      Xcel's new has rates are outrageous. My bill went up doble even though we are using less natural gas then last year. It just doesn't make sense. Why are we stuck with just one provider for natural gas and electricity??? What we don't have any more options like other utilities??? I used to pay $126 around this time, but it doubled to $250.

      If I could give a negative number rating, I would. The solar company we hired sent all documents to Xcel in August, 2022. There were no changes, no engineering issues and still they didn't approve until January of 2023. I called and they expressed no concern that they were the ones holding up EVERYTHING, made excuses and blamed the solar company. They have no sense of urgency or care for customers. They are a horrible company with horrible customer service!

      Awful customer service! We've been without ********************** on CHRISTMAS for HOURS now... It's freezing, and they just keep pushing back the estimated repair time...It's only 150 customers without power, it shouldn't take 5 hours. My insulin is going to ruin, just like Christmas thanks to Xcel! I literally HATE this company.

      Xcel continues to raise rates, dangerously so, for middle class and below. What used to be $60-70 came out over $100 most recently. Their head honcho is making a lot of money off these price hikes and we, the consumers, are the ones paying for it.

      I am IRRATE!! I have NEVER given this Company PERMISSION TO TAKE FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT. I AM A SINGLE MOTHER ON PAYMENT PLANS. I AM NOW NEGATIVE $78 IN MY BANK ACCOUNT AND CANT BUY FOOD FOR MY CHILD AND I A WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME ITS HAPPENED AND AS A EOMAN WHOS STUFYING LAW IM TRULY THINKING ABOUT TAKING THEM TO COURT FOR MUCH MUCH MORE THAN THEY TRY TO STEAL. CONSIDERING IVE SEEN MULTIPLE PEOPLE HAVE THE SAME ISSUE WE COULD START A CLASS ACTION SUIT IF WE HAVE ENOUGH. IF YOURE INTERESTED PLEASE EMAIL ME AT lilmissjro303 @gmail.com

      If you are trying to go Solar in ******** beware of Xcel Energy. You can install a ****** system and just have it sitting on your roof. They are soo backlogged in applications that you wait months for them to give you permission to operate and install a bidirectional meter. Your solar company will say they can't do anything about it. Go to Xcel to check on the status and they have a "hotline" that no one answers. I am going to complain to the **************************** Their customer service reps says to send an email and they will eventually respond. They need more staffing. This is the worst customer service of any ********************** out there.

      Xcel Energy is horrible. They remotely shut off my power this morning, below freezing temperatures . I have a ****** dollar credit. Told me that somebody tried to set up new service at my address and that my address was listed as vacant. I have lived here 30+ years. Wouldn't give me any info on who tried to set up service at my address. Said we will turn your service on when we can get to it. I so wish we had another choice for service. Total BS!!!Asked for supervisor to call me back and of course no one did. No apology nothing.

      Xcel is actively dangerous to disabled customers. They are dishonest about service outages and restoration timelines and their customer support is non-existent.

      I called and let them know to turn off my services as I would be moving seven months ago....I just received an email stating my services were going to be shut off and my bill is past due!?!? I am being charged for seven months of someone else's use..they cannot do "anything", about a mistake they clearly made...I have to pay or it will go on my credit ..They are the only gas provider here..so we can do nothing..

      We have been trying to get a hold of someone to hook up the electricity and all they do is give us the run around. We have been waiting since the end of June 2022 until today, Xcel Energy gave me ********************* phone number to call and he never answers. Is there anyone else that can help us?
