      I brought the hearing aids two years age blue tooth for a android phone they sold me a audio clip so the phone would hook up to blue tooth with the hearing. Wednesday the store informed me that the audio clip could not be fixed and should not of been sold to me I've waited a year to get that answer when I ask if they were going to refund my money for the clip he said no all I want is the blue tooth audio clip fixed which is still under warrant.

      Unfortunately, there is a misunderstanding by the patient.  We are taking care of him and the situation.  The issue is based on electronics.  The hearing aids he has requires a go-between device to communicate with his phone.  The manufacturer of the phone (not miracle ear) has made a software update that caused an issue with this chain of products working with each other.  Then, the hearing aid manufacturer updated it's firmware to make things work more smoothly.  However, in this process, the AudioClip (the go-between device) was no longer working.

      The consumer complained that we are not repairing his AudioClip, despite it being under warranty.  In truth, we have been waiting for the manufacturer to provide a software patch to allow his system to work again.  This patch as just come to fruition recently.  I have personally reached out to the consumer who filed the complaint, and he is scheduled to have his products updated.

      Sometimes we are at the mercy of the manufacturers who change the software on the hearing aids as well as the phones.  We tell all of our patients that the main purpose of wearing hearing aids is to help you hear better and that some of the additional features, such as Bluetooth connectivity is icing on the cake and should not be viewed as a primary objective of the purchase.  But that being said, we know that our patients like these features and we do everything in our power to not only keep these features functioning but improved whenever possible.

      Miracle Ear keeps sending me their junk mail despite notifying them to cease sending their marketing literature to my mailing address. I have told them in the past that the VA furnishes my hearing aids and I don't need the Miracle Ear sending me their marketing materials. It does no good to call them or meet them at their office as I have tried that. I want them to stop sending me their junk mail.

      I keep getting advertisements of hearing aid information to my home address ************************************** to make an appointment to purchase an hearing aid. I have sent an email to them. I Reported to better business 11/14/2023. On 1/12/2024 I received another advertisement from them. And again on 2/27/3024 another advertisement from them. I need to have them stop mailing these advertisements of hearing aids to me.

      2/20/24, rcvd envelope without any company name or logo, just a local address. Opened envelope and found solicitations (2) from Miracle-Ear made out with my first name. Called the local office to find out where they got my name and mailing address. Local office punted and gave me a bogus number for their corporate office. Found corporate office phone number on internet. Called corporate number to inquiry as to where my information was obtained. I was told, "We get it from public records." I informed them that there are no public records on me as I do not own a house or any other property that would generate a public record. They still refused to divulge which data broker that they obtained my information. Due to the nature of my work I maintain an extremely low profile. The release of any information on me puts my life in danger. I do not carry a cell phone, do not have cable TV, do not do any social media. I have an unlisted/unpublished phone number, etc. I desire for multiple things to happen: 1) Miracle-Ear to divulge to me, through your organization where they actually obtained my name and mailing address, 2) cease and desist from any future mailing from their company, 3) Miracle-Ear is not sell, trade, give, or otherwise give or trade away my information to any other entities, 4) Miracle-Ear is to delete any and all information relating to my name and mailing address.

      The hearing aids that they gave me didn't work. They got new ones for me and want to give them to me for another $4800. They said the old ones are back from repair. I paid over $5000 for the first one and now they want me to pay another $4800 for the current ones and told me I can keep the others that don't work. I want them to keep the hearing aids that they have now and for me to keep the current ones that I have now.

      Late November I received a post card in the mail from Miracle Ear, it was a promotional for a free hearing exam and stating a ***** ******* gift card would be given for getting the hearing exam for just spending 45 minutes doing this so ok a good deal right. So after my exam I asked about the gift card and she wanted to send it by email well I do not have a smart phone so she stated that it would be mailed to my home address. Never received anything so I called the office and asked her about it and she stated it was mailed to my home address still nothing. Apparently this is a scam I went to their site and there are lots of people going through the same problem. So I guess I was scammed this in my mind is not good customer service and them scamming people does not want customers to have or want to be a patient for Miracle Ear. So as a person who was scammed what are our rights to get what was promised a ***** Gift Card from ******* sure would help during Christmas, thank you

       I am rejecting this response because:

      I have not received any gift card at my home address, if and when did they mail it out I do not have a smart phone or access to any IPHONE to get the email of the gift card or to access a copy of it. I explained to the secretary at Miracle Ear North Dartmouth ** this and she said that she would inform Miracle Ear to mail the gift card to my home address which is ************************************************************ not to a email. Thank you please respond as to when this was sent. Have a great day and when I should be receiving the gift card .

      I tried to cancel an hr after I was at miracle ear they said I had to sign a paper they now are telling me I can't cancel it says I have ******************************************************** tried to contact regional managers. no one will contact me.

      I purchased hearing aids in Feb 2020 at the Miracle Ear office in ********* **. There have been constant problems with fit and technology working. They continually send them out to fix the issue or resize. They are returned not working and need to be sent out again and again. I am never provided timing or explanation on who is responsible for the lack of fit or repair. The national customer service contact takes message but no one has ever returned the calls. The latest round of fixing has been several months. They were returned to the office without bluetooth technology - a crucial component and need to be sent out again.I would like new replacement of hearing aids that I originally purchased.

      My Mother has severe hearing loss Once she got to CA that was my 2nd main concern along with ****** care. She was seen by M.E. and another Dr. **** out time. The 2nd place wasn't helping enough. M.E. called me. I went to them. Talked about the problem. Decided on hearing aids. So they give me their prices. Mom needs the expensive ones. I asked about the lower price ones, that are still over priced. I was told, for ***'s case so severe, she would need the highest price ones. I know ears are bad so I agreed. They said pay first, then the order could go thru. I explained to M.E. that at that time our money was funny. I needed to fix it. It would take a little time, there's weekends businesses are closed. We paid some to start. They would not stop until they got their money. M.E. called, said their system was down, could we make the payment to one of their other locations. I explained my situation again. They continued until bill was -0-balance. I had issues here and there. Some things were explained that made sense. More time goes by. Things not right, I'm not happy. Mom had appointments so they could help with hearing aids, lifetime service. So they check aids, clean them, turn some dials on the computer, ask Mom how are they, *** says there fine. Time passes, less happy. I know refund time is gone, I'm not happy. I write to M.E. stating I want some money back, take aids, cut my losses. I guess the Head Guy and an assistant is at ***'s appt. They *********** dials. Basically telling me no refund. So now I want to know about the less exps$ ones. They must not work at all. I expressed that I wanted to meet w/HG to discuss aids. As I type this, it's not about the low/high price. Mom has had other aids that worked. Walmarts would brake and Nanos came after M.E. At 1st I wanted proof why higher was better. H.G. stopped communication with me. That was within the last 3,4 months ago.
