    I recently purchased a “certified” used firearm from GUNS.COM. The condition was listed as “very good” and the pictures showed minor wear. I spent over $500 with the FFL transfer fee.
    When I received the firearm it had a large crack in the length of the fore-grip. When I contacted customer service for the return and refund they stated the following:
    “Oct 31, 2024, 12:26 PM CDT
    Hello,
    Thank you for sending the transfer receipt. We will be sending the prepaid shipping label in a separate email.
    We understand that your expectations of the firearm's condition may differ from our assessment. We stand by our condition ratings and acknowledge that some wear and finish issues are common with used firearms. According to our policy, returns are subject to fees unless there is a mechanical malfunction”
    GUNS.COM referred to the crack in the stock, “some wear” and was not willing to refund the purchase amount. They refunded $365 which is minus 15% “restocking” fee and the $30 return shipping. Based on their response and handling of the matter I will not do business with GUNS.COM in the future.
    As a company that interacts with customers on a daily basis Guns.com demonstrates a lack of integrity, moral compass, and any resemblance of customer service.

    I had a situation with my order, they handled it quickly and efficiently with a very fair outcome would definitely continue to buy from this company and recommend this company to anyone!!

    I purchased a gun from them. They gave me a choice of local dealers to send it to & the one I chose wouldn’t do the transfer from them so they asked for a label to send it back. Guns.com charged me 25% of what the gun cost to send it back and they aren’t sending it to another dealer but instead just taking my money with me getting nothing in return. They are a total scam & we’re very rude the entire time & did nothing to try to fix their mistake. Zero Stars is what they deserve!!

    The salesman that helped us with our purchase using financing hugely ignored explaining the two types of "leasing" through they're credova partner. We were told is was a payment plan, he never said that, at the end of two years payments, we would not own the firearm. Never thought I had to check as all the verbiage was lease to own, explained to us as, different wording for long-term-loan. Should have learned after the first incident with them, when they sold us a Tara TM-9 (Glock knock off), after my entire family, children too, fired untold rounds through it that it was only manufactured to fire rubber bullets. My bad and lesson learned. If dealing with them, clarify wording. Apparently there are two types of financing which one is what had been explained to us and expected by us, the other what has happened. Now we owe more money and they keep taking payments monthly, apparently until we pay their "final" or send the gun back? I honestly cannot wrap my head around this. I know, read the fine print. When's the last time you did when dealing with a big company and persuasive salesman? Just be mindful of this encounter if you find yourself dealing with them because, I am not the only one.

    I purchased a gun at this site. 4 days later they canceled my order due to out of stock. However, they had the same product list for a much higher price price. If the product was not in stock, why take the order and why have it listed for a higher price, bait and switch?

    Bought a gun, they shipped it at an FFL different from the one I selected, over 7 hrs away. They refuse to do anything about it. Saying that I selected that one. Ridiculous… when I ordered, it gave me a choice between 5 nearby FFLs. How would I select 1 on my own 500 miles away? They are a terrible company and they have lost me as a customer.

    I recently had a disappointing experience with Guns.com that I feel compelled to share. I purchased a clip for my rifle, but unfortunately, I made an error in selecting the right one. The box was never opened; it remained completely intact.
    When I reached out to customer service hoping to exchange it for the correct item, they informed me that this wasn’t possible. This left me feeling frustrated and disappointed because now I’m just out of my money without any resolution.
    I’ve been a loyal customer over the years—having bought five or six guns and numerous accessories from them—but this recent encounter has really changed how I view their service. It’s disheartening when you’re treated poorly as someone who supports their business regularly.
    If you’re considering shopping here, be cautious! They do not offer exchanges on certain items nor provide refunds or credits under these circumstances. It’s unfortunate because I’ve always appreciated good customer service elsewhere; it’s what keeps customers coming back!
    In short: beware and stay away if you value your hard-earned cash!

    I just received the Sig Sauer P229 Elite, on which I made an offer and the seller accepted. The quality and condition exceeded my expectations and was in fact in “Very Good condition”. The buying and shipping process to my FFL was prompt and uncomplicated. This was my first used gun purchase and I must admit that I was pleasantly impressed with guns.com. I will be purchasing more collectible guns in the future. Thank you very much for the great service and honest analysis of the products you offer.

    100% STAY AWAY!!! Paid for a firearm, never received. Reached out and got a copy/paste email saying GUNS.COM automatically provides $5,000 in shipping insurance and that I unchecked the box. No insurance, no refund.
    How about reach out to seller, maybe shipping company? No. I unchecked the box.
    Where is the firearm? Is it concerning that I have tracking and can see where it has been sitting for a week? No. I unchecked the box.
    Refund the money and pursue with the seller and shipping company maybe together? No. I UNCHECKED THE BOX.
    By law is GUNS.COM correct? Not sure, I am researching. Are they right by facilitating a transaction which results in a "lost" firearm and my "lost" money? 100% NO.
    MORAL OF THE STORY; IF YOU WANT THE FIREARM, BUY IT SOMEWHERE ELSE. Even if I had checked the box, I still never would have received the firearm. It would have been a waste of my time ending with no firearm and maybe a possible refund AFTER chasing whatever rabbit that entails.
    I wonder if I HAD checked the box if they would pursue seller and shipper then? ?? I guess we will never know.
    STAY AWAY!!!!!!
    Maybe GUNS.COM will copy/paste the same "terms & conditions" in the response here so the next unlucky customer KNOWS to stay away!

    Being a firearm for the first time can be a very nerve racking experience, but the folks at guns.com made it seem less and smooth. A tremendous job done by all. I will be coming back to them for any future needs I have in the field.
