Did the work OK, but further research revealed I was egregiously overcharged. The invoice was not detailed so there was not way to break down the charges, which just gives them cover.

Hello *****, when the technician came to your house they provided estimates to repair your equipment which included pricing. We do not perform any repairs until you the customer has signed off on these estimates. Were sorry to hear that you feel like you were overcharged for your service. Absolutely the worst customer service. Are they trained to be the absolute worst to speak to? Their technicians play question games with you and dance around inflated quotes. I used McQuillian for an AC repair and they were a difficult to work with - I don't know why I expected different, but they have been a complete nightmare as we look for service of our furnace. I would advise my worst enemy to go with someone different.McQuillan Home Services, LLC

Buyer beware. I went with McQuillan in 2022 to have a refrigerant recharge $1,600. Then a month ago, my AC A coils ruptured, requiring an entirely new system. I purchased a below average system for $7,500. I paided an extra $1,300 to move my Air Condense 10 feet to the right.
Without consulting with me, they attached the refrigerant line to my siding instead of my concrete foundation. Now, I have hail damage to my siding (not one month passing) and they told me it would cost $2,000 to move the line down 6 inches.
I'm sure there is cost associated to running the business, but some of this rework is built into the "quality" that McQuillan claims to provide. Why didn't they walk me through the steps what they were doing? I didn't have a chance to talk with how they would implement the move, they just did it and I was accepting where they chose to install the refrigerant line.
They basically said pay $2,000 and we can make it right. It was only a couple weeks back when they did the installation. I'm ~10k into this company and I rate them as a 1 star unless they change their position on remediation.McQuillan Home Services, LLC

I spoke with ****** today explaining that we installed the A/C conduit at the level it was coming out of the home.Three weeks after the install we received a call from ****** asking to move the A/C conduit from the siding level to the lower, cement level (about 6-8 inches) saying he understood there is a cost associated, however, he was unhappy with the cost we quoted. While I was willing to offer ****** a discount today on having the conduit moved, as a courtesy, he informed me he wasn't interested and had moved on with the job.Review fromDeth P

I asked for manager 5 times; on June 9, June 11 and 3 times today on June 12. I keep getting the run around. Took $2000 from account and act like they can't make an appointment with me. I Want my refund. They act like they don't want my business. Not good people to talk to. People that answer phone are useless! $12 membership is useless too. They treat me like this and I'm a member, I'm sure it's worse for people who are not!!!McQuillan Home Services, LLC

I would not recommend this company. They charged me an
outrageous amount for a very small job that took them actual work time at most 20 minutes. The cost of the job was over the amount needed to take advantage of a $****** coupon. The two techs that showed up for this job did not know if it was a valid offer so did not accept it. I had a different $***** card that I used from another service I received from them. I called the office to ask some questions about this fiasco and I first got the runaround telling me what the charges covered that were part of my cost. One of them was Ladder charge?? I made another call and asked to speak to a manager and was told she was not in. Some time later, she did call me and I explained all of this again and how unhappy I was as a customer. She told me she would send me a check for the other $***** that should have been deducted from my service. A month later, no check! No follow-up. VERY POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS. Work on customer service should be first and foremost! I am not an unreasonable person and only feel that I should be reimbursed for what I was told would be refunded. Or, was I taken advantage of because I am female and a senior??? I would leave less than a 1 star review if that was an option. I feel like I was taken advantage of. Honor your word. Ignoring an issue will not make it go away. I never leave negative reviews and always give the benefit of the doubt but in this case, there is no doubt! 5 starsCalled for appt due to leaking facuet in tub. Rep came out and recommeded rebuild and also recommeded whole house iron filter. The best part is both issues were completed same day. The installers were great. I highly recommed Mcquillan Bros. Best servce ever.
