      Approximately 2 1/2 years ago, we built a new home in *******, **, and purchased Andersen windows and doors. These were installed by a licensed California contractor and inspected and approved by the county. Unfortunately, one of the Andersen windows has failed and begun to bow, and one of the large sliding glass doors is leaking water into the ******** contractor and I have been reaching out to Andersen for over two years, but we have been given the runaround without any real solutions. They have sent multiple representatives to inspect the door and are not offering any resolutions to this issue and state Call back in 3-5 business days. This company stated they have a ***** year warranty on their windows and doors however, they are yet to honor their 15-year warranty. The water is leaking into the house, leading to potential water damage and the risk of mold development. I would like this company to either replace the sliding glass door, replace or give full refund for the slider and the install. I can provide email correspondents if necessary.       Please let us know who the customer has spoken with at ********************** that would be helpful.  The description of the Limited Warranty does not match Andersen's Limited Warranty, The Andersen *****-2-***** LImited Warranty provides 10 years or non-glass parts and 20 years on glass. I will have an Andersen ***************** manager contact the customer.  The contact may take up to 7 business days.

      Racism and favoritism - It came to my attention that one of my ********** when I was working at the time did a **** salute in the middle of the work place and wasnt disciplined for it.- I was given points when refusing to work with another employee because this person made me feel uncomfortable and another co worker of mine did the same thing but was not disciplined

      Have been purchasing windows from ******** Windows for 10 years and have had nothing but problems since 2020. Field Service employees have no desire to fix anything anymore. Any issue with their windows is immediately labeled and "installer issue." Have a 2+ million dollar home that has warped sashes and they continue to blame it on the install. The frame is plumb and square as they demand and yet they say that the frame is putting pressure on the sash and causing it to warp. Anyone with any experience can tell you the frame would have to be warped to warp the window sash. This has been going on for nearly a year. On another house we purchased A-Series french doors and they have never functioned properly. Multiple techs came to look at them and tried to adjust them with no success. We told them the door was dragging on the bottom becuae the divider was too long which we were told was not true. After 3 years a tech came out and said it was too long, cut off 1/8" inch and it works perfectly. Anotehr of the A-Series doors have a bent frame in the middle which we showed them multiple times and we told it was again "installed incorrectly." Finally got a tech to look at it for a 4th time and he knew exactly what was wrong with it and fixed it in no time. Meanwhile I couldn't get paid from the client for 3 years because of the door issues. I am in the same boat again on a current house and we showed them the problems but was again told its an install issue. I will never order another ******** Window or refer anyone to this company. Service is beyond awful and nothing gets resolved in a timely matter. Every time you want to speak to someone, your told that they are "traveling" and will get back to you later and by later they mean several weeks. DO NOT BY THEIR PRODUCTS?

      Wife and I decided to "upgrade" to Andersen windows during our kitchen/dining room renovation. The first window (in the kitchen, an awning) was beautiful but had a large ***** on it. Andersen offered to refund part of the purchase price so we decided to keep the window and I (Im a contractor) trimmed it out so the ***** is barely noticeable. The next 2 windows (dining room, double hung) were the wrong size (1/2 inch too small). Again, Andersen offered to refund part of the purchase price so we decided to keep these too. We did not inspect the windows closely at this time (they weren't going to be installed for a few months) and we thought it best to leave them in the packaging. Big mistake on our part. In addition to MULTIPLE cosmetic defects, the windows don't function properly. It is IMPOSSIBLE to finish the windows as is. After an hour on the phone with a very sweet woman at Andersen customer service, I was transferred to ***** (male) in corporate. After a brief conversation - if you can even call it that as ***** interrupted and cut me off mid sentence multiple times - ***** asked me what was the goal here. As I tried to tell ***** we want, at the very least, a partial refund, ***** **** UP ON ME. I spent a lot of money on "high quality" windows for my forever kitchen and received junk. **************** is appalling and ******* behavior is disgusting. When considering new windows, go with ANYONE else. Andersen (*****) did reach out to apologize for Jamies behavior but continue to tell me there is nothing they can do. How can a company sell a defective product and refuse to take it back and refund at least part of the purchase price?!?

       I am rejecting this response because: Andersen made an offer of $2700 which I accepted, but I am still waiting for the paperwork and check.  Im told that will take some time.  I will consider this matter settled and accept the response as soon as Andersen makes good on their word. I am not comfortable accepting Andersens response until the refund is paid. I reached out to ***** at Andersen today to explain my response to the BBB.

      Andersen uses third-party contractors to advertise their product on personal email accounts. These contractors harvest email addresses and send continuous spam advertisements. We receive up to four of these advertisements per day. All attempts to stop these emails fail. Because of this specific marketing practice, Andersen avoids culpability and can deny knowledge that this harassment occurs.

Bulk physical mailings by ******************************* services that include multiple coupons or flyers for multiple companies are not owned or operated by Andersen and their physical mailings may still contain information about Andersen or Renewal by Andersen in the group.

       I am rejecting this response because: The answer does not address the problem. The problem is a predatory marketing plan and a possible 90-day resolution, both of which are unacceptable. I am not nor ever was a customer of this company. They hired a third-party email marketing company (s) to sell their product. This company (s) proceeded to harvest my email address and send multiple emails per day to my email account. Since ********************** hired this company (s) they can insist on a resolution that takes at most days if not sooner. Removing my name from the spam list is a good start, waiting up to 90 days for resolution is unacceptable. Since I did not ask to be spammed with Andersen advertising, I specifically asked for and demand a company apology for the inconvenience and not a computer-generated response.

      I returned a screen replacement and know one can tell me where my replacement is I wanted a refund or the proper screen sent to me. Know one will transfer me to a manager or anyone else. I have spent $80 on a screen that said fit my door online but didnt fit when I received it. There is no tracking number because I paid with stamps and I spoke to someone before I returned it and returned it to the address that it came from,

      Sales cold call every week. Put fliers on door every week. Won't stop after numerous request to do so.

      Thank-you for the information from the customer.  We will remove them from all contacts. Removal of all the contact information can take approximately 4 to 6 weeks for all information to be completely removed.  Please be aware that there are some bulk mailers (advertisements from multiple different independent companies that come in one envelope) that may still contain Renewal or Andersen ads in them. As they are for multiple independent companies and not just Renewal or Andersen we are not able to stop those mailings.

      Requesting that business honor lifetime warranty for replacement of door handle. The handle broke once in 2021 and was replaced under part number *****. Order number ********. Business is asking for a serial number on a door which has either worn off or was never put on. The door was purchased on June 11th 2008 at ********** with a lifetime warranty on the door handle parts. I would like them to provide me with a serial number since no one ever provided me with one and seems to be instrumental in receiving new door handle parts which seems to be needed every few years and to honor the replacement warranty and allow me to order the door replacement parts at no charge.

      This company's website offers to provide a quote for windows. I filled in all the information including window sizes and contact information and exchanges several text messages with them answering all questions after which they sent a text with a list of dealers saying to contact the dealers for pricing. This company collected all my information including email and physical addresses, phone number, etc. and did not provide the quote offered in their advertisment (main webpage. This is fraudulent advertising. They obtained all my personal information under false pretenses.
