Zero Star. $250 a month until **** for insurance on car repairs! The "notice" does not identify the sender. The "notice" has the appearance of an official document from ****** The agent told my wife that she did not need to talk to her husband about such a purchase of insurance because he was "sure she was smart enough to make a decision on your ********** away from these people. I purchased a warranty yesterday (11/28/23) on my *** via of a down payment on my credit card through this company. I decided to use CC instead of debit, just in case. Their name was not on the mailer, so I didnt know who they were until I saw the email they sent after the purchase. Then I read reviews. I phoned this morning to cancel. I hated to do this, but I decided to tell them that I was going to get a new car instead. When I called the number on the mailer, the lady told me, well you need to keep the warranty, but I guess youre rich, then she gave me the ** number. I spoke to ****, who tried to convince me to keep the warranty. He even told me his mgr will deduct $350 from the price and lower my payments from $209 to $190 per month for 18 months. I said no. Then he added that they would give me the employee discount to $142 a month for 24 months. He told me their company was 110 years old and did warranties for ************** and he named other large companies. (According to BBB, it shows as being in business for 9 years.) From reading these reviews, I felt that had I given my real reason, it would have gotten ugly, quickly. He really, really tried to convince me not to cancel. Those of you who wrote reviews, thank you so very much. That is why I am writing about my interaction with them. Hopefully I will have no problem with the refund due in **** days.Eleras Group, LLC

We received a letter that was very verbose and misleading. It would seem to imply that our warranty was going to expire on the brand new *** we purchased in 9/2023. It claimed we had to "activate" our warranty as if it were ordered but not activated. We did purchase an extended warranty with the dealer so thought it may be related to that, but ***** (if I recall correctly), informed me they are a different service provider and that the services we have are not reliable and are in business for 2-3 years. When they go out of business the dealership blames the warranty company as their out. I told *****, I was concerned with Eleras' D rating with BBB. ***** asked me if I knew how BBB set their ratings, I said no and was informed that they are paid for; hmmmm, did not know that. Guess when I finish here I will complain to the BBB about the BBB. ***** also told me he does not make money of the sale of a warranty and he does not need my money. In fact, he rode into work on his $66k ******. Also ***** informed me that if I did not accept their warranty while on the phone I would be disqualified from their service eligibility even though their letter said reply by 12/4/2023. While ***** was schooling me on how the industry and BBB work, I was looking up information. Our current provider has been in business since **** and does not sell direct to the public. Also, they have a C+ rating; still not great but far better.I informed ***** that I was going to pass to which he responded: "Thanks for wasting both of our time". On this point he was certainly incorrect as he caused me to do a closer analysis of my warranties. In doing so I decided we would be better off to cancel and invest the money in a CD and use the money if needed after my 5 yr / 60 k warranty expires. Thanks *****, see, you did not waste my time.Needless to say, I'd recommend staying away from this service. But if you choose to use them say hi to ***** for me.Eleras Group, LLC

I want tobfile a complaint this company is a ripoff, and they want cancel your policy. I'm filing a lawsuit with this company. I called to cancel November 20, 2023 and twice I was hung up on. The employee **** told me I was making a big mistake with leaving them and I didnt know what I was doing and that switching from them to my new group was stupid on my part. I'm very upset with these people. I just wanted to cancel this policy and they was very angry with me including the so called ***************************. I got transferd to her she does the same thing telling me I shouldn't leave them they had the best policy they can lower my payments I told her no I want to cancel. People beware of these people they are vultures. Run from these people and don't look back. If they are such a good company why is it so hard to cancel the policy. Real companies don't take you through all of this headache they just cancel. That's it That's all. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM CAUSE YOU WILL REGRET ITEleras Group, LLC

This company is a scam and I dont understand how its legal for them to say that theyll cover any automotive repairs and then after they get your money, they send you a document that states that they wont pay for literally anything. From glass to light bulbs to exhaust system to sales tax, its clearly listed that they will not pay for or reimburse you for. AND THEN theres 3 pages of things they also wont pay for, in bold. How is this legal to blatantly lie to people to turn them into customers, and then give them a hard time when they want to cancel?They get you by spooking you into calling them with their FINAL NOTICE mail and then scaring you into buying a policy with high prices of repairs that they know they wont be paying for. Please dismantle this horrible company that is robbing people of hundreds of dollars a month. This kind of thing shouldnt be happening to people.Eleras Group, LLC

I had my name taken off their list maybe four or five times. Still getting mailers and when I call to make sure they do it correctly I am treated extremely poorly, hung up on, and it turns into a yelling match.Eleras Group, LLC

Received a deceptive letter telling me I did start my service contract. Made to look like its from dealership. How can a brand new car have its factory warranty expired, How can I have a customer Id with a company I never talked to, just scammers looking through purchase records.Eleras Group, LLC
