    I've used Swappa for six cell phone purchases over the last five years. I've never had an issue with a seller nor the website itself. All phones were as advertised, packaged safely enough, and worked perfectly (until I destroyed them.) For the pricing, it is a small gamble but I've never had to work with Swappa for a return or what have you.

    I’ve sold a couple of phones and a laptop with them and had no issues whatsoever. I feel like it’s a very safe process for both the buyer and the seller. I hope my experiences with them continue to be positive.

    I have purchased 8 items from Swappa (mostly Android phones but also a laptop and an Apple watch) since 2018, and I have been *very* satisfied with all purchases. Each one has been exactly as shown in the listing and shipped promptly with no problems or unexpected "surprises" upon receipt. They have all worked well. I won't buy electronics anywhere else online.

    I have been buying and selling with Swappa for a few years, not as a company but just for my personal items. I have not had any problem as a buyer or seller. The one time I needed support they responded within a few hours and it was a Saturday night. Responded to my question promptly, and professionally. I am thoroughly satisfied with this company.     Ordered a phone only to find it had issues. Then the guy gave me his Bestbuy tag where he bought it so I took it there and Bestbuy found a bad seal so they replaced it and they couldn't figure out the software issues. Messaged the seller about what was found and then swappa stated sale was final. So the man sold a product that was faulty and lured me into taking it to Bestbuy for swappa to side with him. So I bad reviewed him and took the L. 6 hours later my IMEI was being attacked my dns server wouldn't connect and my settings were being effect. Very very strange. This man knew what he was doing and swappa did nothing to protect me. Having my cell provider access some stuff and track it all. This company does not help it's buyers only backs the seller. I was honest he was not. So $900 dollar mistake. Don't buy from this company and bewareeeee. Btw this phone was only 1 months old and now the guy is retaliating against me for bad reviewing him with my IMEI.

    We're sorry to hear about this experience. However, the statements you made (as noted below) suggesting that Swappa or the seller was 'attacking' the IMEI of the device off-Swappa are not true.

    "btw this phone was only 1 months old and now the guy is retaliating against me for bad reviewing him with my IMEI."

    Swappa would, in no way, tolerate any sort of off-site retaliation such as what you suggested was happening here, so for this, we request documentation from you supporting these statements so we can review further and take proper action against the seller.

    I have bought several items on swappa. I feel pretty confident that I will not be ripped off. Swappa does the initial imei checks on the product to ensure that the product is real and as advertised. I am very happy with my experience on swappa

    Swappa has the right balance of protections and method to help you know what you are getting. I have bought and sold many items, and saved a TON of fees over eBay. I always look to Swappa first. Thank you Swappa!

    I've made a total of 9 purchases on Swappa and always had a good experience. Even on a couple of sales where there were issues (stuff happens), I didn't end up losing a penny. In one case, the seller became unresponsive and Swappa staff walked me through the process of filing a claim with PayPal to get my money back. In another case, the seller was responsive in making the situation right, which I can certainly appreciate. I've made purchases since these two cases and I'll continue to do so in the future.
