I have had a very positive experience with LTF Palm Valley as a whole UNTIL I discovered I was still being charged $190 a month for training sessions I cancelled in MARCH. That's over $1000 that's been stolen from me. I've tried contacting them to rectify this, but keep being told someone would leave a message for the ONE person who can actually fix this, who also happens to be a person I can't reach directly. I hope this gets fixed and refunded today so I can come back and delete this review. If it's still up, they haven't fixed it.

Ive been a member for years on and off but after a month of not using the gym and moving to a new city I called to cancel my membership but now they require you to do it in person. I dont even live there anymore! After finally getting the run around I emailed someone and now they tell me they require 30 days to cancel!?! this is robbery. They are trying to prevent me from canceling my membership and now charging me for an extra month that Im not even there. Its Theft and should be prosecuted!!

I am disabled and over 65. I have a renew Active membership with Lifetime. All I do there is play Pickleball which I have been playing there for months. All of a sudden an email went out to all Renew Active members only that we would have to pay $80.00 per month to play pickleball. I feel very strongly that they are discriminating against Renew Active members who are either disabled or over 65 and on *********

I have been a loyal member for 10 years. During the pandemic, I did not visit the club at all due to safety concerns. At that time, I was persuaded by their team to keep my membership with a promise that they would not increase my membership fee. I continued to pay my membership dues, even though I was unable to use your facilities, based on that assurance. However, a few months after I became an active member again, I received a notice of a significant increase (more than 50%) in my membership fee. This is not acceptable, and I feel that they have not kept your promise to me as a loyal customer. The management team has significant issues at this location.

The false advertisement on the there Website. i was formal member until i moved to out of Ga and since i am back to Ga and i decided to join the membership again. i saw the price on the website included my 27 years old daughter and when i get to the location, We need to pay two different membership because she is 27 years old. And the website shows 14 and above there is no age limit for the child in the website.. i was so embarrassed in front of my family. this is a false advertisement that has to be corrected..

They have a policy in place that actively discriminates against children with disabilities and this policy was never shared until today but is being fully enforced. My child has autism and despite multiple notifications of this and requests for them to call me down if hes getting upset (because he is unable to regulate his emotions which is a big part of his diagnosis) have failed to do so. In fact they have made me feel horrible by saying that parents were complaining about his behavior. As if having a child who is not nuerotypical isnt hard enough now you are going to have staff tell in two separate instances that parents basically dont like that hes autistic?? ******* the so called manager who seems more concerned with staying stationary and stuffing her face instead of actually walking around managing refused to make any accommodations at all. This as well as this policy is actually a direct violation of *** according to my attorney. Additionally, their policy is not something my child is even capable of following (again never mentioned until today - not at sign up nor during the two times I had to pick up my son early for his behavior). ******* also was rude while I was speaking to her regarding this and took a call while I was mid sentence. She didnt even apologize despite me audibly saying that was a rude thing to do. They have no one there trained to work with any child with any disability yet promote on their website an inclusive environment for all. Im paying $40 a month to not even be able to have my child use the location because he is now suspended for 2 days (per the policy) for having autism. We are now having to drive 45 minutes to the North location where my son has no issues at all. Ag this point even if they did remedy this situation I still would feel completely uncomfortable having anyone in the South location anywhere near him at this point in time. Also when I asked for corporate number I was given Souths **** number not the ** one

BBB representative,I am contacting you with a complaint about:Lifetime Fitness **************************************************************** My granddaughter used the facility and paid an excessive monthly amount/month while she worked in ********* last year. She attends college at ****************************** in ********* **. When she returned to school in January she asked for a maintenance membership that costs about $35.00/month. On February 1st I realized that this was occurring using my credit card and I contacted Lifetime Fitness and asked them to cancel the agreement because she has no plans to return to ********* after her May graduation. I was advised that I could not cancel the charge because I was not the user. My granddaughter contacted them and requested cancellation. My card was charged an additional $35 in February and I put a stop payment to my AMEX card provider. on March 14th I was contacted by Lifetime Fitness and advised that my payment was not received and my AMEX card was not valid. I called on March 15th and had to pay an additional $15 because the cancellation was put on hold for 30 days. The Lifetime Fitness representative cited that the written agreement details of their agreement with my granddaughter was not followed properly. I was upset by their unwillingness to cancel the extra February payment and $15 fee even though I hathought the membership was cancelled in early February. Their policy and attitude about how to cancel seems unreasonable to me and is certainly onerous. I would never recommend their facility to anyone: membership is extremely expensive compare to other facilities locally available and attitude about billing cancellation is very unfair and disrespectful! ***************************** Cell: ************

Let me start off by saying, that I am a 63-year-old African-******** male. I joined ******* Lifetime Fitness in ****. My motivation to join was driven by my desire to relieve job-related stress (I work as a commissioned corps pharmacist). On Saturday 2/4/23 I arrived at the gym before 7:30 A.M. to do my weekly 30-minute ride on the stationary bike. During the last minute of my ride a White man approached me. He identified himself as the manager and knew my first and last name. His complaint was that I was breathing too loud and if I could keep it down, because he has been receiving complaints from member(s) on Saturdays. I told him, that was not possible (I train at 80-90% effort, averaging anywhere from ***** mph). I suggested, that I could start my ride when the gym opens (5:00 A.M. on the weekends), but he suggested that I find a bike facing the wall or use the spin class room. I have never received a complaint from management during my nearly 19 years of membership. My questions are:1. Why didnt he give me the benefit of the doubt in lieu of my complaint-free membership?2. Why did he immediately take the side of the member(s) who were complaining? The only thing I could think of is that the personal attack was racially motivated (working out while *****). When I told my daughter she became very upset and wanted me to terminate her membership. She also felt the attack had racial undertones. This event was extremely traumatizing. This country is deeply divided and situations like this dont help ** to bridge the divide.

Management at both gym and corporate level are condescending and rude to employees and members. When asked who these "managers" report to at both gym and corporate levels, they both answered that they report to nobody. There is zero accountability for customer service, honesty or ethics. Does the **Level have any clue what goes on at the gyms or are they only concerned with the profit margin and real estate acquisition?
