      We placed a $300+ order on feb 20th. Raspberry bushes, 75 strawberry plants and peach trees. It is now May 15th. You still havent shipped our order. I've called customer service, multiple times, only to sit on hold for ten, twenty minutes, and then get sent to a voice mail. I never recieve a call back. Instead of communicating with us, you sent an excuse laden email with a coupon code for 15% off our next order ?? We were loyal customers. We've ordered multiple times over the last 15 years. I can assure you that we will NEVER order from Stark Bro's Nurseries again after this experience. You have now forced me to leave reviews, reflecting our horrible experience, in every place a review can be left. We wasted an entire growing season waiting on Stark Bros nursery to disappoint us with gross incompetence and nonexistent customer service!!!!!Edit: I was finally able to speak to a real live person and get a refund. If you need to get ahold of someone at Stark Bro's Nurseries, call and act like youre intending to place an order. This is the only way you'll be able to speak to a human. Thank you Stark Bro's Nurseries for wasting my time, patience and growing season.

      Thank you for your feedback, and please accept our sincere apologies for the frustrating experience you've had. We completely understand your disappointment and are truly sorry that we fell short of expectations during your most recent order.
      This spring brought an unprecedented surge in demand that overwhelmed our shipping and customer service teams. While that is an explanationnot an excusewe recognize that our communication with you during this time was not up to our usual standard, and for that, we are deeply sorry.
      We also regret that your order experienced significant delays and that your attempts to contact us werent answered promptly. That is not the experience we ever intend to provide, especially to a loyal customer of 15 years. We are glad to hear you were finally able to speak to a representative and get a resolution, though we understand that doesnt undo the disruption to your growing season.
      Your feedback is being taken seriously and shared with our leadership team so we can improve both service capacity and communication moving forward. Thank you again for your past support, and while we regret that this experience led you to feel this way, we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

      I ordered two weeping red bud trees about a month ago and my order has been pushed back x2. Called the company no response, text the company no response. They will take your money for an order but then treat your ( the customer) very badly. I will not order anything from this company again. I would like to have my money back.

      We're very sorry for the delays and the frustration you've experiencedwe understand how disappointing this has been. This is our peak season, and we've had an overwhelming influx of orders, calls, and emails, which unfortunately led to slower response times and miscommunications. Please know that was never our intention, and we sincerely apologize.
      The good news is that your order has now been released to our packing house and is preparing to ship out. You should expect to receive it early next week, and a tracking number will be sent to your email as soon as it ships.
      As a token of our apology, we've gone ahead and issued a refund for your orderso it will still ship, but at no charge to you. Please allow 35 business days for that refund to reflect back to your original payment method.
      We truly appreciate your patience and hope this helps restore your confidence in us. If you need anything else in the meantime, please dont hesitate to reach out.

      Orders keep getting pushed back for multiple weeks going on months. There's no communication. It took 2 weeks to get a response via email with no satisfactory answers.

      It means a lot to have such a company to work with when purchasing plants and trees. When a tree died over winter, they did not hesitate to replace for me as per their warranty procedure. Great company.

      We feel very confident buying from Stark Bros. They stand behind their quality products just as they say they will, and ship product when they have the best chance of success. This takes a lot of the guesswork out in planting. To top it off they honor their refund policy. We have apple and peach trees, blackberries , blueberries, Texas super sweet onions and asparagus plants all purchased over years of being very satisfied customers. I recommend them all the time!

      2 plants from my original order of 5 did not survive the first year. I contacted Stark Brothers and was told they would be replaced when they were back in stock next spring. After some vague problems communicating with the e-mail process I tried to use the live chat option on the site. I finally decided to call and get a live person. This has been taken care of over the phone. Replacements of each plant were sent to me and the beautiful plants look larger and healthier than my originals. **** was very helpful and efficient. Thank you.

      Im not entirely convinced consumers actually receive their orders from Stark Bros. I ordered strawberry plants and a variety of herbs on 3/18 and my order got pushed back several times. Original expected date of 4/12, then 4/27, then 5/4. The delivery date came and went, we never received our order. So we called the customer service line 3 times; all different times and days when, according to their website, they should be taking calls. No answer. Left several messages and no one returned our calls. Not to mention, their automated system gave us an updated delivery date of JUNE 13TH. Which is peak strawberry harvest season, might I add! We never received an email about this latest pushback, or any apologies for the serious mishandling of our order. Trying to cancel and get a refund has been an absolute nightmare, as no one ever answers their phones. Im not sure well ever receive our money back at this rate. If anyone from their company actually reads these, order no. ******* needs attention.

      I ordered 25 bare root strawberries on 3/29/2025 with an ETA of 4/20. that date passed i called and got a recorded new date of 5/11/2025. I called again with another new date of 5/22/2025, its now past the time when these plants will root and survive the summer heat. Thank you so much for making ME chase you down for an aggravating and disapointing experience.

Additionally, as a token of our apology for the delay and the aggravation caused, Ive issued a full refund for your strawberry order and we are still sending the plants to you at no charge.
