Guns.com had a rare gun that I had deeply desired for years... I wasn't able to find it anywhere else, locally or on the web. The process was easy, shipping was fast, and I will definitely do business here again!!! A+ seller!

Three days after I placed a purchase through guns.com, I received an email stating that my order had been canceled.
Within the email, it was claimed that “the item below had just sold out as you were completing your purchase.” However, upon calling their service number I was told by a supervisor that, as a result of guns.com working with independent retailers across the country, said retailers will occasionally display items as “in stock” despite not having adequate inventory to fulfil incoming orders. In turn, orders will be able to be placed through guns.com’s site at a given rate, only to be abruptly canceled.
As an avid firearms owner, this is a major point of frustration. The prospect of finding certain firearms at a reasonable rate has become increasingly uncommon, and to have the joy of such a find be stifled by a deficient inventory tracking system between guns.com and their partners, I will likely view them as a less favorable option to consider in the future compared to similar companies.
Additionally, while I can understand the genuine intention behind their offering “$30 off any firearm over $300.” to “make up for this inconvenience”, this does little to remedy the disappointment resulting from a canceled order of a claimed “in stock” product available on their site now only able to be purchased for ˜ $100 more than its original price (likely through a different independent retailer).
The nature of guns.com’s sourcing via independent firearms retailers results in a lack of accountability in the instance of misrepresented inventory. Given that guns.com is a middle point between such independent retailers and consumers, I feel as though it is their responsibility to ensure that inventory management and tracking practices are held to a higher standard, and when such a standard is not met, customers should be offered the same product via guns.com with the difference in cost covered (regardless of whether it is purchased through the original retailer).Guns.com LLC

In the very rare instance where one of our selling dealers doesn't have the inventory, the order is cancelled. Since we allow our selling dealers to establish pricing, an item's pricing can fluctuate as inventory sells and new inventory becomes available. The $30 coupon is an invitation back for a better experience. You can add the firearm you're interested to your favorites. When there's a price drop, you'll receive an email notification, and you can apply your coupon at that point. I recently discovered Guns.com, and so I began purchasing firearms from them slowly. My first order, a Nighthawk Predator, was received in better shape than the pictures could show and included a manufacturer's bag that was not mentioned. Happy surprise. The pistol shoots as a Nighthawk should. My second, a first-generation Delta Elite, again exceeded my expectations and came with the (again unmentioned) original matching 1980's Colt box. Another happy surprise. So, I have only had positive interactions with this company since that first purchase. I read the largely negative reviews on the BBB page only after having made multiple purchases from Guns.com, and my experience differs wildly from those reviews.Guns.com LLC
