1 starI was verbally harassed and verbally cussed out by a previous ** staff member at Life Time Clarendon. In the process of investigating my issue, Life Time treated me less than their employee, the manager there at the time was cold and uncaring to my concerns, and Life Time continues to respond by deflecting and never holding themselves accountable for the months of trauma mentally they have caused me because they banned me for leaving a few minutes late, without ever warning me directly that I was doing anything to violate any policy. They never gave me any due process to understand why I was being banned then they lie and say I created an unsafe environment. YOUR employee was the one who followed me, called me a b**** and cussed me out making me fear for my own safety and ** has the actual nerve to say I created an unsafe environment! Absolutely ridiculous lies. They lied about what happened to cover up how they actually treated me, while I have emails and evidence that show how they did not properly address my earlier concerns and put me at risk of harm because their employer had serious ANGER issues which I had raised concerns about multiple times. Instead they blamed me and banned me for THEIR employees failures even though I was the one being harassed. After bringing my concerns up, the manager actually dismissively told me over the phone she was a good employee no one has made a complaint. She dismissed my anxieties and concerns and mental health saying well trauma is a BIG word to useNot a SINGLE APOLOGY for what I was experiencing and for the experience they created for me. Not a single acknowledgment of how they messed up. Yet they say on ****** they want to create positive experiences for everyone, guess not if youre Asian? They hire the worst people who will NEVER take accountability for anything. I have additional trauma now from the way they treated me and lied on ****** reviews saying they addressed my issues. 1 star*********, ** *********** a family man, businessman, and Christianand from personal experience, I can tell you Life Time is all about corporate greed. They dont care about customers or employees. Ive been a member since 2023 and recently started training with someone I chose specifically for his physique and bodybuilding experience.Recently, my trainer told me he had just been fired as I was waiting for our session to begin. ******* then told me my trainer had moved on, implying it was his choice. I had prepaid $3,000 for training and am owed 18 sessions. They now claim I only have 14, denying the Buy 4 Get 1 Free promotion I signed up under.I declined the offer to switch trainers and asked for a refund so I could continue training with my coach elsewhere. ******* responded via TEXT that I wouldnt be getting one. I tried to speak with a manager but was told ****, the personal training manager, was on vacation. When I finally spoke to him, he said the fine print states I paid to train with LIFE TIME, not my trainer. He said theyd only refund me after I completed the remaining 14 sessions and wasnt satisfied.I said if they wanted to act in good faith, theyd refund my money, let me try a new trainer, and if I liked them, Id buy more sessions. **** declined. So their only refund option would be to make me use a trainer who wouldnt get paid? That feels like using employees as a human shield.After several calls and emails, I reached ***, the assistant manager. She and **** both admitted most people assume prepaying is for that specific trainer. *** said the *** **** would call mehe never did. She later emailed saying they wont issue a ********* if you want a gym that fires your trainer without notice, misleads you, hides behind fine print, and keeps your money, this is the place. ********** in ********* is half the price, offers more, and actually respects its staff and members.Review fromChristine C

1 starI joined Life Time for fitness, community, and wellness. What I got instead was intimidation, physical contact from another member, and a total lack of accountability from staff and corporate alike.After asking another member to clean chalk off a barbell, I was mocked, physically touched without my consent, and intimidated by both the member and her husband. Other members witnessed the incident and got staff involved. The responding police officer did not wear a body cam, failed to file a report, and told me the other woman felt threatened and that I shouldnt have said anything. Life Time staff allowed the other member to continue working out and treated me as if I were the problem.I documented everything. I emailed club management, Life Time corporate twice, and the CEO. I received no meaningful responseonly a form letter through the Better Business Bureau that stated, This matter is closed per Life Time and we will not talk about this matter going forward.This is not how safety works. This is not how accountability works.The club manager gave me incorrect policy information, ignored gym etiquette violations, and told me that if I felt unsafe, I should get a restraining orderknowing full well no police report had been ********** Times own Fitness Floor Code of Conduct and Gym Etiquette Guidelines prohibit bags on the floor, use of chalk, and aggressive behavior. Yet none of those policies were enforced.I deserve to feel safe in a gym I pay to use. I have a right to train without fear or anxiety.Instead, Life Time corporate chose silence. 2 starsI joined this location specifically because it offered morning cycling classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday a schedule that worked with my professional obligations. Without adequate notice or communication, the club has since discontinued both the Monday and Wednesday classes, effectively removing two-thirds of the value that initially justified my membership.Its deeply frustrating that Im expected to give notice to cancel, yet the club feels no obligation to provide notice before significantly changing the services I signed up for. 1 starIm writing this review to express my personal, in-depth experience of 6+ years with this establishment as it also relates to other people Ive spoken with about these occurrences. Therefore, may this aid in bringing these issues to an indefinite halt. Ive been an employee of this companies Life Time Fitness Cypress facility for about 6 years; whereas, Ive endured many derogatory harassments and discrimination circumstances with one of my previous colleagues and the