  Used the program for a while. I think it does help students focus on learning, my children have no complaints about the tutors or group classes

  A total scam. After purchasing hours over the past several years on an as needed basis, they automatically converted me to a monthly subscription model without my knowledge or consent and proceeded to charge my credit card $579 a month. I found this out, not because of an email confirmation or notification, but by reviewing my credit card statement. When I got a hold of customer service and asked where the balance of hours was, they said it is a use it or lose it and they do not roll over. So I paid $2300 for hours that I cannot even access there is no number or link for customer service on the app. They should be investigated for fraud and illegal business practices

  Excellent program and tutors. My son is learning Chinese and additionally he has access to different subjects, math, learning, science and more. With the same membership the complete family can learn language and more

  Great program. We use for all of our children. Flexible scheduling and really responsive short notice. Weve looked into local tutoring but the ai and features that include playback and live classes are great for the price.

  I would highly recommend Varsity Tutors. My son failed Calculus II and had to take a summer course so he could move on the ********* he passed his summer course with an A-. ***** has been hugely instrumental in helping my son process and understand the equations. I couldn't be happier with the service we've received.

  Varsity tutors is a great way to expand your knowledge of almost anything you can think of. The tutors go through lots of testing and training to make sure they are up to par with your tutoring needs. The platform itself is also a great learning platform, with streamlined information and a great AI learning tool.

  I had the most wonderful experience with varsity tutors. I was studying for my medical boards. I was floating right around the pass/fail **** and wanted some extra support to walk in the exam confidently. My score went up over 100 points which is amazing. I had 1 on 1 sessions, a personalised study plan, and all kinds of resources that were all essential to my success. I am happy to report that I very easily passed the exam. I would recommend this experience to anyone and it was well worth all of the money!

  The sales representative made it clear that these tutoring services were a 1 time payment of $500. I paid for 8 sessions of tutoring each an 1 hour & got a receipt for this in my email. I was told I could cancel anytime if I was not satisfied, but what the representative failed to mention is that they auto bill you every month & dont tell you about the non refundable policy. I was under the impression I would have the same tutor for all 8 of my sessions. I was also supposed to have tutoring twice a week. My first session, the tutor said he did not think he was qualified enough to teach me what I needed. They took about 48 hours to find me a new tutor. However, they never assigned my tutors at the time I requested. My first week, I only had 1 session instead of 2. The next week I had my 2nd session. Following the session, my tutor told me he no longer will be working for the company so needed a new tutor. It then took a little over 48 hours to get a new tutor again. For my 3rd session, my new tutor was having internet issues & the session was never held. After 2 sessions, I wasn't satisfied with my services & asked customer service to put my account on pause so my 6 remaining sessions would not expire. I told the representative that I would call back when I was ready to unpause. A month later I called to ultimately cancel my account. That is when I found out I had been charged another $500 for another 8 sessions. Never once did I get an email saying my account was unfrozen or that I was billed again. The representative had only put my account on hold for a week which was not what I asked. I asked for a refund from customer service & was denied. I spoke to a supervisor who also denied me a refund. I called back the next day & spoke to the same supervisor & after I was ***** with the fact that I wanted a refund, he was able to offer me half of the money back. I think it is ridiculous that this company blindsides their clients & then makes it hard to get a refund.

  So easy to be paired with a tutor and I love how I can send them material before the sessions to guide the tutoring. Very easy to connect with a tutor and my daughter hasn't had one that she didn't enjoy.
