    Awful service! Nothing short of a Ponzi scheme just because you buy a ticket does not guarantee you a flight. And they will not notify you ahead of time, even though they would require you too. I cant believe businesses are allowed to operate in this way. It makes me sick. You should never fly Suncountry. They dont care about you.

    Sun Country Airlines is no longer the carrier it once was, dependable and service oriented. My family has had a long standing loyalty to Sun Country for the last 15 years, never being ****** concerned about cancelations or flight timeliness. My wife, daughter, and I book several trips through Sun Country each year and unfortunately things took a turn a complete 180 in the last year of what we once knew as a reliable airline. Recently my daughter had her flight Flight SY208 between ******** ** and *********** ** cancelled due to unavailable aircraft. The fiasco cost my daughter an additional $650 dollars not to mention missing a day of work.. On another occasion my wife had her Flight SY1701 between *********** MN and ************** delayed for several hours due to unavailable flight crew. This fiasco cost my wife to miss an appointment and unused hotel stay resulting in $1500 of expenses These are just recent examples of the Sun Country poor experience. We do not blame the hard working ticket agents, ground staff, flight staff and other supporting functions. The blame falls squarely on the ************* and the Sun Country Executive Leadership Team for not having the resources in place to properly manage customer expectations. For this reason we are switching to another carrier for our future travels. Hope this message gets out to other Sun Country Travelers. Beware of an airline in freefall! Thank you, **

    This airline is the worst airline I have ever flown on. On June 17th, I was leaving from ********************************************** headed to *********, **. The plane wasn't even in the air a good 20 minutes when the Flight Attendant announces that the plane had to be routed back to the ************************************. The Pilot then makes an announcement stating that he had to turn the plane around and head back to the airport in ********* due to the wings/flappers on the plane wasn't retracting, basically met wasn't operating!!!! Ok, so at that moment, I sat there in my seat and realized what that met and started to think of the plane could of possibly went down. This was a scary moment indeed. So, after arriving back to the airport and getting off the plane, all passengers were told that the flight was cancelled, a refund would be issued, a complimentary hotel stay and a food voucher of $25 for all passengers and there was no other flight to *********, ** until Thursday, June 20th, 2024. This was unacceptable as a lot of us had to return back to work and was stranded until that Thursday, June 20th and Sun Country Airlines only provided 1 night stay at the hotel and 1 food voucher for $25 for that one night which was unacceptable and they should of covered our stay and food voucher for the entire stay for the inconvenience until we were able to leave out on that Thursday. What kind of airline that would let a plane go in the air without completing proper maintenance check on the aircraft? What kind of airline that doesn't partner with any other airlines just in case of delayed /cancels flights to get their customers where they need to be without them spending additional money? I also contacted Sun Country Airlines customer service with my complaint, and they weren't any help. I will never fly Sun Country again and I'm warning anyone who reads this review, take heed and fly with a better and larger airline company. Worse experience I ever had with an airline.

    This was the worst airline experience I have ever had. Our flight was delayed for 3 hours and we missed our connecting flight. The flight desk hid in the back so no one could ask questions or figure out solutions. They didnt scan our tickets once we finally boarded and they confused our flight with another flight so we sat in a sweltering plane while they tried to figure out who was on the wrong plane.Was on hold for 45 min and got disconnected. Had to call again, finally got through and put on another flight the next day. Got to the airport. That flight was delayed for another 3 hours. Missing two days of our vacation.

    Poor and greedy airlines. I had to cancel our flight due to in-law ICU illness 12 days in advanced. They charged $99/passenger to cancel, and gave rest as a flight credit. If they are making me fly them in the future, why cant they give me a full credit. What a greedy airlines. I learnt my ****** not to book future flights with them.

    This business is terrible. My flight was delayed 5 hrs, then 6, then to the next day. When I went to the gate to check in for my latest flight, they said I wasn't on the flight and the flight was full. They then said that I was supposed to call to tell them if I want a refund or to choose my new flight. This was never communicated at all in the emails sent. I assumed I was on the flight the next day because the emails said this is your latest flight update. There was nothing that stated I needed to call. Also, this business doesn't have enough staff. Multiple times when I went to the ticket counter at ***********, there was no agent. Mind you it was 3 hours before the flight. The same agent that checked my in was the same agent that did the boarding process, and she was late. We didn't start boarding until 15 minutes after our scheduled boarding time. A $50 flight voucher and one free hotel night does not cover the money and time I wasted waiting to get home. I want my money!

    Today (6/24/24) my and I had a scheduled flight to ********* from ***********. We arrived to seating area at 2:15pm for a 2:34 pm flight. Saw or heard no boarding. They made no announcements of final boarding. The plane departed early 2:31 without warning. The staff member just shrugged us off like its no big deal. So we had to stay overnight, wait, spend more, etc.. to get home.

    Very unreliable airlines. I had two flights cancelled within one week without a reason. They are very difficult to deal with. They dont help you rebook another flight. Basically you are on your own. They give you a meal vaucher of 10$ for the canceled flight. They also lost my bag and havent made any efforts to find it or to offer me an insensitive.

    Sun country has an abysmal track record of on time flights, in the span of one week and 2 flights with them I had 6 delays, the only thing that rivals their inability to have their flights on time is their **** poor customer service, I would highly recommend walking over ever booking with this company as you would probably arrive earlier.

    I must express my deep disappointment with this company and their customer service. It's truly disheartening to see how they operate. It's unacceptable that they can take people's hard-earned money without any consequences. My experience, involving a $400 payment without a corresponding refund, has left me dismayed and frustrated. I want to emphasize that I will never consider doing business with them again. It's essential for others to be aware of such practices, and I hope this issue can be addressed appropriately.
