      I think management at general rv ********* town is a complete Disgrace Lies and two faced individuals False promises etc. theres just so much wrong with this companys higher management they should be absolutely ashamed of how they do business. There is no honesty, what so ever General Rv headquarters is in the dark on the day to day actions at ************* ** general rv I strongly recommend just bypassing this rv store to save yourself the headaches

      Bought new rv 2 years ago .Issues : sales promised that our rv is coming with add a room ( tent that opens up outside and is connected with rv ).Found out the day we went to pick up the rv that this was a lie. Manager did not want to loose our business and promised to have custom made add a room rebuild- still waiting , after 2 years.They sold us lemon: water leaks- that they could not fix 4 x the rv was in their possession- fixed it myself.Rv hitch system failed- they had to install a new part.Because the extra room - they have been keeping the rv about 8 months now and in that time frame they damaged our rv: fabric was ripped many places, ceiling paint missing, corner of the cabinet missing, shower door lock broken( shower door was open , and lock was not usable), shower head leaking.Theyve giving us run around, keep passing us to one person to another: we went through about 20 people ,some got fired some change the job title.This season I have been loosing 6 rv camping days. Members fees are not cheap. Told them this but they do not do anything about it.Told them that this is it and will write to better Business Bureau.

      We are sorry to hear about this customer's experience with our Elizabethtown location. The customer's coach did come with an Add-A-Room, but the Add-A-Room is just a screen room of mosquito netting and not an opaque tent. The local vendor was selected to fabricate the privacy screens, and also to source sturdier tent-poles for the Add-A-Room, as the exiting poles are not designed to be able to take any extra weight. There is no reason the customer cannot go camping without an add a room. Our store has tried to get the fabricator of the Add-A-Room to correct the work. The reasoning for the customer working with multiple parties is due to the customer's behavior with our team members.

      I bought a travel trailer and was told that there was no place to camp on the facility to check the operation of the vehicle I went to the closest RV park and discovered the slide out was not operational(broken). When I took it back I discovered that there WAS A PLACE TO CAMP OVERNIGHT ON THE FACILITY (general RV ***** **). I spent 9 MONTHS going back and forth from where I live which was a 5 hour round trip (6 times over this 9 month period) to get it repaired. Parts were ordered and when they came in they were the wrong parts. They took measurements on several occasions. I had to send in pictures, serial numbers multiple times. I was only reimbursed for travel (fuel) once. During that period I've had other issues with the same result (wrong part) 5 hour round trip. This time they promise to give me store credit $300 as compensation. Its been 3 weeks and I checked and there was no store credit on my account. Either this dealership is the most incompetent, unprofessional operation I have ever seen or since I am of African ******** descent and they are an ****** RACIST or both. How can they stay in business if they treat ALL customers this way???

      Beware of this place, They are in business because they steal, commit fraud and just flat out lie. Once you sign a non refund deposit, they take your money and could care less about what you wanted to buy. ( they basically stole $5000 form me) There finance guy (Clyde), is a total ***** and is general rvs trained little monkey, I can't imagine this place being in business very much longer or not having a large class action lawsuit pursued against them.

      We are sorry to hear about this customer experience with our store. The customer did sign a non-refundable deposit agreement with us. We would be able to use that deposit towards another coach if the customer would like to, but we won't be refunding it.

      They do shotty work, grossly underestimate repair and install times, lie to get your deposit and have you drive out for no reason because they are incompetent. Their GM tries to buy off your anger by offering a certificate to stay at locations you've never heard of.

      We bought the camper in February 2023. Shower door wouldnt close. They told us if we left with the camper they would have the shower door shipped to a closer store. The sales woman **** promised she would continue to help with customer service after purchasing. Since we took it off the lot weve called numerous times and were told they were waiting for the door to ship. **** called to talk to manager after manager each telling us a new lie. Finally someone returned our call and are saying we have to measure the shower door ourselves to make sure the door fits. This is ridiculous! I wrote a bad review on yelp. Someone responded for us to call and they would look into it. We called and they asked us to leave a name and number so they could return our call. We that but no one has returned our call. We spent 35,000$ on this camper and cant take a shower! The worst is being lied to in person and on the phone! They should be on the **** OF SHAME! Save yourself and your sanity by going somewhere else!

      BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP. THEY PROMISE AND DONT COME THRU. It all started out great in the beginning. We ordered our 45 trailer model, that originally cost $105k, after negotiating to $70k. We put our deposit down on Feb 1 2023. *************************** sales man said it would be in middle of *****. Cuz was being built. Then March 17th he called and said the trailer was in stock and we needed to finish paperwork. I scheduled flight, car, hotel for ***** (as we live in Wa state but flordia). Told the dealership dates and scheduled finishing paperwork. Then finance guy said well get the other one that comes in ***** 6th this was mar 20th. March 21st, ***** (sales guy) called early and told us that they SOLD BOTH models promised to us. Even though our names were on them and we gave them money. The told us they could order another one but the cost would be way higher, then the paperwork we signed and put money down on originally, so now upto $82k. Thats almost $12k more. They both said that the manufacturer price went up. We told them it Wasnt our problem or original deal, we agreed on And TRIED to sell us a cheaper built model, that we didnt want. After arguing and being upset with ***** and ***************************. We decided to force them to refund our money and take business elsewhere. ******* the manger only tried to make more money off us then we originally agreed. I took my business to COUCHES RV NATION and saved even more money. Wholesaler rv company all the way. Saved even more money for same trailer. Spent there $69k.

