      DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. At first we were very excited about this new gym opening up in March. I had told many of my clients and friends in the area. I had joined their waitlist and got the email. It mentioned the rates making it sound like a great deal of the more members you can get to join. So I had talked 6 ppl into it and we were all in. So I emailed ***** back and asked the following questions:Is the initiation fee a 1 time charge?Would the monthly membership dues be $489 for my whole group of 5-7 ppl? (4+ according to the email)Would we be able to pay separately?***** failed to answer my questions in the email so I gave a call and found out from the other associate it was family members only in the same household . At NO WHERE did it mention this in the email. This was such a bad sales scam just to lure ppl in. I had then talked to the manager **** of Irvine to see if he could honor what was written in the email for my group because it was very misleading. He decided to argue with me saying that people don't have to join and thought this whole situation was funny. This was unacceptable very unprofessional and bad business practice. I will let EVERYONE I know. I will not support an unethical business such as Life Time. Based on other reviews they know how to make their members unhappy and there will be many more. Give it a few years and they will be going out of business due to their pathetic business practice. SHAME ON THEM.

      1) Unethical business practise 2) Cheated by lifetime and wrongly charged for the months not used In the month of Aug last week, they put me on Hold for membership due to some maintenance activities. I specifically told them NOT to REMOVE THE HOLD without my permission. They removed the hold without letting me know and charged me for Sep-2022 and Oct-2022 wrongly. It is the Lifetime representative's fault to remove the hold without my knowledge. This has been the practise of this Life time locaiton in the past as well and disrespect customer and wrongly/overcharge

      Yesterday, I went to Liftime Fitness and put my 3 year old daughter into the ************ around 6PM. After my workout, I went to the ************ to pick up my daughter at 7:15PM, but nobody could find my daughter, I opened the door of the restroom and found out my daughter was cring so hard on the floor by herself! I asked a staff when did my daughter go into the restroom, she responded it was 6:45pm during her shift change. I was shocked that my daughter was cring inside by herself without any supervision for 30 MINS!!! Later, the staff declined that my daughter was inside for that long time. I asked to check the camara, but was told that only general manager had access to that. The Staff called the general manager and said the general manager lived closeby, was on her way and would be here shortly.We waited there for 40 mins, an woman with all black clothes finally came to the child center and said something to the staff, then she left. We did not realize that woman was the general manager at that time. We knew it after we checked her LinkedIn profile photo.Then we waited for another 10 mins, another woman came to us, saying she is the manager on duty, she told us the general manager would not be here tonight, we had to wait until next morning.On the next day, we called liftime, was told that the general manager would not be in the office for at least 1 week!We are so angry about their manner to deal with it!

      Most unethical fitness company. 30 day notice of cancellation IN PERSON. There is literally nobody at the front desk to cancel during mornings. Seriously, why cant I do it online, its 2022. Also, the magazine subscription I specifically canceled through the terms of service, still charged me the next month. That has to be illegal or something.

      I cant believe this is happening. I spent couple weeks in ********, ** where I went to life time gym. I was told in person since I want to use the gym for few weeks they will open my membership and close it immediately. This way I will get charged just once for the rest of the month which was $96.13. They assured me that I will not be charged next month and that I dont have to worry about anything else. I asked specifically if I must close my membership in person. They assured me that my membership is closed, and I dont have to worry about anything. My temporary card will be good just for few weeks. Today I noticed $149.00 charge. Called the gym, they seemed to be amused and said that manager will contact me (never happened). Called corporate they assured me that this dispute will be taken care of today by local manager (never happened). The thing is, my membership is still open and I have been told if I want to close it I need to submit an application! I feel like they stole money from me, and they dont care.
