NOTHING I have been told by this bank has been true. They lied about deposit limits, then refuse to offer assistance. You cant speak to a supervisor or manager. No apologies, nothing. They now are holding three of the five checks I deposited and have not credited them and will not void the deposits either. Then they say that after they hold them, I will need to request a cashiers check to get me=y money from the bank. They hung up on me three times when I questioned why I was lied to. No corporate office to help out, no ombudsman, nothing.Business Response

Subject: Extremely Disappointing Experience with US Bank I regret to say that my experience with US Bank has been nothing short of a nightmare. After signing up for an account with the promise of a sign-up bonus, I have been subjected to a never-ending series of broken promises, misinformation, and a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction.The ordeal began when I was initially told that I would receive my sign-up bonus after 30 days. This deadline was then pushed to 60 days without any prior notice or explanation. Following this, the timeline was further extended to an arbitrary 45 days from the 60-day ***** It seems like US Bank is playing a guessing game with their customers' hard-earned money.In my attempts to seek resolution, I have reached out to US Bank through numerous calls and emails. However, each interaction with their customer service has left me more frustrated and disillusioned. Managers and supervisors, who should be resolving such matters, have instead become masters of evasion and empty promises.Despite being assured repeatedly that my bonus was on its way, it never materialized. It's disheartening to experience such a level of dishonesty and lack of accountability from a supposedly reputable financial institution.US Bank's handling of this situation has been nothing short of unprofessional, and their customer service appears to be more adept at creating false expectations than actually solving problems. I would caution anyone considering US Bank to think twice before trusting them with their financial needs.This entire episode has left me questioning the integrity and reliability of US Bank. **** wrote off a debt, according to them shortly after 30 days due to over daft. Considering the fact that they had sent no verification of debt N1 Letter also known as a docket letter, and reported my bank activities to national database known as Chesystems, I would like the bank to remove the item from the Chexsystems, refund all bank charges and supply statements showing what the charge was. I was on the phone with bank employees today and was told again the contact information for the collection agencies involved and neither of them have sent me N1 letters either. Possible violation of title 15 usc - Deceptive Practices I asked for a copy of the agreement and the manager in collections refused told me to go to a branch I informed the manager I was handicapped and the manager seemd to make light of it I applied and opened an account online.Business Response

My credit card with them, I had received a credit card and online it asked if I wanted a second user, just to use it, not to be liable for the payments just a second card, I put my husband's name and phone number, and they sent him a card. 6 months later I notice that they put my credit card on his credit report. I have called them numerous times and they tell me I have to call Experian and Transunion, I write to them, and they tell me the bank is responsible. So I call them back and tell them I would like to see the signature of me or my husband requesting that he be a co-applicant (meaning he is liable for the credit card as well) they tell me we do not have that information and there is no way to bring that up. I have been battling this for 3 or more years. I need resolution. This is very unprofessional. Now that I am with a third party to help me with my debt, now they tell me they don't have any information anymore which is a lie.Business Response

My merchant number is ****************, my email address is: *********************** I opened an account with ******************** a month ago, but after I used their service for 20 days, they have decided closed my account without given me specific reason although I don't have any claim or chargeback against my account, now they are still holding over $6718.5 and still charge me fees ($503.96) after they closed my account, it is not acceptable, and I tried to contact them through the email, no one ever bother replying it, please release my funds ASAP!Business Response

I deposited a check with US **** on January 11, **** which was from my mortgage company issued as an escrow overpayment. This check was deposited via mobile app, as it says i can deposit up tp $6000 per day. Upon deposit, $225 were immediately available, with the remaining amount being "approved" the next day. On January 12th, i opened my us bank mobile app and my account showed fully funded. However, US **** secretly placed a hold on my check with notifying me. There was no indication of the hold on my check, except for the now overdrafted account. I've call the 800 number and branch managers to no avail. I've been a customer for 16 years with regular direct deposits and zero bounced checks. There is absolutely no reason for US **** to hold my check for TWO WEEKS. I am not a new customer nor a risky client. My account is now overdrawn and bill payments returned because the funds were not truly available, despite my account indicating otherwise. US **** is now asking me to obtain a letter from **** of America to prove the check cleared. **** of American was baffled by this request as no banking institution has ever done this before. My check and check stub should and always has been sufficient to prove as legitimate disbursement of funds. I even sent my escrow statements. This is an unnecessary over interpretation of policy and unfortunately no one at USBank is capable of helping. Not only will I not use mobile deposit anymore, I will no longer be doing business with US **** as they did a similar thing when I had an auto loan - forcing me to pay off the loan before I could register my vehicle in a new state. We cannot afford to play by these ridiculous policies any longer. I request you release the hold on my check immediately.Business Response

I have my mortgage through US Bank & hit a hardship in my life & decided to set up a payment plan with them in an effort to avoid a delinquency and/or late fees. They agreed to this & set up my plan to skip a payment & spread that out through the following three months. During that process it was never disclosed to me that my credit would be negatively impacted by agreeing to the terms therefore resulting in my credit being severely impacted. *** spoke to numerous people since who told me they would review & get it corrected & they did not & will not. So due to lack of full transparency by them I will have a long lasting credit affect.Business Response

We deposited my wife's disability check through mobile deposit, due to holiday and a snow storm shutting the banks down. The bank decided to put a 10 day hold on the check with no notice, we have a strict payment plan set up with *****************. After multiple hours on the phone and multiple people telling me multiple different things, I finally get a manager who tells me there is nothing to be done. Due to this very this ***************** will be starting the eviction process and I will incur an astronomical amount of return fees, as well as possible vehicle repossession, and eviction fees and such to stop the process. If we can afford such fees. All due to a hold on a disability check from a legitimate large company. We had no choice in this situation, and now we don't have access to our money to pay our bills, because they have to verify. Not one person listened truly to the time sensitive nature of this issue, and left me at 6 in the evening on a day of a snow storm with no options and being thrown into an eviction process tomorrow!Business Response
