      DealDash I find kind of expensive not only do I have to pay to.bid but when I win I still have to pay for the item. If I'm bidding on **** all I have to do is pay for the item nothing to pay to bid. I'm not sure why I have to pay to bid plus pay for the item on DealDash

      Thank you for your message! Id be happy to explain how DealDash works.

      DealDash operates on a pay-to-participate basis, so you need to purchase bids in advance to load up your account balance. This small fee makes the massive savings possible!

      Each bid you place uses up one of the bids from your balance, and increases the price of the auction by 1, while setting the auction timer then back to a full nine seconds. It's in this small window that someone else must decide if they will place a bid to outbid you. Auctions go on as long as the bidding continues, but if no new bids are placed and you are the final bidder in the auction, you win the auction at the final sale price!

      If you don't win the auction, you can still use the Buy It Now offer to purchase the item for its retail price, and even get back all the bids you used in that auction! Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they get the item they initially wanted, as well as to keep all their bids.

      I downloaded app called Deal Dash and wanted to see about how this auction would work. It would not progress without a payment method which I chose PayPal BUT DID NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING. Once I was in app and saw that this was not going to be anything I was interested in. I closed the app and deleted it. This morning my wife tells me we have a charge for $30 pending from Deal Dash. I did not make any purchase; I was careful about proceeding any further within the app to avoid making any purchase.

      I woke up this morning on 05/17/2023 to a text from my bank due to suspected fraud on my account. ******************** charged me $30. I never signed up for an account, I simply went onto the website to see what it was all about but never created an account because I wasnt going to pay for bids. My bank account has been closed, not able to use it until I receive a new card in the mail and we all know how long that could take! Very upset about having my information stolen by a website I have never even signed up for! Makes you now question any website you look into that offers similar services or anything that results in making purchases.

      We are sorry to hear about this unauthorized transaction.

       

      Based on the information the cardholder provided, it appears that their payment card info was compromised, and that someone has made unauthorized charges on DealDash.

      We have taken a look through our payment records using the info this cardholder provided (email, name, date) but it is not enough to locate the potential transaction in this case.

      Based on the price point of $30, it seems that the purchase was for a bidpack of bids that can be used in DealDash online auctions.

      Since the cardholder has never used DealDash and sees a charge from DealDash, this means that someone made an unuathorized purchase with their card on DealDash.

       

      They took the correct action of contacting their bank and closing their card to prevent further unauhtorized activity.  We have a dedicated Fraud Prevention Team that works with banks and card providers in cases like these.  In this case, the cardholder's bank will contact DealDash as needed to resolve this.

       

      We hope that this information satisfies the customer's desired resolution of ''explaination of charges'', and we are happy to assist further if needed.

      May 16,2023 I registered with Deal Dash to learn about how it operates. After I provided the required information I then learned that I had been charged $72.00. I do not agree to this charge; I was merely seeking information about how Deal Dash works. I am not interested in bidding and request a refund immediately.

      There is no way this site is legit. They have false accounts making fake bids on their behalf. On multiple prizes especially the bid prizes I witnessed first hand how people bid over **** bids to win 800 bid prizes. Or ****** bids to win **** bid prize. The only people willing to do this are being paid to boost these auction prices. The normal average person is betting under half the prize and being outbid by these fake bot accounts. I lost enough money in the 1 week I was a part of this site to know how it works. The *** will soon be investigating this fraud. You will be in court to face these allegations once the word gets out.

      I only wanted to see what deal dash was about and tried to bid but was not successful so I decided it was a useless game for me. I logged out and deleted it from my phone never thinking I would be charged until I opened my checking acct two days later and saw I was chged $30. I need every ***** to survive these days and need this money returned.

      When I signed up to this website, I was charged a $30 fee immediately. Nothing I read on the website or that was listed in the television commercial and mentioned anything about a fee to join. This $30 needs to be refunded immediately and all of my information removed from their system, I am also disputing the charge with my credit card and filing a complaint with my states department of justice.