leadership team within the *******. Thus, after an abundance of documents and failed investigations to protect my mental and integrity, I departed from the company in October, 2024. However, though I dont work there anymore, I return as a consumer to get my hair done by one of the other hairstylist there. Recently, Ive received a suspicious call from the Lead General of the establishment notifying me of some false allegations made against me during my visits to the club at the Cypress LifeSpa. She claimed I was making the whole staff, including the LifeSpa Leader, uncomfortable with my visits; however, her solution was asking me to schedule my hair appointments on particular days when the hairstylist, that harassed me during my employment with this company, wasnt working or during her shifts. This demand was made, based on the alleged discomfort of a stylist who is not even my service provider, feels overtly discriminatory and harassing. As a paying customer who has consistently supported the spa, I have never been made aware of any ********* my humble opinion, this is completely unprofessional and uncalled for as I dont converse with her at all and, while working there, there were PLENTY of times when I was told to do my job while under some sort of distress and I did just that. I have been a loyal member of Life Time Fitness for several years, but recent events have caused me significant distress and concern regarding their business practices and customer service. Despite multiple attempts to resolve my issues directly with the company, they have not taken appropriate actions to address my concerns, and they have now escalated the situation by banning me from the gym.Summary of Issues:1. Decline in Facility Conditions and Safety Concerns: Over the past several months, I have witnessed a significant decline in the cleanliness and maintenance of the Champions location. Equipment remains unrepaired, the facility is not adequately cleaned, and safety hazards (such as wet areas without proper signage) have been ongoing issues. I have raised these concerns with management, yet no improvements have been made.2. Serious Incidents and Safety Risks: A large brawl occurred in the facility recently, resulting in someone being seriously injured. Additionally, there have been multiple incidents of car break-ins in the parking lot, which raises further safety concerns for members.3. Unprofessional Conduct by Staff: After voicing my concerns, I was approached by a Life Time trainer named ***** who displayed unprofessional, antagonistic behavior towards me. When I called to reinstate my membership, the representatives were not only unhelpful but also downright rude. Shockingly, I was hung up on twice during our conversation. This behavior clearly indicates that Life Time Fitness does not value its customers and is solely focused on financial gain. I expected a higher level of professionalism and customer service from such a reputed organization. 1 starI want to share my experience with Life Time Fitness, particularly the ************ location, to warn others about their discriminatory and unprofessional practices. My membership was wrongfully put on hold following a completely false accusation from another member, claiming I was following women around the gym. This baseless accusation was made without any evidence and appears to stem from jealousy, as this individual has expressed envy toward my success and lifestyle.These claims are entirely false and make no sense. I have a girlfriend and many female friends at the gym who know me well and can vouch for my respectful behavior. Additionally, I have a list of over 20 active members who are willing to speak on my behalf and confirm that the accusations are untrue.Despite providing this evidence, ********** Member Relations team has been dismissive and unwilling to evaluate the situation fairly. The representative handling my case outright refused to consider my evidence or speak with my witnesses, rudely stating, We dont have time to talk to your friends. This level of unprofessionalism has left me feeling disrespected and unheard, especially from a company that markets itself as community-focused.The management at the ************ location is notorious for creating a toxic environment. During my time there, I witnessed constant staff turnover at the front desk and bar, with employees frequently quitting due to poor management practices. On many occasions, the bar was completely closed because they couldnt retain staff. This lack of professionalism and consistency creates a hostile environment for members.Life Time Fitness claims to value inclusivity and community, but my experience has been the opposite. 1 starUnacceptable and Disrespectful Treatment at Life Time Fitness (Canton Location)Today, January 2nd, at 5:05 PM EST, I experienced one of the worst examples of customer service at ******************** in ******. Earlier, I called to ask why my membership rate increased from $90 to $110 for one person. The representative claimed it was because I had removed my adult kids from the family membership, implying I was being penalized for managin my own account.And keep adding or taking them out.Just FYI, I was paying the fees with putting and taking them with no complains .Frustrated, I went to the location to get a better explanation. Instead of being met with understanding or professionalism, I encountered rudeness and outright disrespect from the staff. *******, who claimed to be the manager, and ****, who appeared to have made changes to my account, were dismissive from the start.When I expressed my frustration, they accused me of yellingeven though I was simply asking valid questions. Then ******* said, You know what? Im canceling your account. I told her I did not want to cancel my membership, but **** backed her up, saying they could do it because it is private property. They even threatened that if I called the police, I would be the one kicked out.This happened in front of other members, adding to my humiliation. The way they treated me was appallingdisrespectful, degrading, and completely unprofessional. It was not just me; this shows how poorly they treat people in general.Life Time Fitness, this is no way to run a business or treat human beings. Customers deserve fairness, respect, and dignitynot to be harassed, embarrassed, or publicly ************* anyone considering a membership here, be aware of how poorly they handle their customers and concerns.
