      The ********** General RV - Buyer Beware Never Sign Any Paperwork Until Your Unit is Perfect. I purchased my new unit 10/10/2022 and I still have not been able to bring our unit home. We were told by General RV multiple times the parts had been ordered but no ETA. I reached out to ************************** multiple time and told give us 48 hours to look into this. No response. We left them alone until I had to make my first loan payment. On December 12, 2022 we again contacted General RV Ashland no response. I contacted the manufacturer, and they confirmed in writing that General RV had not ordered the replacement stove as we had been told. Th General RV did order the awning however the manufacturer was waiting for General RV to send on pictures of the damaged awning. We contacted General RV again no response, so I contacted ************************** who said they would reach out to Ashland and they would get back to me with an update. No Response....Never Sign the Paperwork Until Your Unit is Perfect.

      Bought an Alliance Paradigm Nov 17th. Started noticing leaks in front of the shower, bedroom, and the right side of the washer and dryer in the closest.
      Along with other issues, the most egregious were these leaks. Given we were no longer in the vicinity of Ocala FL and that we live in our RV, we hired someone to properly take care of the issues that we should never had to do
      1. the leaks to the front of the shower and the bedroom were related to loose connections behind the shower faucets
      2. the leaks by the washer and dryer were related to a loose fitting hose and one of the shut off valves that was not anchored securely into the feed tube
      Called General RV 3 times asking for someone to call me back (no call back). Attempted to leave messages for R. Johnson service manager and F. ******** operations manager but could not because no surprise their voice mails were full. Spoke to the receptionist in the service department who said she had left me a message to make an appointment but there was no message. I was dismissed because I declined to make an appointment. Foolishly wanted to point out what happened, that maybe someone would care but no, no one cares.
      Bottom line, if you do not actually bring your RV back, they won't pay you any attention. But even if you do bring it back, there is no guarantee you won't go back home with the same problem as there is no confidence in the way things are done.
      I say this to General RV:
      Why in the world would I bring anything back to you a 2nd time since you didn't do it the first time?
      Do you ever read your reviews there littered with poor ones-why are you not doing anything to improve?
      I would have left a better review as initially things went fairly well even though they wanted to delay our pick up to another day and they needed reminding about a couple of things that needed to be done but given the lack of response to my concerns, I could not in all honesty give them anything more than 1 star and a poor review

      ********* conducting Rv class after purchase did not show how to connect waste tanks hose (crucial) did not know how to use backup camera (crucial, turn off radio (crucial to not running engine battery dead), stated he did not like questions and did the class only a certain way. Engine battery died twice during first week. Propane tank cap left off and valve wide open, all propane leaked out. Thank God no one was smoking while tank leaked. Contacted service **** regarding issues, promised a call back still waiting 4 days later. Left message with general manager for a call back, will update comments if call back received.

      We purchased our 36 foot Winnebago Vista from Stoltzfus in 2016. After 8,000 miles during an inspection it was noted that the front tires needed to be replaced. After further inspection, we learned that the rv was .65 out of alignment. The repair tech said he had never seen that and it had to be in an accident or a failure from Ford or Winnebago. Both Ford and Winnebago blamed each other. Ultimately, Ford paid for 1/2 of the repair ($800). Stoltzfus refused to help at all and took no responsibility. Additionally, 14 interior lights had to be replaced within 2 years. Again, Stoltzfus offered no assistance and we had to pay for labor to replace the lights (over $1,400). More recently, with only 14,000 miles we need the valve train repaired — it is at the Ford dealer now. When we asked Stoltzfus who could service the RV and help with the engine they said no one and offered no help again. After calling Ford corporate they directed us tot the Ford dealer about 1 mile away from Stoltzfus. Initially, the dealer said they couldn’t help. Long story short- don’t trust Stoltzfus or Ford or Winnebago. All they care about is money. Stoltzfus is the worst of the group. Employee owned…and they don’t care about customers at all. All they care about is $$$$.

      ***********************- they are all for making a sale but when it comes to their service department, they will never get back to you. It's been a month and we are still out of parts for our camper, and no one will talk to us, We were told that everything would be taken care of the following Monday after our purchase and not we are non-existent to them. These were items that should have been taken care of before we walked off the lot, but we were told to take it home and they will order everything and get back to us. Still nothing.They will also ruin your credit, they pulled our credit and ran it multiple times without consent, that will be filed with the **** and dispute with the credit department. But they never asked and thought they were doing us a favor and getting the best deal out there. We never asked them to do this. They also messed up our application and made my Debt-to-Income ratio higher because their financing department didn't want to listen and only delt with my husband but yet we told them several times it was all to be in my name. Today I have been calling and calling and no one will get back to me. Very poor service, wish we would have supported local and smaller. Think General RV is too big for their own good.

      Most unethical, dishonest ************ ever dealt with. Purchased used RV in June of 2022. Nothing but problems. Provided checklist of everything they said they inspected and several items have never worked. Constantly lying about parts being ordered and replaced and nothing ever seems to be true!!

      Do not use General RV for service. They lie and pass the buck and ruin your vacations. Our trailer has been there since July 8th with no work done. Its always some excuse. Weve even paid for parts already that they say they still need to buy. I want my trailer back. We had to cancel a trip and lost money on that and due to this companies lies and dishonesty are looking at having to cancel another trip and ruining our daughters birthday. If I could give zero stars for service I would. Ive never been treated so poorly. I could write a book on how lousy our experience has been.

      Worst **************** Ever. We purchased our ** at General ** in ***** at the beginning of April and thanks to *********************** and *************************, the sale was done easily. On our way home from ***** we found problems with our 2016 Motorhome and was told by ***** that we could take it to General ** in ******* for Warranty repairs. I do have ******************* The people in ******* are horrid. The 1st Service Tech we dealt with said most of the issues were not covered under warranty and to get the overhead bunk fixed we would need to come back or leave the ** for an indefinite amount of time. On May 13th my husband suffered a stroke and was not allowed to drive for 30 days. We made and appointment and **** was the Technician who helped us. He was awesome. However we were told my Warranty had expired and I would have to pay out of pocket for any work. The following week we were told to come and get the ** as it was ready for us. Enroute home, the overhead bunk disengaged and slipped out of the brackets. BJ the service manager yelled at me and my husband on the phone and accused us of stealing our ** and not paying for any service charges. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Will never do business with ******* again.

      Poor **************** skills. I purchased a Jayco Eagle in 2020 . Our fridge stopped working ( warranty was still valid ) the customer service area failed to submit a timely claim to manufacturer. General RV has had our trailer 3 months now and no resolution. They fail to return any calls. Service Manager will not ************* or return calls. I have enlisted the help of the trailer manufacturer Jayco but still no resolution.

      I do not recommend doing business with General RV. Sales team will mislead you with terms that will not be met in an attempt to get a non refundable down payment. Once you get to the finance people, they add thousands of dollars in charges that put your payments out of reach. **************** does not respond to any attempts of contact. In an attempt to have multiple issues resolved on my brand new fifth wheel, I get no response after initial contact to resolve manufacturer warranty issues. I leave messages and emails and get no response. I have had issues with them in the past. I have gone through different stores and it really doesn't matter. They treat you the same.
