Have called to cancel an online order three times. Twice I was told it was cancelled. Twice I got emails telling me it was being prepared for shipping. Third call just now refused to get me to a supervisor. The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

I've been shopping at this Target for a while, and it has consistently been a disappointment. The store is always plagued with backed-up registers, long lines, and never seems to have enough cashiers. They are also dealing with many products being out of stock and disorganized shelves in almost every aisle. This is probably the worst Target I have ever shopped at.
Despite my repeated complaints to customer service, nothing ever seems to improve. It's clear that the store doesn't prioritize customer service, and I think a lot of it comes down to the management. A new store manager is desperately needed to turn this place around.

We did a pick up order. 16 items. My husband went to pick it up, and after 10 minutes, an associate came out and handed him 1 bag, with 1 item. The associate said that they "misplaced" the rest of the order. At that moment, the associate marked the entire order as being picked up. I got the email notification when my husband called me to tell me what happened. My husband waited another 10 minutes for them "shop" the order again. When they were finished, they came out and handed the bag to my husband. He brought the order home, and it was missing 7 items. To clarify, it was just baby food, because we are trying to feed our BABY. I went on to the app, to mark the items missing, it said something went wrong. So I used the chat feature to see if this could be resolved. The person I was chatting with said that it had been scanned, and marked as picked up, so there could be no problem! Well, that's simply not true. I explained what happened with the "misplaced" items, he repeated that it had been scanned, and marked as picked up, and that there was nothing that could be done. They said their hands were tied. He suggested that I call the customer service line. Yesterday, I did call. I spent over an hour, fighting to get to a resolution, and absolutely nothing was done. This is ridiculous. Do I believe that there is no way to fix this mistake? No! Target has no problem leaving a family without the food to feed a baby, and will not even offer a store credit so that we can buy more. Target doesn't care about people or their families, especially when they are at fault.

I have been a loyal Target customer since 2020, doing 99% of my shopping online and spending a considerable amount each year. Recently, however, I've experienced significant issues with their service.
A couple weeks ago, I attempted to return a pair of women's underwear and a package of children's underwear due to sizing issues. I was surprised to be asked to return these items to the store, considering past returns where I was told to keep, donate, or discard items. After escalating to a supervisor, I was granted a refund for the women's underwear and an exchange for the children's, but the experience was frustrating and uncomfortable.
Earlier today, I received a large shipment where all the items were thrown loosely into a giant box alongside a 25-lb bag of cat litter. Many items, including electronics, food, and toothpaste, were damaged and open, and two items were missing entirely. Some of these items were intended for my wedding in two weeks, adding extra stress. When I attempted to use the Target app to resolve the issue, I was informed that some items could be replaced but I’d need to return others in-store.
With my wedding fast approaching and no time to spare, I called customer service, but they refused to offer a reasonable solution. Given that the damage was clearly caused by poor packaging, I don’t believe I should have to make an unnecessary hour-long trip to the store. They insisted I contact UPS to locate the missing items, only for me to receive an error message stating that Target had blocked me from filing a claim. After spending hours on the phone, I was left feeling like I was being treated as a liar or fraud over less than $12 for the missing items, despite how much I spend at Target every year.
This entire ordeal has been incredibly distressing, especially given the timing, and has caused me to lose faith in Target. I sincerely hope that Target takes these issues seriously and improves both its customer service and packaging practices.

I never thought I would experience something so humiliating while shopping at ******. I was minding my own business, just picking up a few items, when suddenly, out of nowhere, I was cornered by the police. They asked me if I had enough money to pay for my items. Confused and shocked, I hadnt done anything wrong, yet I had to stand there, in front of everyone, and pull out my money to prove I could pay.Apparently, Targets loss prevention team had called the police on me. They didnt have any evidence of theft; they simply thought I might try to leave without paying. I hadnt even attempted to leaveI was still shopping when they confronted me!Despite doing nothing suspicious, the police ran my license and later apologized, saying it was all a misunderstanding. But how is it fair that I was treated like a criminal based on a gut feeling? Is this what shopping at Target has come tobeing harassed for no reason? If I had actually tried to steal something, I could understand the response. But I hadnt. I was just trying to shop, like anyone else, when suddenly I was confronted by policenot Target staff, the police. Now Im left wondering, whos next? Will they treat my family or me like this again? Were not criminalsweve been loyal customers here for years. I never imagined that Target would make me feel unsafe in a place Ive shopped at for so long. How dare they subject me, or anyone else, to this kind of treatment without any proof of wrongdoing. Its infuriating. Instead of targeting innocent customers like me, they should focus on the actual criminals who are out there stealing. This whole experience was not just humiliating, but completely unacceptable.I filed a formal complaint with Target customer relations and am currently waiting on a response. This has been such a horrible and emotional experience. I will never feel comfortable shopping here agian. No one should with this loss prevention team in place. They're reckless.

When it was time to use the card as payment for her purchases,in early July, the card has 0 value as it was used June 25 in Myrtle Beach . S Carolina. Target won’t refund my money even after Wells Fargo Bank , the credit card I used to pay the GC , tried to help me recover my money . WF had to charge me back for this purchase totaling $106. 53.

I purchased a denim skirt on Target.com. I returned the brand-new item with a tag, even in its own bag, with the Target-provided Fedex label. The tracking showed delivered, but I did not get my refund. After waiting for three weeks, I contacted Target. I was told the warehouse could not locate my return; therefore, it is not refundable. I am furious. I responded to customer service email two times, but they still have not refunded me. I wonder why I must pay the cost if the seller and warehouse cannot locate my return package.

I have been a loyal Target customer for nearly 3 decades, my mother has been a loyal target customer since before I was born. My mother is in her 70s, on social security and a fixed income. She had an issue with her iPhone, and when she contacted who she thought was Apple customer support, it turned out to be a scammer and within moments they got into her phone, access to her email, credit cards and so forth. They immediately bought two $100 target gift cards with her target card which was saved in her phone, she received an email about these gift cards and contacted target, but by then of course the they had been used by the scammers. Those same scammers also tried to use her other non target credit card, luckily they tried to spend more than the limit and it was declined, allowing her to cancel. She also immediately canceled her target card so it could not be used again. Unfortunately she was not so lucky with the gift cards, she contacted target fraud department to explain the situation and after their investigation she said that she was liable for these charges because she didn't change her pin number, she told them that she had canceled the entire card and that is why the pin wasn't changed. They said she is liable and they will allow her to make a payment plan.
I am appalled at the way this was handled. Target, do better. $200 may seem like nothing to you, but living on social security and a fixed income this type of fraud can be devastating. You have lost two lifetime loyal target customers. I am so disappointed in how this was handled.

Ordered a window fan online from Target. Initially, they said I could pick it up at their Strongsville, OH store, which is 13 miles away. Later, I got an e-mail saying that they didn't have it, but one was at their Willoughby, OH store, which is 23 miles away. Picked up the item, and when I brought it home, I noticed that the box was taped shut. When I opened the box, the fan was both dirty and broken. They sold a used, broken item as a new item.
