Joke of a bank! They shut off my debit card without any notice over a fraud alert. No phone call, text or email. When I tried to call the fraud department , I was on hold for 45 minutes before I gave up. I am currently looking into changing banks. Customer Service is non-existent.

After 20+ years, this might be it! I just got off the phone with USBank customer service who transferred me to the tech department/online support due to the fact that my son and I got blocked from accessing our accts after trying to Zelle a payment for his rent. There was no alert, no notices, nor an explanation sent or given other than our accounts are under review (no reason known) and we are blocked for 48 "business" hours, which will make it 4 days becuse today is a Saturday. What a shame!

I opened a personal and business account with US Bank. Without warning, approximately two months into the relationship, they closed both accounts for "suspicious activity". This occured on a Thursday but I wasn't aware until Saturday. The customer service person couldn't give me ANY information and told me to go to the local branch Monday. The branch on Monday couldn't give me any information. THIS WENT ON FOR ALMOST 2 WEEKS WHILE THEY HELD OVER $12,000 AND REFUSED TO GIVE IT TO ME. This paralyzed my business and cost me my sanity and no doubt money. I never want to bank with these people again.

I was a Union Bank customer for many years. I have both personnel and business accounts with Union Bank. Union Bank was purchased by US Bank, I cannot access any of my accounts. I had over $600K in the accounts and now US Bank has indicated that I have $257.00.
Have made multiple attempts to contact both US Bank customer service and there is no response. I attempted to contact the local Union Bank branch by phone and the numbers have changed and it directs me to US Bank customer service, there is nothing but music on the automated system.
I received 20 letters from US Bank indicating the Union Bank to US Bank would be seamless. Very far from the truth, I believe that I have been lied to by US Bank.
Since I started this complaint memo I finally had a representative US Bank answer the phone, after being on hold for 4 hours.
I was told that I need to open all new accounts in order to access my existing bank accounts.
I explained that this was not was promised to me by both the letters I received from US Bank or the representatives from the former Union Bank.
Now I will be forced to spend a day setting up new accounts, linking my vendors to those accounts and acquiring new checks.
I will lose thousands of dollars through this process of establishing and transitioning 5 new accounts.
Extremely disappointed I was not informed of this prior to the US Bank take over so that I could have addressed the issue before it cost me money.

I regret ever changing my direct deposit to this Bank. When I call customer service I am put on hold for almost an hour when I leave a call back number it takes over an hour for getting a call back and when I got the call back I was told that their system was down and I would have to call back at another time. There is no way to contact them by email or to leave a message because they have a bot for the chat and it's horrible. I have not received my direct deposit which should have been on my account by now and when I do call and use the prompts they tell me there are no pending transactions so I'm just trying to find out where my money is but I'm having a very very hard time. Yes I will be changing my direct deposit as soon as I can get my money if I ever do. Horrible horrible horrible customer service.

They recently acquired Union Bank, a good and honest bank. A few days after this, I cannot access them, and all the transfers that I had going through are not working.
I literally cannot login to this bank, 5 days after the transfer. "Something is wrong on our end."
Yes it is. You are a failure.
What a horrible piece of garbage. They took a great bank (Union Bank) and ground it to dust in 5 days, over Memorial Day weekend, at the end of the month, when people have to pay rent.
The cruelty and stupidity is astonishing.

US Bank continues to offer extremely poor customer service as every time you contact them their system is down or you have to wait over an hour to speak to a customer service rep with poor unprofessional attitudes and then they somehow disconnect the phone as they don’t want to assist you in resolving a problem
I’ve complained many times to the branch manager who says that it’s a continuous problem that the main office in Minneapolis is aware of but they refuse to assist in solving the poor service their people bring to the phone

      -10 stars for customer service.
My local branch tries to help, but they are just as frustrated with the lack of corporate customer service.
      When you call customer service....
      1 Very long wait/hold times.
2 You are placed on the "hold merry-go-round"
3 When you are able to speak with someone, the answers they give a sound like they started last week and are less than helpful.
      My advise, find another bank.

Zero stars. Gift card is issued by U.S. National Bank Association, website is prepaidgiftbalance.com. I purchased a $150 gift card from King Soopers in April 2023 for my son for his birthday. I registered and activated the card. Tried to use it on Amazon, won't work, keeps getting declined. I called multiple times and was advised every time that they had "reset" the card and I needed to just wait 20 minutes. I repeated this step several times, never worked. Eventually the company told me the card was "broken" and issued me a new gift card by mail. I received the new gift card after a week or so, activated, registered, tried to use it on Amazon - declined. I called again and asked for a supervisor, I was told a supervisor was not available. I told him I would wait and I wasn't going to go away, then suddenly a supervisor was available. I spoke with the supervisor and she said that the card had been flagged by their systems for suspected fraud. She told me that the flag was removed and to wait 20 minutes to try again. I waited almost an hour, went back to Amazon and tried to use the card again - declined. I called and spoke to another supervisor. I tried to use the card on a different website while she was on the phone with me. The card will not work.

I was a Union Bank customer who over this last weekend had their account shifted over to US Bank due to the merger. When I finally set up my US Bank portal, I noticed money missing from my account. After researching, I discovered at least 5, possibly more, duplicate pending charges. Contacted the US Bank customer service and was told that they were aware of the issue, but it's "not their fault" and it's going to be resolved by the end of the business day. The customer service insisted that the five completely different charges by five different companies were doubled during the transition due to an error on the five different companies end. They said that there was nothing US Bank could do as it wasn't their fault, but somehow it would be resolved by end of business day today. If it's not US Bank's fault, how can US Bank claim that it will be fixed by the end of the day? I don't appreciate being lied to and currently have a bank account that is nearly empty because of this problem. Waiting until the end of the business day is not an acceptable solution.
