So far I have spent $54k on new windows for my house. They have had to replace one already and now I’ve had an issue of improper sealing of the frame causing mold. I’ve called multiple times and they keep saying they will call me back with a team for repair. A guy came out and actually said it was not installed properly! He told me we would get on the schedule for repair. Fast forward a month and I’m still sitting here, calling everyday and waiting on hold for 40 minutes, emailing, NO RESPONSE. $54,000 fuck this crap I’m so frustrated.Renewal by Andersen, LLC

1 starHad original sliding patio door, as well as all other windows installed in 2006. Spoke with customer service to order replacement patio door panels in 2017. Had pine interior but it would not take the stain, was coming out splotchy, so had to order another. Now the maintenance free exterior coating is peeling on that same door panel. I called to see what could be done and I was told only original windows are warranteed, not replacement panels. We were never told this when we bought the originals or the replacement panels. One of the reasons you supposedly pay more is for their fabulous warranty and unique ID number for your windows yet they don’t back the product if you have an issue. Exterior finish should not be peeling after only 6 years. On original windows the finish is warranted for 10 years so why not on the replacement panels? No one can exactly point out where in the warranty that it tells the consumer specifically that replacements are not under warranty. The first customer service rep told me it was just “company policy”. I asked two different times over two weeks to have a supervisor call me. Each time I was assured they would call within a couple days but never got a call. Went to the store and was able to speak with a service manager whose only solution was for me to to buy another replacement that also isn’t covered. Even though it says in their warranty that you can pay to have a tech come out for repairs he told me I would have to get the matching paint and do it myself. I definitely feel there is a lack of transparency about their warranties. I also think it very poor customer service to not return calls with the amount of money you pay for their products.Review fromEric G

Did not use the service, but the sales team is pushy as hell. Entered my property unsolicited and started commenting on all my window problems. When asked to leave he continued to pursue the sale. Was still talking as I returned inside my house.Renewal by Andersen, LLC

They were the most hi pressure company I have ever dealt with. They send a 70’s plus year old lady to our house. She asked if I could cary in the window samples because she has a bad back. She measures and comes back with an outrageous price. I tell her we’ll be paying with cash. She offers a discount which is still outrageous. We said no. Then offers another discount if we put an Anderson sign in the yard. We say no. Then she gives us another price if we don’t tell anyone what we paid. We say no. After almost two hours of high pressure sales we ask her to get out and she kept rambling on. We finally had to threaten her that we were calling the police. She agrees to move on and ask if I could cary her samples back to the car, for which I gladly did. Needles to say we went with another window company.Renewal by Andersen, LLC

Bait and switch company. Needed a kitchen window replaced or repaired and when I called them I got told they could repair it but couldn't guarantee the seals or the could do a replacement and would send someone out to give me a consultation. I agreed and first appointment they canceled on me and when I called again I was told they were sorry for the inconvenience and they will make sure someone comes out this time. Well today came and gone and when I called them they claimed I was in the system but the computer didn't assign me a technician and I would just have to make another appointment. I already took off 2 days off work to meet with them. Supervisor Timothy said he could manual assign me a tech and would assure I would get someone the third time. I told him that's what I got told last time and now it's history repeating itself. I got offered nothing in return but to pray and hope someone would show up the third time. Don't recommend them at all unless you enjoy sitting at home waiting for no one to come by.Renewal by Andersen, LLC

Well, almost 2 years into it now and the same problems. Our windows have already started to fade, the clear caulking has turned yellow (they tried to fix it by putting black caulk on it, it looks like a child did it because it's so thick and chunky looking), still fogs and when you call, all they want to do is schedule somebody to come "look" at it. Been through that at least 6 or 7 times and they tell someone else and we schedule another appointment with somebody else new to look at it. I wish we had our old windows at this point! At least I had a reason they looked old and like crap. So fed up...
Not to take anything away from the installers, they were great. Friendly and professional.Renewal by Andersen, LLC

We have had the worst experience ever with Renewal by Andersen. Upon installation they damaged the panel and base on a sliding glass door that cost $10K. It has been 1 1/2 years since the damage and they still have not replaced or fixed the issue as of 7/20/23. So would recommend staying away from this company.Renewal by Andersen, LLC
