. I call them weekly and they do not return my calls. when I do talk to them they promise that they will take care of it soon. They told me that Jaco Motorized has approved the repair of the sinks and ******* Components will replace the cooktop and convection oven. After calling General everyday for two weeks I finally talked to a supervisor who advised me that I now have to bring my ** to them for service. I explained how hard that would be because of the problems of getting it in and out of here'. I am offering to bring it in if they get the parts. They still don't return my calls.Business Response

I signed an agreement to buy a trailer if they kept my payments in a specific range and they didn't. I recently purchased a new 2022 Avenue 31BHS fifth wheel unit made by this company from a dealer here in *******. I purchased it on May 26th, 2023 and traded in my Forest River unit. I took delivery of the unit on May 30th, 2023. We came home with it and on the 1st of June we hooked it up to shore power and began another walkthrough and all kinds of issues appeared. So without even being able to use it or even put ANY of our camping items from our old unit in the new one I had to take it in on the 5th for repairs. Here is a list of items, awning is separating from the outside wall, there was a leaking drain pipe underneath, the battery master switch was not functioning properly, trim started coming off because it was glued to the wall, there was a crack in my roof fan dome, the trim under the master bedroom slide was completely off, one of the locks on the storage doors was completely missing (not sure how that happens). So I got most of those items repaired and some stuff on order. Now I dropped it off on the 5th and and picked it up on the 22nd. Yesterday on the 23rd I hooked it up to start preparing for our trip coming up on the 30th. NOW we have two new problems that were not broken prior. The fridge is not working correctly and the master slide wont extend. This seems to be a sign that this unit is a lemon. I really was hoping this company would be a step up from the last dealership but I had less issues with my forest River and should have stayed with them. This is supposed to be a new unit and I havent even used it once and its already going to go into the shop twice and I am at risk of canceling our trip, which happens to also be our anniversary so I am definitely having buyers regret right now. I want a new replacement unit that can be used and doesnt have to be in the maintenance shop. I am not paying a monthly payment to have it worked on.Business Response

We are sorry to hear that this customer had an unpleasant experience with our store. The customer came in for service through our Keep You Camping program for the two concerns he was having with his RV; which were the refrigerator and slide. Our technicians were able to identify the root cause of the issue the refrigerator has a unique feature to turn it off/on by long pressing the Function button. The slide required a new motor. Both items have been addressed by General RV, and the customer took possession of his RV on Tuesday, June 27th. Our service managers at the location have been in communication with the customer, and should the customer experience anymore concerns, we encourage the customer to reach back out to the service managers at the ***** location and General RV will be happy to assist. September 2022 -Purchased a 5th wheel RV from the dealership at the ******* ** RV Show in September -Original agreement was for a 23 model, which included 2 Draganfly Lithium-Ion batteries -Dealership then said they didnt have a 23, would we accept a 22 -We were told that the ONLY difference would be a different refrigerator, which we were ok with. -I specifically asked if the batteries would still be included and was told they would -During paperwork signing, I believe I had the battery stipulation put onto the handwritten documentation October 2022 -Went to the dealerships showroom in ************ in October 22 to pickup the *** and found that the batteries were not present -Brought this up during the acceptance walk-through (and can document having brought it up)-Dealership ************* me that the batteries, cables, and battery boxes for the proper batteries would be shipped to me.-I was present for this conversation, as was my mother who took notes (which I have) and recalls being told this.March 2023 -Beginning to prepare for the camping season, I contacted the dealership to check on the batteries, having not received them -Dealership denied any knowledge of the batteries and stated that unless I could provide written proof of the agreement, they would not be sending me the batteries -I asked them to show me the original handwritten document I signed at the show, and they will not do so. They say they have reviewed all of the paperwork and cant find anything in writing - They have not made any attempt to negotiate anything, just issued a flat refusal to live up to their word.- After being told by the manager at the ************ shop that he was not going to budge on this, I was referred to their ************************* at their HQ in ********. - They told me that their process is to refer it back to the local store, who has the final decision.- That process is ongoing, but he has already given "final answer."Business Response

I bought a brand new ** from General Rv 2 years ago and the ** has been there for over a year. They threaten me to pick up my ** that theres nothing they can do with it as they are having problems with **** and they threaten that I will have to pay $25 a day for storage then they quickly said no never mind the coach is not fixed then they dropped it off at my house in way worse condition than I brought it to them. Nothing works everythings broken, they did not give me any explanation or paperwork. They dropped it off and left. this company is the absolute worst you cant get through to anybody. The receptionist says the same exact thing that she will leave a message no one ever gets back to you I asked to speak to a supervisor. Their mailboxes are always full , they sell lemons they take your money and they completely ignore you and steal and destroy your rv. Theyve had their employees steal things off my **,my bed doesnt even work. The panel box is broken. The list goes on and on and on theyve even dented my van. This explains why they did not want to give me any paperwork or see what was done because they have damaged my van and they are not wanting to be responsible for it. How could a company have a van for over a year and do absolutely no warranty work whatsoever. This company is absolutely terrible to work with , they need to refund me exchange for a new one or finally fix the job correctly but even then it being there over a year and they couldnt get anything done. Even the headquarters says that this is terrible, but they do absolutely nothing nowhere. No one in General Rv gives a c*** about their customers and destroys their purchases. I would have never ever bought anything from this company. If I known the nightmare that followed I cant even use my brand new coach still. Im so upsetBusiness Response

