Was told that this ***** *** would call us, he ***** did... they did not miss the screw, they were showed it by my husband, and they did not fix it, but charged us for it and sent us on our way, the next day they refused to fix it, and said they would not put it back on, and that we needed to buy a new tire for it... wr had 2 paid for repair so we wanted tires to match and did not feel comfortable with the other patch, so had to pay almost 400 for the 2 tires... the price they gave us in the 1st place was NOT $75.00  more it was 50 ... and I was very unhappy and told him so... the manager laughed it off and acted like I was being over dramatic about asking to see if other tire was fixed and that we for sure got a oil change... still unhappy... with a 50 dollar credit towards over 400 tires.

Festus, ******** Location I brought in my company van to get the brake pads and rotors replaced. The van had no issues before dropping off just needed a routine brake replacement. Upon picking it up i noticed a terrible noise and vibration from the front left so i returned just a couple days later to get it fixed. They advised me i had to drop it off again because they were booked. I thought that was a bit weird because they caused the issue and its sort of urgent being brakes but i went ahead and dropped it off the following week. 3 days after dropping it off they called me to say they couldnt hear the problem. I then had to drive to the location to point it out to them. 3 days after that they called saying it was finished and the tech said he lubed the dry guide pins. About a week or 2 after picking up i hear the exact same issue. I call again and schedule the service with the service manager for another week after that on a saturday morning. He was clear with me that they would just redo the job entirely. I arrive saturday morning at my scheduled time for them to tell me they cant get it on the rack for a couple hours because of someone elses service. At this point i was tired of spending my time going to and from there numerous times but once again i went ahead and just left the vehicle with them. Whenever he called to tell me it was ready he stated that it was a broken caliper bracket and that they replaced it. Well, fast forward to another 3 weeks or so and i am hearing the SAME issue once again but worse than it ever has been. I called and spoke to someone today and asked if they are able to fix the issue or not and he said no they have done everything they can. Ill go ahead and repeat it, THEY CANNOT FIX THE ISSUE THEY CREATED. I was never once offered a refund or any sort of compensation for the multiple hours and trips i spent dealing with this issue. I will have to take the vehicle somewhere else and have them fix their mistakes.

I have my car tow to them because the car was running hot. I was advised it was the radiator. I told me it would cost $1400 and we gave the ok for them to fixed the radiator. After replacing the radiator now they are saying I need a new engine I was advise that either I would to need to paid $1400 for the work already done or $700 if I allow them to put the old parts back into 2006 **** Explorer. I was advise that now i need a new engine and his shop doesn&#**;t work engine. The Auto H32373131**3030303138H in ****************** is holding my Suv until I either pay them $700 or $1400. I never authorized them to repair nothing but the radiator. However, they are trying to charge me for additional work that wasn&#**;t approve by myself or my son.

      To Whom It May Concern,

The customers car came into our location overheated. We replaced the radiator which was the cause of the overheating. After replacing the radiator, the car now has engine issues due to extreme overheating and continued driving. We had no way of knowing this condition existed until the Radiator was repaired. We only charged the customer for the radiator repair. The customer does owe for what we have done so far with the radiator.

I went in for a tire change because of the advertisement of this business being the "quick change artists" and was told they had 5 tires they&#**;ve been working on for a week and couldn&#**;t get to mine and they were extremely rude to me. I don&#**;t believe they should advertise themselves this way if they&#**;re behind a whole week. I didn&#**;t appreciate being treated that way either.

My car was making a car underneath, brought it to a repair place to check it. 5 hours later with 1000 dollar bill saying I needed brake pads and there was one tire was bad. They replaced tires for all of them. I took it to someone else to replace me. They are only refunding me 300 worth. They are saying I owe 625 dollars for a wheel I did not replace. I would have replaced it myself and went to my usual guy to get the tire to be replaced. Never mind the fact that the tires they replaced was even older than my current ones. They also did a flush for the brake fluid and they over filled it. They pin it on the machine, but they would still be able to control how much they put in. The fluid was dark colored as well so it seems like it was added to and not replaced. They said they would redo this, but I have to drive a ton just to get to it, how many times until this is done right? I also noticed there is no price point for the labor on the paper, so I am not entirely sure what they are even charging me here. RE: Complaint #******** ***************************

