    On the morning of my return flight after I had checked in I was notified that my flight was cancelled and to call the **************** number. The flight was not cancelled for weather. I waited for about 30 minutes and then was told that the next available flight from my destination was Friday. It was Monday, I told the rep that I had to return on the same day, or even the next day, and he put me on hold. Then he told me I could catch a same-day flight from a location 250 miles from where I was. I told him that made no sense. He said the only thing he could do for me was refund me the $56 that I had paid for my flight, which he did. I asked how could that possibly be fair? I am actually stranded 450 away from home. He was not empowered to do anything else. I ended up booking with a different airline for $350 one way. When I complained to Sun Country they said they could not make exceptions to their policy. My thought is: Their policy is classist, racist, and self serving. What values does this company hew to? If I was a person with no resources I would have been completely devastated. I will never fly with them again and I will warn everyone I know never to. I will also be filing a complaint to ************************* and the **** regardless of policy, this is unconscionable.

    My developmentally disabled daughter was taken off the airplane 7/10/23. She had anxiety/panic before going through TSA and I believe she was flagged from this. She took one of her to go medications and was sleepy shortly after.. She is very polite and doesn't ever want to break any rules.

    Less than 1 star. 7/9/2023 We are traveling home from *** to *** and our flight was delayed due to weather. There was absolutely no communication or transparency from Sun Country(**) (***) to the passengers on this flight what was going on. They boarded us at 11 AM, ready to take off, but then brought us back to the gate stating due to weather they could not get access to a route. All of this was okay until we got back to the gate and off-boarded the plane. From 12pm-8pm we had zero communication. At 8 pm the gate agents finally stated that no planes would go out 7/9 and all passengers would have to one back at 7 AM 7/10 to get re-checked in. On 7/10 my family got to ticketing at 6:40 AM and we were there before the ** agents; there was no one to help check in guests luggage, no kiosk, nothing, and there was a line of ppl waiting. We waited until 7:20 AM before anyone showed up. The ticket stayed our flight was at 11 AM but the ** website stated departure 1 PM. Everyone went back to the same gate from the precious gate and no communication until 11 AM. There were no agents at the gate from 7AM to 11 AM. The airport paged the agents throughout this timeframe. When they did come up, it ended up the 12PM flight for 7/10 boarded and all of the passengers from the day before were yet again delayed with zero communication on when wed leave ***. I am writing this review while still stranded in ***; it is 7/10 12:44 PM ET and we still have zero understanding of what will happen to us or when we will leave. My family and I have been in this airport for over ************************************************************************ should have just canceled the flight yesterday or given the passengers the option to cxl and get their money back the first day, 7/9, to find alternative routes home; instead they kept us at the airport either with the cost of hotel or stranded at the airport. This is unacceptable. There are babies crying, antsy kids, lots of frustrations!!

    My Agent convinced me to fly suncountry versus ******** inwhich i always travel.Let me say my flight left on time but 30 minutes into the flight the pilot stated we were instructed back to DFW due to formalities i had not a problem for my safety. They told us twice a different gate to replace us on and my email was pinging different times to leave back out.Final the Agent started boarding us only to run and retrieve the passengers back 5 minutes after that another agent got on intercom and said the WHOLE flight was canceled pick up your bags at this point it left all passengers scrambling i over heard many had traveled from far.Thank goodness i paid for travel insurance. Long story short.my agent got all 6 of us on the next day flight so i missed a whole vacation day at my resort.mind you suncountry comp me $50 for a whole day of inconvenience what a joke.if and i say if.i will NEVER FLY SUNCOUNTRY AGAIN.IF YOU WANT LOW QUALITY GO RIGHT AHEAD.THE ONLY THING I APPLAUD WAS THE ********* THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND POLITE.AMERICAN AM BACK I TRULY DON'T MIND THE EXTRA MONEY

    Terrible! Left stranded after 1 leg of trip for weather and offered refund of just that leg! Left with costs of ************, meals, and last minute booking with another airline to get to destination for many! Meanwhile all other carriers only delayed their flights to that same destination! Coundnt be worse..

    Ugh! Cannot pick your seats, and they put adults up front and the kids all alone in the back row by bathrooms! Not smart.On our trip home, flight delayed 2 hours, then no gate upon arrival at ***********. We sat on the tarmac for about an hour till a bus was free to come pick ** up, which took 3 trips, and again our group with kids separated!

    I bought 8 tickets for my family to fly to *****. Me and my fiance were going to ********* to get married. We had an afternoon flight on Friday June 9th. I admit I pushing time to make the flight but I indeed made it to the gate after running across the airport. My family had boarded the plane and The pilot voluntarily held the flight for my arrival but the staff intentionally would not let me board the plane even though the pilot is asking to let me thru. The lady ******* the gate repeatedly ignored the request and eventually the pilot had to leave. We were to get married June 10th but the next available flight wasn't until Sunday June 11th ?? We will never fly Sun Country again!!!

    Flights were delayed a hour for each of the two flights we were on and to make matters even worst baggage was lost from connecting flights. Save yourself a headache and tears.

    HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. This airline is the worst experience ever. They sell multi leg routes and deceptively fail to disclose that one of the legs is in fact a BUS ride! Even after up charging ** for a bag for the bus leg! Just simply awful and unethical business practice. Whatever bargain you think you are getting will cost you more in the end. STAY AWAY. ******

    This airline should be ashamed of their poor customer service and business practice! I drove 70 miles and paid for parking and an Uber ride to the airport only to be told, while checking my bag, that my flight had been canceled. NO TEXT, NO EMAIL, NO NOTIFICATION, WHATSOEVER! The Sun Country agent told me to exit the line and that I had to reschedule or get a refund, also to be told that the only flight going to the same city wasn't leaving til 5pm the next day, which was already full. This airline canceled a flight at the last second and obviously no plans to accommodate anyone. I was flying to see my grandfather in hospice care, my money and more than anything, my time was utterly wasted. Time I'll never get back and Sun Country did nothing but show a blatant disregard for their PAYING customers. No voucher will make this right! Not that it was even offered! I travel by airplane at least once a month, and I've never been treated so poorly! I will never fly Sun Country airlines again! Unreliable and the worst customer service I've ever encountered!