We advised the customer to reach out to Thor if he was not satisfied with what was approved for repairs. The customer told our employee it would be best to get off his property after drop-off, which we obliged by. Took travel trailer in to General RV in ******* January of 2023 for an electrical issue (12v accessories werent working when plugged into shore power only 120v stuff). Told them I thought my converter was bad. Picked up a few weeks later, was told there was a loose connection and the converter was fine. Charged 1 hour labor to fix wire that wasnt connected to converter ($185). Electrical issue was still present after their fix, took TT back to themthey literally didnt believe that I still had issues. Made a technician go inside TT with me, took the electrical panel off and guess what?! The converter was fried the whole time. Huh, someone missed that!. Was then charged another $425 in labor, not including the new converter, to fix it. They refused to credit me back an hour in labor from them not fixing it the first time, even though their tech admitted someone hadnt checked the converter in the first place. They did offer me 1/2 hour credit after talking to ******** May, the service manager. Incredibly disappointed with the service at General RV. Will not be back, and will recommend others to seek alternate mechanics. Its not about the money, its about the principal.Business Response

We are sorry to hear the customer was displeased with their experience. General RV did look at the convertor issue previously, and could not diagnose any issues besides a loose connection. The customer was charged for one hour of diagnostics and we tightened the connection. General RV did not want to replace the whole convertor if we could not diagnose any issues beyond the loose connection as everything seemed to be working properly upon the customers first visit. After the customer returned, ********************** RV was able to diagnose that the convertor did in fact need to be replaced, and the customer was charged two hours for that repair. The customer was offered a refund of a half an hour, but refused as they wanted the full hour waived. General RV is still willing to refund this half hour should the customer wish to move forward with the offer.Thank you.Customer Answer

General RVs message does not resolve my issue. They clearly did not check the converter the first time I took unit in for maintenance, as I asked them to. When I came back the second time, I had a tech show me the converter, which was visibly fried, his words. He admitted that they must have missed it. Before visibly looking at the converter, he tested my battery with a volt reader before and after plugging in to shore power. When there was no change in the reading, he said the only thing that would cause that is a converter not working.General RV charged me an hour of labor to do nothing other than connect a wire. Which I would have been fine with if it had fixed the issue, but it didnt. They clearly just saw a loose wire and didnt check the converter. A refund of a full hour of labor is the only thing that will resolve this issue. I assumed this would be done without my asking, since they didnt fix it in the first place.

I bought/financed a 2019 avenger travel trailer from the General RV location on 3/22/2019. The price was sold at $20,874, and I put down $2000 in cash with a trade in value of $1000. Total down payment was $3000. I financed this travel trailer brand new, not used. Ever since i got this trailer, i have experienced nothing but issues that remain unresolved with no help from the dealership. When i brought the trailer home, it was found that there were issues with the trailer that were never disclosed during the closing. I found that the kitchen table was broke, the door to the outside refrigerator was broke, the accordion door to the master bed was broke, the lock on the storage door was broke, and the biggest one was the main door. I found out about some of these issues through phone calls from there service department who have had knowledge about the issues. Some of the other issues i came across by discovering them myself. It took over a year and many many phone calls, pulling teeth and nails, to attempt to get my front door fixed. At one point when i spoke to a lady by the name of ******** she referred me to the maker of the model which is ****** to help me. Finally, after those issues were resolved and after some parts even sent to my home as if im going to fix it, now i come across another issue. The front door is once again broke, which only stays intact for 1 camping trip, and we had a leak by the slide out a few months ago which we paid to have fixed. Well they apparently didnt fix it because it is still leaking. My husband called everyday last week, i called every day the following 2 weeks. They always say they will return our call, but they don't. I filled a complaint with their corp office and still no call back. I've even called multiple times in a day asking for anyone to help. The issue has left now a soft spot in my camper due to unresolved issues. I called today and my husband called today. Noone has followed up. Unethical sales tactics! Sold a lemon.Business Response

We are sorry to hear this customer had an unpleasant experience with our store. The last record we have of this customer coming in for service was in March of 2021 in regards to their electric ***** LP **** cover, and water leak. During that service appointment,General RV discovered concerns with the seals and sealant. An estimate was given to the customer of six hours to perform a scrape and seal, however only two hours appear to be authorized by the customer to repair the slide seals themselves.Due to the events that transpired with the customer in March of 2021, the customer was asked to no longer seek service from General RV *****. At this time any concerns regarding the condition of this RV would be the responsibility of the owner. Thank you.Customer Answer
