1 starI have been banking with Wings for about 20 + years. At first they were great but now...NOT SO. You can never reach a live person without being on hold for a LONG time. Even longer if there system doesn't disconnect you. I waited 25 + minutes to speak with someone about information on opening a large CD. ****** was very short with me. She spoke over my head with terms I did not understand. When I asked for clarification she acted like I was interrupting her lunch or something - I was treated like garbage. Based on this experience and all the other times I have needed help and was met with the same poor attitude I will be taking money out of my savings and opening up that large CD elsewhere. If I find the other place is people friendly/customer service oriented I may close all my accounts at Wings. They have definitely gone way down hill quickly.Review fromLovette G

2 starsRIDICULOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE Having the worst experience with them right and I rarely have contact Wings unless its an absolute must. They manually debited my account because supposedly i withdrew $100 from my account but their system never corrected itself. According to a rep, the transaction was cancelled but somehow I received $100. The day in question, I actually conducted 1 cash withdrawal for $500 at the atm later in the afternoon, on 8/28. Today is 9/19 and they debited l my account for $100. Per my account history and my recollection, I took out only $500 and transferred 100 to cover little transaction. The part that is really frustrating, their rep said the $100 was conducted at noon but I was at work at the time hence the reason why I conducted my valid transaction at 3:45 pm, after work. Its impossible for me to be in 2 places at once. No one seems to know or can help me understand their discrepancies because only one person handles this type of situation and she was gone for the day. I have many questions yet, only one person can provide that answer but she wasnt available. Its about the principle and the fact that its my money and they are trying to pull a wool over me. There is lack of knowledge from reps, no one seems to know and solve the issue except this one person who is not available. Speaking to the rep ******** felt like I was a criminal and that the flimsy explanation I was given was a valid reason as to why someone would manually debit my account. For a transaction I ever conducted. I cant speak to this mysterious person but only their diaries can relay her responses to me. The bank itself is okay to do business with but mysterious funds manually debited out of my account my an employee which I never conducted, I have a problem with. I am yet to get a sound and clear understanding and with proof that I benefited from the withdraw.Review fromPerry S

1 starDO NOT and I repeat DO NOT use this credit union. We have a credit card through them with suspicious charges. As we were investigating, they dinged our credit even though we paused/canceled the card. The fact that they said they would give us a few days to check into it and then won't answer our return calls shows how poorly ran this place is run. If they leave you a voicemail with an extension to reach a rep it immediately queues you with the regular support line. I have wasted hours trying to get this resolved to no avail. What a joke.Review fromBrad B

1 starThe customer service has really gone downhill. Good luck if you need to talk to someone! This time, I've been trying for over an hour to connect with a human. They suggest going to the website and using the chat feature, but that only works if its a simple task. I'm trying to speak with someone about an issue and been on hold over 55 minutes. Tried calling multiple times, but keep getting disconnected when I follow their prompts or sit on hold forever. This has occurred the last several times I've tried calling. It would be quicker to get in my car and drive across town in rush hour to speak with someone.Review fromCorey J

The absolutely charge you up the ***** for that, something is completely out of my control. I have asked at one point if I could pay on 2 cards oh thatll be another 20$ charge. These guys are criminals and will take you to the cleaners stay far far away from them. I unfortunately am locked in.Review fromTroy M.

1 starTerrible experience. We were lied to. A **************************** told us would pay one rate which we had specifically asked about to make sure it was close to the one we paid at our previous credit card company. On the phone the associate figured what our payment would be, and it was reasonable. Spoiler alert! - We were lied to about the rate we would be paying. We got our first bill. The amount was almost double what the associate had quoted to us. The associate would not return calls. She responded to our emails stating, I have reached out to our *********************** for advice on this followed up by I have heard back from our ************************ the minimum monthly payment is 2% of the **** balance. I have attached a copy of the truth in lending disclosure that will be coming in the mail with your new ***** Interesting in that we couldnt have even known about the actual rate until we received our cards, but they, Wings Financial, can say whatever they think will get you to sign on with them until then. That is one devious business practice.Obviously we were not happy about being lied too, so we left a final message with the associate and said that someone needed to call us, even if it wasnt her.We did receive a call from a branch manager, stating they have no control over the minimum monthly rate. When asked about tlying by being told one rate, but given another, she repeatedly stated thats not the way they do business (by lying), but there is nothing they can do about it. Ironically, lying to us and then denying responsibility was exactly the way they do business. The manager also kept calling the lie a miscommunication in some type of weird Orwellian doublespeak. No, it was simply a lie. When we called their customer service number we were on hold for over 30 minutes I guess there were a lot of complaints! Go elsewhere for your Credit Card needs, if you go to Wings Financial you will likely regret it.Review fromMarie J

1 starWings FCU has notified it's members, for 3-4 years now, that they were planning to change their telephone banking system to a computer generated voice that talks you through the options. They did not, in all those years, mention that it would no longer be pushing numbers on the telephone nor did they mention that it would be tied to your speaking instead and that you would be put on hold for HOURS so that your "voice signature" would be set up so you could use the system. I called the MAIN number and the person I got there would NOT help me. I went to the physical location the next day and questioned the clerk about their process and WHY they were not giving people the choice to keep the old push button from your landline. I also asked what they did for people who could not speak. I GOT ABSOLUTELY NO ANSWER TO EITHER, in fact I was completely ignored. I said a friend had told me that if you're hoarse with a cold, you have to wait until your voice returns to normal before you can do your banking business again. He said "yes that can happen". I wasn't yelling but he kept looking at someone behind another counter like he was worried he might have to protect himself. Really? As if I have no right to ask questions and speak of my dissatisfaction with a business I have been with a very, very long time? That is abysmal customer service. Maybe I'll let somebody better handle my money. Add to this that he hands me a piece of paper at the end that tells me everything I needed to expect when the system changed. I say "it would've helped if I had gotten that in the mail before the system was put into place". He replied, more than a few times during our discussion, something to the effect that they weren't ready as good as they had hoped when they set things in motion. REALLY? 3-4 years is not enough time? I don't want to bank at a place I can't trust and I don't trust shoddy, careless work such as this with my money. It's too bad. They used to be a good Credit Union.Review fromEmily E

1 starThis bank is reporting that I owe them money via ChexSystems. I have called and talked to their ************************* once and was promised a call back the next day. Haven't heard back when I have left them multiple voicemails. It has now been 3 business days since I spoke with them. I am unable to open a bank account at another bank because of this. When the person I spoke with pulled this up he said that he did not see that I owed them money, but wanted to look into this. They were horrible to work with when I was with them, and now are even worse. There hold times are insane. If you are looking to work with a bank that is good to their members do not work with Wings Financial!!Review fromRyan M

1 starIm being charged bogus interest rates for using my wings financial when l never missed a payment. And now instead of raising my credit score, it lowers it. I called and no representative could cancel the interest. Its way to steal from loyal customers. Please beware of this fraudulent behavior
