This company treats patients terribly. There is no customer service. They bill insurance or charge the patient for these overpriced devices and the. Fail to replace broken or faulty equipment.
Very poor ethics at tactile medical

My wife had the Lymphedema machine and garments for 5 years. The machine started having problems and the 2nd garments were worn out. She ordered and received a new machine and garments. They changed the design and made it uni-sex. The garments do not fit well, she cannot put it on by herself. In the interest of saving money, they produced a single product for men and women which does not fit well. The results she received from the old garment were much better than the new style. I would do research for other garments and makers before ordering this. I tried several times to pay off the balance. Customer service is terrible. I was finally able to connect and pay the bill.

Wish I would have read the reviews before I agreed to this unit. Customer service is AWFUL…I was told my insurance would cover the cost in full by my representative then I later get a bill for nearly $2,000! Had to call so many times to try to get answers. They are not truthful about costs at all until after you can no longer return. I am a breast cancer survivor with lymphedema and this machine DOES NOT WORK. Please do not waste your money on it and get scammed by these people. I will certainly try to warn everyone I know.

If there were negative stars that's how they are rated. The product does not work. There is absolutely NO customer service. I've been trying to return this paperweight since July of 2023. They only want money. They should be shut down immediately

Greetings. I am Jeff ****** and I obtained lymphedema garments from Tactile for my right arm and left thorax.
Tactile went above and beyond in working with my insurance. While out of network, they did what was needed to get the max coverage via the primary insurance's contracted secondary ins company contract.
Subsequently I was confused about the billing and made a fuss (an embarrassing large one). I finally got the requested call from Michelle (Customer Finance Manager) who finally got my head around the actual lengths Tactile went to on my behalf.
Now I must apologize publicly to those who worked on my behalf.
I must also say emphatically how highly I recommend their products. Top level engineering, assembly, materials, delivery, and excellent videos and apps to fully explain the use of the products. This includes the sales representative's in-home demonstration and explanation of use and finance.
Let me be clear, if you have lymphedema, seriously consider Tactile's products.

Worst customer service rep, specifically Jacob N, of Upstate SC. He does not know what he is talking about. Lies and even in text messages that go on for an hour to argue with patient. He tells me the basic pump first to show insurance you need advanced and then after all the work I did because he made so many mistakes-he tells me oh your insurance doesn't use our company. Realy? Also he lied about when and where he sent the RX from doctor after I had to stay on top of him and see where he was in the process because we were in a tie crunch. I also stated he needed to use another doc. to get RX because the one on paperwork I don't see often and he is never in so impossible to get things signed-after weeks Jacob asked if I had another doctor. He needs to be re-trained or pulled away from helping patients until he actually learns and learns not to lie to them! Worst experience ever-don't use them!

THIS IS A SCAM!!! They send you a medical unit, never tell you the TOTAL AMOUNT of the unit or how much you owe monthly because they hide behind the insurance company to scam you! Their excuse is insurance requires you to rent it until you own it and that total amount is unknown. Months go by with no bill until insurance issues you a check (small amount) with instructions to "use this check for reimbursement for a payment you've already made or you can use it to make a payment once this provider sends you a bill as 'they' are out-of-network". Tactile calls one month later saying they were notified insurance had paid me, and told me to forward the check directly to them! NOPE! I ask for a bill. Seven (7) months AFTER receiving the unit, Tactile sends my first bill for a TOTAL AMOUNT due only, which was WAY higher than insurance had paid me. Again, they requested the insurance checks be sent to them directly. Asked to be put on a payment plan, and did so for seven (7) months and the total amount due kept increasing. I noticed that payments were no longer coming out of my account, nor was I receiving insurance checks, so I called Tactile. Agent said it was because there was a zero balance. No letters/calls from Tactile until another eight (8) months later when I get a call indicating I owed $5,400 and it was going to collections if I didn't pay immediately. Said the insurance company wrote me checks for that amount (NOT!) and I had to pay them. Of course they had no record of their agent telling me there was a zero balance. She insisted I pay over the phone NOW, and refused to give me a # to call direct AFTER I received some type of paperwork so I could confirm this wasn't a scam. I told her I wouldn't pay over the
phone, and she got RUDE! Asked to escalate to mgr, and she refused saying she was done with the call and going to collections because I was being uncooperative. WOW, I'm calling my insurance company now and then my lawyer. SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They met with me a Mayo Clinic and measured me and October 17 told me that I’d have to send it into the insurance company to get an OK I’ve called five times saying they’re waiting on the doctors prescription. My doctor Nurse sent them the prescription three times and it said confirmed. Their customer service is terrible. I’m so disappointed. Never follow up

My first experience with Flexitouch was in 2013. A rep came to my home and demonstrated— the machine at that time we lived in Indiana. It has been an excellent experience. Anytime I needed to replace the garments. And it’s not been often. But, It was timely About three years ago, I was able to update the machine. Again, it has controlled my lymphedema, and I’m extremely satisfied with the customer service with Tactile medical..
