      Nightmare experience. I ordered checks and made it clear that I needed them ASAP. Of course, they required more money to expedite the delivery. The checks were sent expedited delivery out on the 24th of October. I still haven't received them, Nov 3rd. I called every day this week and someone would say "Oh, you will have them tomorrow." They never arrived. I really, really needed them! Also, my bank, M&T apparently now has a policy that they won't print emergency checks anymore. I am bereft. Now they say my checks were lost in the mail. Who has them?? Where are they?? I am in tears, I really needed them by the 1st. I was assured over and over that I was being ridiculous and that they would arrive. Yesterday, a customer service person said he would overnight me checks and I would have them by Friday (too late). But when I went to M&T to try and get an emergency check they said that their notes indicated that I would not recieve the "overnight" replacement checks until November 6th. This has been a horrible experience. I really needed my checks but apparently they have been delivered to someone else, or not at all, who really knows? Not anyone at Deluxe. This has been awful.

      as a payee of a few companies that use this service i can tell you there has to be a better way. the whole print your own check opton is honestly classist in modern times as not everyone even owns a printer anymore. and if you want to direct deposit it's through a 3rd party so you have to pay fees to do so. so after you go to the library or where ever you go to find a printer you have to print multiple times in my case to get around the security which is nice they have security but you have to use the right apps with the righht permissions to get the routing numbers to show so now if you're paying per print thats extra fun. then you have to cut it exactly right and probably have a chat with customer service to jump through a bunch of hoops to jump through to get it to actually deposit. so yeah if you want to piss of your employees then this is great if not then maybe just do direct deposit or print actual checks.

      Customer service is non-existent. My order was weeks late, so I called and spoke to 3 different people who couldn't give me any answer more than a verbal shrugging emoji. All 3, including an alleged supervisor named Pam, said they would call me back with an update. Spoiler alert: none of them did. When I called back the next day, the agent I spoke to said Pam left a message updating my order, but to wait until I called back. Lazy, inconsiderate, worthless customer service.

      I used Deluxe because my bank referred me to them and promised a significant discount. I wish I had looked at reviews before ordering. Apparently, the agent I spoke with quoted me the discounted prices and then implied the discount would be applied after that. So I was expecting the cost to be far less than the bill (which was only sent after the product was shipped - almost two weeks after the order). Deluxe checks are literally $500 more for the same number of checks than my order at a different vendor.

      I have been buying checks from them for my company for the past 40+ years. I went to reorder and while they are 10x what other companies charge, I used a coupon and got it down to what I thought was reasonable. When I went to check out, they charged over $36 to mail 4 check books and a pad of deposit slips. Then when I went to the next screen it went up to over $46. I know it doesn't cost that much to mail a box that size. A flat rate box would be about $17. So not only are they ripping you off on the checks, they are ripping you off on the shipping.

      Terrible customer service, 51 years with this company. Our bank quit using them, but we kept using Deluxe. But they got their last order from me. Totally lied an twisted my
      complaint.

      Very poor service: my order was so messed up ended up trying to chg me $600 they issued me a credit and kept billing me. Ive called the billing office and they were totally unhelpful anyway after multiple calls its still not resolved talk about the blind leading the blind, Js

      Our business provides small business support services: bookkeeping, taxes, payroll, and a broad range of other services and products including business checks.
      We operate lean and at a fast pace. Recently, we notice that Deluxe "pre-selects" the so-called "EZ Shield" fraud protection service in your shopping cart, making it extremely easy (and likely), by design, to be missed and included in your checkout and payment.
      What we later realized is that when a customer declines and de-selects the service, the shopping cart is automatically loaded with a lower-cost EZ Shield service!
      This who process is obviously designed to deceive and trick customers. Extremely deceptive, if not fraudulent! I would not be surprised if a class-action lawsuit eventually comes out of this practice.
      One of our clients was also recently charged (by ACH from their bank account) for an order that was never placed. We were directed to send a report to Customer Accounting by email. A month and follow-up email since then -- still no response.
      We've begun moving our clients' check orders to Costco/Harland Clarke. Not as many choices there; but the prices and customer service are far better.

      Terrible!! I place business orders regularly. Items do not ship on time (even though Deluxe sends an email saying an order has been shipped, it has not!). Items are not received within the timeframe promised. We are actively looking for another vendor for our checks. The one star given is only because they have a chat feature that is nice to use.

      This has been an ongoing problem. Production time is taken into consideration. Checks were shown as shipped, but when tracked via UPS, the label had been created only......shipping had not occurred despite Deluxe's email to me saying it had shipped. It is just so frustrating to not receive items as promised time after time.

      I placed an order on 3/17/23 for personal checks. The order was shipped but never received. Upon calling on 4/7/2023 a second set of check was to be sent out. The second set was also NEVER received. According to DELUX customer service no tracking is provided for these packages. So I now have 2 boxes of missing checks that are who knows where and the bank is suggesting I close the account I've held for almost 20 years and open a new account. I am beyond frustrated and highly concerned with their lack safe guarding my account. Totally disgusted by this company.
