      I was severely over-charged at my local grocery store. $481.73. Although they credited my account for the overcharge TEMPORARILY. They kept asking for information. Their site does not allow you to attach anything like a spreadsheet or a document, only jpg. I mailed in documentation in spades. Looked back over the past year and have never spent over $150 ever. Had ring camera video showing me carrying in 1 bag of groceries. Listed everything I purchased. They never took the time to contact me. just kept asking for more information which I'm certain was never reviewed. After about 3 weeks gave me a boiler plate "unable to assist" and reinstated the original charge. I was able to on my own work with the grocery store to have it corrected. I've been a USBANK customer for savings, checking, CD's loans, mortgage etc. for over 20 years and THIS IS HOW YOU ASSIST ME!!!!!!! My wife is at Wells Fargo and doesn't get treated like this. Time to make a switch. FUTURE CUSTOMERS BEWARE. YOU ARE ARE YOUR OWN.

      Do not go here. I opened an account and was told to wait 3-5 days for my debit card. They let me choose the design and everything. A week goes by, I expect my check tomorrow. Still no card. So I call and ask what's going on, was told they never sent me a card, wow. Ok. So he sent me a new one and it's now in my digital wallet. But when I try to see the numbers it tells me to call their support again. So I do, and I was told they don't know what's going on with the account and I should walk in when I get paid. This seems like a stunt for the bank to take the money and invest it. That's what bank do with your money if you didn't know. None of it is really there. It's all invested. So I'm going in tomorrow on payday to withdrawal all my money and close my account. Let's see how it goes.

      Absolutely the Worst Bank – They Lie and Don’t Care About Customers
      Let me be 100% clear: U.S. Bank is one of the worst financial institutions I’ve ever dealt with. Their customer service is beyond horrible online, over the phone, and in person. No matter how you reach out, you’re met with rude, unhelpful, and dishonest representatives who either don’t know what they’re doing or just flat-out lie.
      Yes they LIE. I’ve been told one thing by one rep, then the complete opposite by another. They make false promises, give out misinformation, and act like it’s not their problem when things go wrong. Their so-called policies are outdated, confusing, and make absolutely no sense no other bank operates like this.
      If you’re thinking of opening an account with them, DON’T. Do not trust them with your money, your credit, or your time. Their credit cards? A joke. Their business loans? A trap. Their policies? Insane. And when something goes wrong, they will not help you. They’ll just blame you and leave you hanging.
      Please don’t give U.S. Bank a single chance. This bank will screw you over and walk away like nothing happened. Worst banking experience of my life.

      Zero stars! This is the worst bank to bank with! I’ve had a credit card for 9 years never one increase. I have 6 cards all have $3500 or higher credit line. But US Bank still has $300 ?? then they want a hard inquiry credit increase then they say they review all accounts every 6 months. That’s a joke or I wouldn’t be at $300 with 9 years of on time payments. AVOID THIS BANK AT ALL COST!

      When I first opened a corporate banking account with US Bank they were wonderful to work with. Since then over the last two years their customer services has gone terribly down hill. Most recently I stopped at their bank in Hanover Park, (4.14.25) and they had a total of 3 people in the whole bank working. One of the three was the Branch Manager Nichole *******. When I told them I would like to open a Money Market account $100K, I was told at 11:20 am that that person was out to lunch and asked if I could stop back. I informed them I did not care to stop back, so they asked me to be seated. After waiting 35 minutes, I still wasn't serviced by anyone. The Branch Manager Nichole was actually working the drive up window. I'll look to bank elsewhere.

      Worst bank/customer service ever. Buying my vehicle at end of lease from them was the WORST financial experience ever. I will never use them again for any reason. It took me 6 weeks, and at least 20 phone calls (since online help was nonexistent) to finally be done with them. Plus, the supervisor I was told to email (5 times) never replied once. I had to present them with written documentation that they HAD in fact received my payoff check two weeks prior (thank God for FedEx Priority with signature tracking) just to get them to say anything other than "We don't show any payoff paperwork received" Even then I had to fight to get my title and to get my refund check for overpayment due to them not posting two months worth of payments. HORRIBLE customer service from a company that does not value its customers.

      They are horrible!! If you do a mobile deposit you will not get any of the money you deposited for several days! Unlike most banks that give you part of your deposit. Also forget about any fraud cases being covered, they will pretend to help you with a temporary credit but will reverse it 2 weeks later after they supposedly review the case . I have had 2 fraudulent cases from Facebook taking my money and never sending the products and us bank allowed it even though research about the companies show several people report fraud and fake site! I have been with us back is collage and they have never once covered a fraud or scam cases being for me!! They also will only give you 200 dollars of your own money if you cash a check (even if the check is several thousand dollars) they hold it until they clear it 7 days!! Who wants to wait 7 days for their money!! I’m so disappointed with them ! Today I did a mobile deposit and it didn’t even shown up ! So not the check is no go to cash some where else and us bank is holding it for god knows how long and I have never been overdrawn or had a negative balance ever!! I have to wait for them to process and then approve my check to be deposited then they will give me 200 in 3 days and the rest in 7 days !! That’s absolutely absurd! Don’t not bank with them unless you want horrible banking experiences.

      THIS BANK IS TERRIBLE AND SUSPECT THAT SOMEONE CONNECTED TO WELLS FARGO AND COMPASS COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION HAVE BEEN VIOLATING MY CIVIL RIGHT OF MAKING AN HONEST INCOME WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE. I TRIED ONE MOBILE DEPOSIT FOR $1000 TO MY U.S BUSINESS ACCOUNT AM CHECK WRITTEN OUT TO MY BUSINESS ENTITY AND IT WAS FLAGGED SO QUICK BY THE TIME I GOT DOWN TO THE BANK 3 HOURS LATER. THE BANKER LOOKED IT UP AND SAID I DO NOT SEE THE CHECK. THEN THE MANAGER LOOKED AT THE COMPUTER AND INFORMED ME WITH A COLD TONE THAT THE ACCOUNT IS TO BE CLOSED. AND STILL TO THIS DAY MONTHS LATER THE BANK HAS NOT GIVEN ME AN EXPLANATION

      This is a review for US Bank - specifically the office at 233 S. 13th Street in downtown Lincoln. All I wanted to do is get change for a $20 bill. Our office has been upstairs in their building for over 18 years, but they wouldn't give me change for a $20 because I didn't have an account there? Ridiculous. I'd give them 0 stars if I could.

      My family have been a long time customer of U.S. Bank and in good standing. We recently received letter saying our accounts our closing without any explanations. After speaking to several agents, they still didnt provide us any explanation and suspiciously referred us to other agents. Our accounts were prematurely closed, we lost all our credit cards and there was no communication beside the official later we received in mail. It really unfortunate how this bank have downgraded so much that they don't have even disency to communicate to customer major account changes. I would stay away from them, disgusted by their poor customer service and their leadership.