      To Whom it may concern,

I have been working with this customer for weeks on this issue. She originally came in for brake issues. Her front brakes were grinding and needed replaced. We sold her front pads and rotors and a brake flush. While performing said services we noticed 1 of the tires was at 2/32 and the other 3 had shoulder wear. We offered her our promotional buy 3 get 1 free Nokian 1 tires which she gladly accepted. She took her old tires with her back to a tire shop not affiliated with plaza. That shop contacted me to inform me 3 of the 4 tires did not need replaced and sent me pictures. I inspected the pictures of the tires and agreed that there was in fact shoulder wear on the tires, but it was premature to replace them.

My direct supervisor and I offered the customer 2 different solutions. She could bring the old tires back and we would remount and balance them and refund her money for the tires or refund her $371 dollars which was the cost of 2 tires since she got 1 free and she could keep the new tires. I even spoke to the owner of the other shop she frequents in case she felt more comfortable with him, and he even agreed that our offer was more than fair to her. We have not received any other feedback from her on which option she would like us to do.

      Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:

I asked to put the car up on the racks to check out the car. They said my tires were bad and they had a special sale buy 3 get 1 free. They were backed up and told me it would be two hours before they could get to me. I asked if I could go to *******. He said no. So i waited and then they came in and said they were ready to start on my car after 2:30. I got out of there at almost 5:00. I asked to take my tires back with me. They said the older tire was not usable so i left. I showed the tires to the person I bought them from. He said they were fine they were only a year old. He wanted to see the older bad tire also. So I had to drive and make another trip to go get them. So they told me the finance company would not charge until this is settled (I remember someone telling me this). I want compensation for the tires, and everything that concerns the tires on the bill. Wheel balance-*****. Belt tpms-*****. Tire disposal 20. Tire protection plan *****. I will pay for half of the sales tax witch is *****. and half of the shop supplies 17. The one rep said he would do the flush over himself. Front brake pads ******, front disk break rotor ******, I am responsible for. The break flush service labor is ****** for labor and I have had 2 people say it was not done right. It should have been clear or bright color and it was passed the full line.

What was break fluid quarts 12/cs=175 dollars? For the compensation and my trips and time and the wrong they did me why did you replace tires when it was not necessary? Just because one was older does not mean I should have had all new tires. I could have driven home when I got new tires and it was time, not this situation. This is unsatisfactory in every way. For the tire compensation all those things above and everything combined=611.93 that I would like compensation for and will pay the ******. Plus the reflush is also what I want.

      Sincerely,

      ***************************

This is regarding an appointment scheduled for 4pm CST today for a tire inspection. For some reason the white male I spoke with around that time at the front desk said your website doesn't take appointments when it does. That isn't funny and the provided link to a screen cast showcases that you do. Please resolve this as I don't need to have things weirdly conveyed as a customer or having weird covers attempted regarding a bad system or communication.************************************************************************

We purchased the tires for our vehicle from Plaza Tire. We opted to purchase their road hazard service, which will repair if possible or replaced blown out or otherwise damaged tires. My wife had a tire go flat instantly on the interstate. We were forced to pay for a new tire because they stated the tire was damaged from driving on it while flat which destroyed the side walls, rendering it unable to be repaired. My argument is that a flat tire in the interstate is not a situation where the vehicle can be immediately stopped. When she noticed the issue she was in heavy traffic and had to wait to merge over to the shoulder for half a mile. I have spoke with that location twice. I have submitted two separate inquiries on their website over the course of two weeks with no response

At Plaza Tire Service, ***************************, May 19, 2023 mileage ******, replaced spark plugs, replaced engine oil pan gasket, motor flush, complete oil change. On December 1, 2023 just ***** miles later we first asked them to check for oil leak before considering spending $1020.67 for new tires, wheel alignment, and new tie rod. No problems with your car - they said and we thus had all that work done and products purchased. Not even 800 miles later, the engine seized up in traffic, endangering our lives. It was towed to an auto repair and service shop where it was diagnosed as 'no oil in engine'. Unless it was total negligence on the mechanic and Plaza Tire Service - how can a car that was just serviced and a possible leak asked to be checked - seize up after only 800 miles?

