  ************-They are clean and have nice amenities, but they are racist, and it's a boys club. The men can take pictures and will follow the women around making them feel uncomfortable. You can tell people, but it happens so much. What can they really do? You cant tell a man to stop following you, even to your car or that he is making you uncomfortable, because as a women, you are wrong and suppose to deal with it in this type of environment. They can put their hands on the women without repercussions. You report it, theyll cancel your membership. As someone who tried to keep to herself just workout and mind my business they want to cancel my membership because I reported Assault. Which is absolutely fine. This place has disgusted me. I felt my time coming to an end. I could no longer have a good workout. From what I've heard, if you are black and you report any REAL issues they will cancel your membership. Even when it comes to your kids. Thats why you barely see us there, or not for long. Its not safe. The last Gm was trying to make women preform sexual acts, and instead of firing him, they just moved him. The women had to get a new job for her safety. Which upset alot of white women.They don't care. It's a boys club. I started going here because I thought it would be safer, it is, for creepy men and husbands that hate their wives, not women who actually want to workout in a safe environment. Its not safe. I haven't met one young black women there that said they were comfortable. The older black people pretty much fought to be there and bite their tongues, but they knowww it's racist. They even silently segregate the hot tubs. I was told multiple times I was in the "whites" hot tubs. I operate in love, so my time in this dark space has come to an end, but ****** were learned. I have met some nice individuals, but everything happens for a reason. All the stories make sense. Don't let those people disrespect or lie on you because they will most definitely try it.

  So, what is the demographic? We pay over $200 dollars for the membership, and we are not welcome at the ******** location because of the demographic! How do you get a membership but can't go work out at any location? So, since we belong to a lower rate club then, we are not welcome at this location? You want us to pay additional $200 plus just to work out there. Even when we were told we could go to any location. This is very disappointing.

  I am certainly happy that we have a new Life Time Gym in ****** VA, however, the management has been unresponsive to some suggestions about improving lap swimming. The swim lanes are too narrow for athletic swimmers. We are unable to do breast stroke or butterfly without hitting the lane lines and especially without hitting a second swimmer in the lane. Please provide a lane that is wider for these kinds of swims.Secondly, I have left two valuable pieces of clothing at the gym and they NEVER turn up in their lost and found. One staff told me they keep them for 2 weeks then donate them and another manager said they throw most of it away. What is going on here? It is irresponsible both for ME to leave my things but ALSO for Life Time to not keep track of lost and found with a sound policy. If there is a name on an item then it would not be difficult for a staff person to look that person up in the database and contact them. This is so disappointing that I have reduced the amount of visits I have at the gym!

  I paid an elite membership through Aaptiv for the sole purpose of using it at Lifetime ******************, ** since they're part of the Aaptiv program. The same day I paid I was told by Lifetime staff l would need to be placed on a wait list. Not sure when or if I will hear back. They should not be part of the Aaptiv membership program if they can just decide not to honor a paid membership. Their business model is of FOMO and exclusivity. Theyre definitely not at capacity and telling customers, who have paid, that they need to wait to use their membership, regardless if third party or not, is weird and unacceptable.

  Had an appointment for full highlights with ***** and it was a terrible experience. If I were able to leave a 0 star review I would. I showed her a picture of what i wanted and my hair doesnt look like anything near that. At the end, I went back three times for her to fix it just for her to make it even worse. I believe box dye would look better than getting it done here. Doesnt seem interested in her work or her customers experience. Would not recommend this place at all.

  I would never support a gym that tries to fake credentials and mock people who require 7 years to achieve a doctorate degree. Lifetime fitness has a T-shirt for their personal trainers with *** in big letters, tiny letters under say dynamic personal trainer. It is illegal in most states to claim to provide physical therapy without a license, however the *** acronym is not so protectedjust rude and misleading.

  My husband and I belong to and PAY FULL PRICE to the location in *** 1 block from ************. It is a Club that's run in an amateurish way. Nobody knows what's happening. At least once/week there is no heat. Last weekend, the entire weekend there was no heat, no hot water, no sauna, no spa. Today there was no heat and no Spa.I think it's one of the WORST clubs I have ever been a member of.

  I would not join again. Joined for pickleball and all was well for two months. I could go and play, and always find a game just about anytime of day. Facility was perfect for two months. They would fill up occasionally but could still get a game daily.This week they changed the times for pickleball with no notice. Removing almost 80% of the open play slots or restricting them by age, level, ect.Now I am unable to play with the new highly restricted schedule and still have to pay them $200 for the next month even though courts will not be available to me.Felt like it was a reasonable request to cancel my membership without having to pay for next month since they are the ones that made the gym unavailable to **** have spoke to corporate and they are unwilling to do anything and said I must pay the $200 to cancel even though I had no say or notice of schedule changes. Dont think that is the right way to treat your members IMO.

  My time at Life Time Fitness in *******, **, was a rollercoasterfirst as an employee and then as a customer. Misleading information and mistreatment prompted my swift resignation. Shockingly, the mistreatment persisted as a paying customer.This establishment falls short of professional standards for a gym. Consider this a heads-up to othersmy experience may not be an isolated incident.The leadership will lie to your face and gaslight you when you bring up anything directly.
