Professionalism and the installation are definitely 5 Star. However, 2 years later needing a screen replaced on my sliding glass door and just finding out they don’t do repairs is very disappointing. So, basically the company is designed to do repairs on only the parts under warranty or replace the entire door/ window when warranty ends. So Buyer BEWARE!

This broker is a scam!! Please guys avoid them. I was only a victim to them because I believe it will be the best for me but am unable to withdraw from them and they keep on asking for more deposit. Am so glad HARPER was able to help in getting my funds from Them. Over 2 years ago I had several custom ordered raw wood windows and doors replaced on the main floor of our 100+ year old heritage home by Renewal by Andersen. We paid a premium price expecting to get an excellent product and exceptional customer service. The original installers did a horrible job. Every window and door frame had not only an abundance of nails (unnecessary) but the installers also used copious amounts of gloopy wood glue on EVERY window and door frame (a big no-no on raw wood windows that need to be professionally stained (the glue leaves a mark)). A professional stainer will not touch the project until Renewal by Andersen corrected the botched job. The other issue is over time, left untreated, oils from fingers that touch the frames and doors will affect how the stain absorbs into the wood. Well, 4 visits later, 2 no-shows and the job is incomplete (still, again). The nice gentleman showed up today and had no idea how much work needed to be done (despite an abundance of documentation (photos and well written descriptions of the mess)... and guess what. He didn't have enough materials! Now we have to schedule ANOTHER visit, wasting more of our time and more opportunity for the windows to be touched with oily fingers. I received a guaranteed promise from the regional manager (LaRae) that she would make this right and that THIS TIME they would show up and complete the job! Complete lip-service! I have stage 4 cancer and need to have this project wrapped up so we can move on as a family. This is unacceptable and I have requested compensation. I was justice for this complete robbery of a customer.Renewal by Andersen, LLC

1 starI purchased for my 20 year old home ALL new (Renewal by Anderson) Windows. In my previous home we had Anderson windows put in and could not be happier. After 20 years with builder grade windows and multiple issues we decided to, again, get Anderson windows. My wife and I have been retired for 7 years now - purchased this home as our last house and our income is fixed. But we also feel to get good, quality windows will benefit us over the years.
I have 2 casement windows and one double hung in my kitchen. I have 4 casement windows in my sunroom, 2 casement windows upstairs in a loft, each of the two bedrooms upstairs have casement and finally a casement window in the master bath. All the other windows are double hung.
It’s been a mild winter but the two days we had cold weather the 2 casement windows in the kitchen formed condensation - the double hung did not. I checked all the other windows and none of them had condensation.
Even the master bath where showers are taken.
I contacted our dealer and they said condensation is normal I responded they need to explain to me why only the kitchen has condensation and the sunroom which has A-LOT of my wife’s plants (which are watered frequently) had no condensation. I was given a humidity gauge and to monitor the information. The kitchen has been having readings between 29 and 32 with the low indicator at 31. Then sunroom ranges between 39 and 42 with the high indicator at 41. The next cold snap we had. The 2 kitchen casements had condensation, the double hung did not and the 4 casements, in the sunroom had nothing. All windows have the same interior shutter blinds. The location of the heat vent is the same in both rooms.
I asked my local vendor to provide me a logical, reasonable and scientific explanation how one room with lower humidity has condensation and the other room nothing. Anderson will not replace my windows and I am left with a defective productReview fromKaren C

The process was daunting I had 20 windows and 2 doors installed 5 1/2 years ago. It looked ok and we were just relieved to get them out of here.
4 days before my install warranty expired, I had a kitchen renovation which required changing windows to accommodate counters. What was discovered was water inside the windows and further review, no flashing was installed! This opened up a can of worms and it was decided to change the exterior since water was found to be pouring in because of improper install of these windows by Renewal. Every window including Slider so far has shown no flashing.
The company is uncooperative. They sent a rep down to argue with me but how can you argue with me when it’s obvious there was no flashing put around these windows and slider? Where’s the argument from?
Disgusting. I paid double what anyone in their right mind would pay, and my husband and I didn’t know any better. It’s just sad.Renewal by Andersen, LLC
