I have visited ************************************** at Allina Health ************* Clinic two years in a row as my primary physician. So my thoughts are compiled from more than just one visit. The visits are usually very rushed (not more than 15min in total) and with the priority of making sure the list is checked off rather than investing a few minutes in understanding the needs of the patient. I did not feel the doctor had interest or showed care about my wellbeing. Some clarifying questions I had about my vitamin D deficiency, bone health were brushed off as don't listen to podcast. Overall, I did not feel the doctor did a good job in caring for my health. So my recommendation would be to avoid ************************** especially for preventive care needs. Also, the doctor billed additional charges which should have not been there. The Clinic staff were not helpful either.

****************** is an absolute joke. Shot gun approach. Zero follow up or customer service. Only care about your money. Terrible bed side manner. Writing Better Business Bureau and every social media outlet that Allina is on. They truly do not care about ill patients. Disgrace to the medical profession. We will let entire community know of this disastrous experience. DO NOT GO THERE!

Charging for some medical messages... and making it severely confusing... Is absolutely ridiculous. This is not health care. This is making wanting to go to the doctor's ******* even more anxiety provoking! Which creates more stress, and more health issues. This is the total opposite of health care. This tells people that they do not matter, the system just wants to take every little morsel left from patients' lives. With rampant depression these days, this decision is no less than cruelty.

Thank you for your comments regarding this change. The charge for medical messaging includes a small number of messages unrelated to care that a patient has recently received. Most medical messages will remain free. Medical providers have seen a significant increase in medical messaging and this change will ensure this care option can continue for patients. Allina Health also offers virtual care options to meet patient needs. You can find more information on the change and options for receiving care at AllinaHealth.org.

Allina is the worst company and most criminal in the health industry. They bill you money for doing nothing for you and than if you don't pay according to their stipulations they send you to collections even when you are paying your bill.

I got the same COVID runaround someone else mentioned. After two virtual appointments today, i was told i had to go to *********** tonight to get tested, check for kidney health and then get prescribed Paxlovid. But "hurry, hurry.. the clock is ticking." I spent 60 bucks on the two virtual clinics, now they want more money. I'm sick, I have a positive COVID test and don't want to go to *********** to sit and wait and get retested. I was told to do a virtual appointment for follow up, so i did.Because of this, I am looking for a new provider. Awful!

I used to see a doctor at Allina who was great. No BS, took the time to get to know me, knew my history etc. She left Allina so I had to see a new person. That person ended up being: ***** (********) *********. At first I liked her bedside manner, but the care I received was as if I was just another number. She treated me like cattle and ordered tests that I didn't need. I was on the phone with Allina complaining about her and **** said that ***** ordered those because they were routine for my age group. Did ***** take the time just one minute to tell me what she was ordering? Nope. All she said was "these are preventative so they should be covered under insurance". Got that lovely bill in the mail for those tests... I went to mychart and messaged her asking why she ordered these tests for me and for her to explain what they are. She ignored that/didn't answer. If you want to get treated like a number and get rushed through things, go to Allina. You are treated like a body; not a person. I think a robot would have treated me the same. No time was taken to understand my preferences, my history, etc. The "patient care team" doesn't care about you either. When I asked for a consumer-facing review opportunity they couldn't even send me a link. Sent me all around: ******* this" "search this" "try calling this number". Nothing clear and concise. Just seemed like they would say whatever would get me of the phone and off their plate. Where is the care in healthcare?

Being in a rather low mental state, I called my insurance and let them screen and schedule me a virtual appointment to see ***************. Im told by insurance that Ive met my yearly deductible and the out of pocket ** pay will be $0. On the day of the appointment I call to **nfirm the appointment since I missed their call to do so, and they inform me I have an $85 ** pay. I ask them to double check, and they insist I have a $85 ** pay. I cancel the much needed appointment and call my insurance. Insurance re **nfirms I have $0 ** pay rest of the year. These are dangerous mistakes ***** Health makes. Im on edge mentally but if I went more on edge than I am I **uld be in serious danger because of their mess up here.

3/6/23 1) Allina had hounded me for payments already made. An Allina employee rudely told me I had to send proof of payment which I did by emailing them photocopies of the front and back of checks as he'd requested. I never received an apology; however, those particular requests stopped. 2) Then I received a bill in a small amount which I couldn't find any justification for and paid it rather than spend time arguing. 3) On 2/6/23 ******************* notified me that I owed Allina $65.27 which I justifiably disputed with Reliance. They told me to deal with Allina directly. So I wrote Allina requesting a statement of my account commencing on 1/1/22 in order to resolve our differences. I told them, "Should I not be granted this (accounting) by you within 30 days, I intend to notify the Better Business Bureau." So here we are! ********************

If I could give zero stars, I would. I was in for my preventative physical. This yearly physical is supposed to be free under my health insurance plan. My old doctor had retired, so Allina assigned me a new one. In the appointment, the new doctor was asking me all of my family history (things that would have been in my chart from my old doctor) *** went down the list asking me questions and I answered all of them, thinking nothing of it because she was new. *** sent me for labs and sent me on my way. Imagine my shock when I received a surprise bill in the mail for over 700$ for my "free" annual physical! (which didn't even include the usual pap smear) When I called to inquire about this surprise bill, the person at Allina said that based on what the new doctor and I talked about, it was not covered/coded as a physical anymore. All of the questions the doctor asked me where things that were known by my old doctor and not an issue according to my past medical history. It was the new doctor that pushed me and said she wanted to 'check out' things that weren't a problem. This is deceptive and wrong. I firmly believe this is a money grab by Allina to get around the free annual exam. TAKE YOUR BUISNESS ELSEWHERE!