      We are sorry to hear the customer was unhappy with our sales team and process. We ordered the customer a coach after receiving their deposit. When it arrived the customer would not pick it up until 4/20 and would not sign ownership papers until they could see the coach. At that time, the coach was placed on our lot for sale. Our sales team called the customer to offer another camper coming from the manufacturer, but these coaches experienced a price increase of $2000. We informed the customers of the price increase as we were working the sale at cost already. We did offer the customer another coach, but the customer was unhappy with that model. We apologize that we were unable to assist this customer, but we are happy that they will be able to enjoy the ** life even if the coach was not purchased from us.

      We bought a 2022 5th wheel last June 2022 and have been camping 3 times. All 3 times something broke and then we had to go through the process of getting it replaced. The service department is absolutely ridiculous. Theservice writer they gave us is ****** and she will not return calls to make appointments. I called every one on ********************* to no avail, no return calls and they still have my refrigerator that needs to be replaced. I would never recommend nor buy another RV from this business and wished I had known of all the reviews before hand. If you are looking an RV do your self a favor and do purchase form here

      How in the real world that they believe they are #1 in the RV industry is beyond reasonable and rational thinking…they train their ridiculously stupid receptionists (Melissa and Kim) in “Service” (which should be labeled “Non-Service”) to lie and hang up on their distressed customers, and allow the people in charge of those cretins (Billy *****) to threaten customers when they take exception to the irrational abuse, by showing up in person to get the lies and abuse straightened out! This personally happened to me, on 03/02/2023.
      There was an extenuating circumstance which was precipitated by my husband’s surprise hospital stay, and there was going to be a conflict with the appointment for which we had been waiting FOUR MONTHS (I kid you not) for Warranty work to be done which SHOULD HAVE BEEN COMPLETED BACK IN JULY! Desperately seeking assistance, I first tried to contact the service advisor, Sean, then Billy *****, Asst. Service Mgr., but they never called me back, then I asked for Drew Dungan, Service Mgr., who never called me back, then I asked for Trae Aiken, the Operations Mgr., who never called me back…I called again after waiting for hours, and begged to speak with SOMEONE IN AUTHORITY, PLEASE, who could give me assistance and Melissa (a lying and rude receptionist) told me that there was no one and that they had a 24 to 48 hour call back policy and that I had to wait for that time period to pass! Having explained to her again and again that my situation was such that I could not wait as my appointment was at 9:00 the next morning and I had a conflicting doctor’s appointment, to which she replied that there was no one over there who could do any more than she was able to do, and that she was going to hang up…I LITERALLY BEGGED MELISSA NOT TO HANG UP ON ME, BUT SADLY, SHE DID HANG UP ON ME. I showed up at Service and magically EVERYONE APPEARED, profusely offering the help I had begged for ALL DAY LONG…no excuse to treat customers in this way??

      Our Operations Manager personally sat and spoke with her the day she came in early for her appointment. He stated he listened to her concerns regarding discussions with colleagues and apologized for her concerns. The customer was clearly under duress due to a scheduled procedure for her husband. He further explained that we want to accommodate her but there were other commitments we had with other customers which is why we have an appointment system. We asked her to wait until we could free up a service advisor to accommodate her request which she obliged; he believes the wait was roughly 10 minutes.

      Regarding the interaction in which the customer was hung up, our centralized scheduler that she was on the phone with advised her that she was unable to reach the parties she was demanding to speak with. The customer told her that she would sit on hold until she could reach someone, no matter how long that took. After informing our management team of the situation, the decision was made to inform the customer if there was nothing more our scheduler could do to assist her at this time that she would be ending the call.

      My comment still stands as the REAL TRUTH of what transpired…ONLY after I showed up at General RV did any “customer service” actually occur, bc NO ONE CALLED ME OR ANSWERED MY CALLS PRIOR THERETO. Then, when I did go back this past Saturday to pick up my “repaired” RV, I find the they had left my passenger door open during a rainstorm?? The door handle and two storage compartments in the door were filled with rainwater!!! This is unacceptable and General RV is a joke! Their ability to satisfy customers rates a ZERO!!! My RV should never have been turned over to me until someone had gone over the entire vehicle! Do yourself a favor and read ALL of the negative comments FIRST, before making the HUGE mistake of buying anything from this company!!! They can’t be nicer when you are shelling out over $100,000 cash for their vehicles, but that abruptly comes to a screeching halt after you drive away!!!
