Atrocious experience. They sent us pictures of the wrong child. After two hours with their customer service representatives trying to get them to send us pictures of the correct child, I had to give up and get back to work. Their customer service reps * after the first hour * refused to pass the matter on to a supervisor * and by the end of that second hour I still had never managed to contact one. It wasn't until the next day that the matter finally * maybe * got resolved (we'll see when the photos actually arrive). Their website is also absolutely awful to navigate * but that's a totally different issue.

*************. Takes days to upload portrait proofs, no customer service, the representatives and account specialist are completely unresponsive to calls and emails, and the photographers are inexperienced. I would never recommend Lifetouch to any school or family wanting portraits. They have sincerely declined and she consider completely shutting down, coming up with a better business model, and rebranding themselves!

Lifetouch is horrible. The ONLY reason they manage to stay in business is because they have monopolized the school photo niche. If you want your kids yearbook pictures to share with family, Lifetouch is likely your only option (or some other weasel company that has the photo contract for your school)I ordered items from my son's senior year (photos and couple other "trinkets"). They sent some of the items but 1/3 of the order was missing. I called their 1800 number for help on the order. I gave the **** the order number. He couldn't find my order that way. Then he asked my name and email. I gave him both and still he couldn't find the order. He put me on hold for 15 minutes, still couldn't find any order info. (I had the email for the order with number and itemized receipt)Finally the first rep gave up and said he needed to transfer me to "a different that can help with this kind of problem". But don't worry I won't have to repeat all the info. After getting transferred, of course, none of what I already said was transferred to the new department, so I had to repeat all of the info. The second rep never said he found my order details. He asked me to read the entire email order and tell me what was missing!!! So I guess the second rep also couldn't find my order but wouldn't say so. At this point, I really didn't care about the missing items. I was more interested in how deep the rabbit hole goes. Long story short... do not use Lifetouch for anything. Take the pictures yourself or order digital prints if you have the option. Of the items that did arrive the photos are printed on very low quality paper. It barely feels like photo paper. Would give 0 stars if possible.

If I could rate a negative 100, I would. I dread using this company but I want actual school pictures. I wish I could send my own photographer than to use theirs. I have two boys, currently 5th and 2nd graders. Last school year, my 5th grader was sent home with his brother's pictures. I used the online chat, I was told they would mail the correct pictures, never received anything. One month later, I use the chat again, I'm told the same, they will mail it out. Two weeks later, I follow-up, STILL no pictures have been mailed. After complaining how horrible their customer service was and asked to speak with a supervisor, they granted my a refund and mailed my picutures for free. That was the only thing they have done good. This school year, I'm trying to pre-order pictures before picture day, I see that my 5th grader's profile picture has his brother's picture and he (the 2nd grader doesn't even attend that school anymore) so I get on the chat again to make sure they don't mess up my pictures and the person on the chat tells me that I should let the teacher know so that the teacher can explain to the photographer and upload the correct pictures with the correct name. How does this make sense, I just don't understand. The teacher has nothing to do with their errors. That is not the teacher's responsibility. That is an internal issue. They are EXSPENSIVE and their customer service sucks! They NEVER allow you to speak with a supervisor. They don't provide with any numbers. Everything about them and how they operate is just bad business.I do not recomend using them. Please avoid them if you can.

Horrible online ordering. Doesn't work, can't check boxes, no customer service. Enough said, there has got to be better out there, this company is crap!

We have children at two different schools and Lifetouch charges different prices for the exact same product or packages. This seems like price gouging to me, I am not sure why this Company thinks it is ok to charge a higher price for the same product at different schools. Unfortunately this is way that Corporate America is treating customers now. Just really shows a total disrespect to families.

One is too many stars for the lack of customer service. The order gets messed up, you have no one to contact. How do you get a refund when they do not send an order. I would avoid this company no matter who you are. They have messed my pictures up or not even sent an order.

2 events, award ceremony and graduation. **********, ** Location of Lifetouch. Award Ceremony takes place on 5/17/24. Pictures uploaded finally on 7/1/24 and only 130 photos uploaded. This was about a 2 hour ceremony. I watched the photographer take multiple shots of everything happening. 130 photos that were mostly duplicates and hundreds of missing photos. I have emailed about the missing pictures and as of 8/8/24 there has been no new photos uploaded. I am in the process of receiving my refund of prepaid credits. However, the pictures of my son that I was expected to have is nonexistent. I'm glad that I have the few that I have from my cellphone.Graduation: 5/21/24. Pics uploaded on 5/28/24. 460 pictures uploaded. Same photographer from awards day. I notice that the pictures uploaded are not consistent but didn't think much more than that. Now with knowing how the awards day ceremony pictures were not complete. I'm thinking the same with the graduation pictures. There is no way there was only 460 pictures for graduation. I think the photographer that was sent needs to have more training. This was incompetence. These were life events in families lives and now there are incomplete photos. Unacceptable. Do better for future events.

There are too many companies under the Lifetouch umbrella - Shutterfly, Photoday, etc. and it's difficult to find out who to call when you have an issue. I wanted digital photographs of my daughter's high school graduation and a technical error selected the wrong print. I was told Photoday does not have an actual customer service and ****************** did not have access to the prints. They should rethink who they partner with if they can't even get access to the product they are affiliated with. I would encourage everyone to avoid this company at all cost. They are terrible.

The Lifetouch manager on *********** is very disrespectful and should be fired. My son is graduating and he has autism. I wanted a memorable photo of my son for his special day. The manager as I was on the phone with him told me if I would shut up and stop talking when he talking I could know where to come in the store to take the photos. Upon arrival I get to the area he at the front desk with some customer throws his hands in my face and says here pick a background. I was shocked at how rude he continued to act. He then stated Im not photographing you. I call the shots and Im the manager. He works for Lifetouch photos inside of JCPenney in *********** ******** on ***********. Im filing a police report because he cost me extra money to go out and find someone to take my son photos. He should be fired immediately. His name is ***** and he refused to give his last name. We are going to small claims court.
