      I truly feel like Ameren MO lies on ****s and use local temperatures to do so. Reason why I say that is because I live alone. Im someone who doesnt like it hot in my house. November and December my father was in the hospital dying. I was gone from my home every day from 6am to 11pm. Turned everything off in the house including the thermostat. Came home to shower and get a few hours of sleep that was it. But somehow my electric **** increased to over $200. Each **** said in increased due to heating costs. But I wasnt home or had my heater turned on. When you talk to Ameren the customer service is rude and dismissive. You cant trust them but you cant argue with them either. Anyone else knows that they dont use much power and seem to have random huge increases on their ****s?

      For the past 2-4 months, I've pressed "1" to take **************** Survey, only to get the recording: "thank you for agreeing to participate. Unfortunately the survey is not available at this time." What a Disservice to their employees, & a waste of time to their customers. As a former **************** **** I know very well the importance of any & all Employee review tools. Ameren must not care very much for their employee's.

      We began in AUGUST to get electricity to new construction. We were continually told "we'll be out in 2 weeks" or "We'll be there in 3 weeks." It took 3 months to set poles and a transformer. Then the County provided an occupancy permit and the County contacted Ameren to say we were ready for power. Monday November 25, 2024. My husband called them on Monday, December 2, 2024. Ameren claimed that they never heard from the County. The proclaimed we would definitely have power by the end of the week. Now it's Thursday and they just informed we'll have power Monday.Unfortunately, it's a monopoly and we cannot get our electricity from anyone else. If Ameren had competition, they would either provide better services or they would go out of business. Working with them has been horrible and maddening. They are lazy, dishonest and inefficient.

      They have charged me for 5 months of the neighbors apartment and will not take the charges off even tho its a mistake and are making me make payments even tho my bills were paid on time. They rolls me it wasnt their fault so why take it off

      We had a storm that damaged the house on Sunday nite. The debris pulled down to the ground the main power line to the house. I called in an emergency service call to Ameren Monday morning. I have flickering lights, half power to freezers and refrigerators and the microwaves won't work. It is now Friday and they have still not come out to correct the situation.

      The company is overcharging me for my electric services. I was on a payment arrangement and when I get down to the nitty-gritty of my payment arrangement, they want to say that I was late making a payment so I have to pay a $600 bill. I stay in a small two bedroom house, never at home. I’m never at home. I am never at home. I work six days a week and don’t understand how I’m being overcharged. I just lost for words with this services and then at the end of the payment arrangement they want me to pay the remaining balance of my payment arrangement , but now it fall I don’t understand how this company works and the extra fees that they charges us. The company is a total rip off.

      I got the run around 4 times was giving wrong information and when asked to pull the recording I was blankly told no, they will not from a manager The manager was so rude actually had to record the call. It was that rude. When you call, it says all calls are recorded and they refused to pull the call

      Ameren is charging me to much for my electric, Its only one person in my house and I'm hardly never at home, I work two jobs 12 shift ain't no way I can be using 421 worth of electric, i was ask to betaking off budget bill and they never took me off, now they saying budget billing is behind, when they been charging me more than I've been using, Im sick of this, can't take it no more, they are ripping me off!!!!!

      After calling to review who my electrical supplier was and determine why my bill was higher than normal, the representative offered to send a technician to my home to investigate why I was using more energy and suggest ways to reduce it. I informed her that I would like to be present during the appointment to hear what the technician had to say, and we scheduled it for a Friday.However, the technician showed up at my home on a Thursday when only my wife was there. He ignored a "Beware of Dog" sign, entered our backyard, and our dog, who was secured, let himself out. My wife immediately grabbed his leash. The technician asked if the dog was friendly, and after my wife assured him, he approached and petted the dog. Later, without informing either of us or explaining his presence, he reported our dog to the state, claiming he was bitten.I contacted Ameren and spoke with supervisors who acknowledged that the disconnect of the appointment should not have happened and promised to conduct an internal review. However, nothing was offered to rectify the situation, and I was disconnected twice during these *************** summary, the technician arrived on the wrong day, under the wrong pretense of helping me save energy, only to "check the meter." He ignored the warning sign about our dog and then filed a report with the county, even though my wife witnessed the entire interaction and saw him pet the dog. Despite reaching out to Ameren for resolution, I have received no satisfactory response.

      Ameren Illinois conducted a thorough investigation of the subject complaint, which revealed the following information.On 08/22/24, an Ameren Illinois lineman responded to an order to check an electric meter for a high bill complaint. This type of meter read order does not have a scheduled date or time for the technician to respond. Upon arrival, the lineman spoke to the homeowner and asked her to keep the dog inside while he read and checked the meter. No issues were found at the meter or on Ameren Illinois' side of the meter.While in the back yard, the dog was let out. The homeowner came out after the dog, but assured the lineman he was friendly. While petting the dog, he playfully bit the lineman and broke the skin. As part of Ameren Illinois procedures, the incident was reported to the Ameren ********************* The safety team, following state guidelines, advised that animal control needed to be contacted.On 08/23/24, an Ameren Illinois Electric Operations Supervisor contacted ****************** and advised him Ameren ******** was following state guidelines by contacting animal control, and provided information for Ameren Illinois' third-party administrator, ******************.If ****************** chooses to file a claim, he may do so by contacting ****************** at **************.Given the above, Ameren Illinois considers this issue to be resolved and the complaint closed.Thank you,Ameren Illinois Regulatory Affairs