      Business Response

      Date: 02/26/2024

To Whom It May ****************** Customer came into our shop in November of 2023 for an oil change that we successfully completed. The customer then brought the car back into our shop in February of 2024 and asked our mechanics to do a visual inspection for an oil leak where they found a valve cover gasket that was leaking. During the inspection they did not check the engine oil levels due to the customer only wanting a visual inspection of the engine. The customer declined the repairs we offered to fix their valve cover gasket and several weeks later the customers engine locked up. The customer towed the car into another shop and notated that no oil was registering on the dip stick due to the leaking valve cover gasket that we brought up to the customers attention prior.

      February 28, 2024

Unfortunately, **************** has their facts in error and misconstrued the information they have provided as a response back to the Better Business Bureau from their affiliate company Plaza Tire on Broadway in ********, **. As of March 5, 2024 this complaint is still unresolved.
On May 12, 2023 at the above named Plaza Tire business, all 4 spark plugs were replaced @175,878 mileage, a full motor flush, fuel system cleaner and 4+ quarts of oil added along with a new oil filter. At that time,as per their recommendation, we had a new oil pan gasket installed all for a price of over $570.00.
We brought the car back to Plaza Tire on November 30, 2023 (@179,668 mileage only ***** miles driven since the last oil change and oil pan gasket fully replaced). We asked them to check the oil and an oil leak, as we had seen a few spots on the floor. We did this, as we knew the car needed new tires, but we were not going to spend the money on new tires if the car had major problems. They assured us at Plaza Tire - it did not, but did also recommend a left outer tie rod be replaced again we did this to maintain the car in good shape - all for a total cost of $1, 020.00.
The Plaza Tire also stated they  recommended we replace the oil valve cover gasket while at the same time claiming they never raised the hood. Plaza Tire stated they did NOT open the hood to check the oil level! Our question is How can they possibly recommend replacing an oil valve cover gasket without opening the hood of a car and at minimum looking at the oil level?
Just seven weeks later, the engine froze up, while in traffic. When towed to a local mechanical shop the problem was diagnosed as no oil in the car. We feel Plaza Tire on *************************** location was negligent in checking and filling the oil on December 1,2023 when we asked them to check for a possible oil leak. They claim they did an eye check all in assuring us things were ok and buy a new set of tires and a tie rod replacement!
We had our car towed back to our house, as we have taken exceptional care since we are original owners and bought it brand new. This car should have had much more longevity if it would have had ANY oil in the engine.Instead, we now have no transportation with that car that has been maintained on the inside and exterior as well.
Again, the engine seized on 1/29/2024 at a busy intersection in the City of ********. We are well into our 70s and we feel very violated with Plaza Tire pushing for unnecessary work and not completing what they should have done in their documentation. Plaza Tire is owned by Sun Auto they bought out all 89 Plaza Tire Locations in the *******.
We would like fair value of the car remunerated to **, or preferably our engine replaced. Thank you for your consideration.

We do not accept the Plaza Tire and **************** response about totally denying any responsibility for the seizure of our cars engine due to no oil diagnosed in the engine.
Plaza Tire on the one hand says - they did not open the hood to check the oil level. On the other hand - we have the recommended replacement of an oil valve cover gasket on our sales receipt.
Our question is, how can a garage recommend an expensive replacement of a part on the top of an engine without opening the hood? They either did or did not open the hood.
If they did open the hood and recommend in good faith to change the oil valve gasket cover HOW CAN THEY NOT LOOK AT THE OIL LEVEL?
If they did NOT open the hood (as **** the Columbia store manager and ************************* Cape Girardeau claim they did not) HOW CAN THEY RECOMMEND CHANGING THE OIL VALVE COVER GASKET?
Someone at Plaza Tire is either being untruthful or totally unethical in the work they claim should be done, and our car needs fixing from Plaza Tires in ********, **.
