      Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Madison Heights Campus
      The nurse putting in my IV did it so hard I had paid shooting up my arm. I've had many IVs and blood drawn and this was not normal. I told the nurse that she hurt me and she just continued doing what she was doing.
      I told her twice to stop touching me before she stopped. I then told her to leave the room several times and she did not. She finally left the room and as she left said "I'm not f*****g dealing with this".
      I spoke with the anesthesiologist and nurse manager explaining what had happened, yes I used foul language when explaining what had happened, and I apologized each time I used foul language.
      At one point the anesthesiologist was alone with me and just wanted to tell me how the nurse did nothing wrong and it's just part of surgery. He did not want to hear anything I had to say. At that point I wanted the nurse manager or my surgeon to speak with. He did not care to hear that so I yelled out into the hall for help. He told me that if I yelled for help again, he would call security and have me removed from the hospital.
      Shortly after the nurse and the anesthesiologist came to my room and told me they were not continuing with the surgery and I would have to leave.
      I had scheduled this surgery 2 months in advance because of the difficulty of getting time off work.
      I will not be able to get this surgery for another 3 to 4 months.
      This cancelation was in retaliation for speaking up for a nurse abusing me.
      I was abused physically and emotionally and my surgery was canceled because I spoke up about this abuse.
      I should not have been treated like that.

      I have used their services for a few years and it is absolutely been horrible!! They apparently are unable to call me because of their phone system and they have tried to email me and I have never received an email from them or have they replied to my emails. I have to drive 15 miles to their office just to communicate with them! I recently needed a CPAP machine replacement and after 3 weeks STILL have not received it. They blamed it on their FAX machine being down and hadnt received the prescription from my doctor. Doctor sent the prescription weeks ago. After a heated conversation with them now my doctor told me they refuse to fill the prescription. A completely unprofessional organization and I would highly recommend that no one do business with them. Do yourself a favor and read all the reviews to understand Im not the only one having terrible service with this business!!

      Extremely Short Staff...Accept patients when they are unable to meet their basic needs in the *** such as a room to put patients in..therefore all patients care is being done in the waiting room. From bloodwork, then send back to waiting room out front, mri, scan, xrays, etc...then send back to the front to waiting room... Could have dealt with all of that but when all test was done a nurse call you inside of the same area you check into the ** states we don't have any rooms Then preceded to give out test results even though you have not once spoke to a doctor....They didn't even bother to pull you to a separate private room to discuss any of your concerns..So please pass this HOSPITAL ** by if you need better care then this...because I will be doing so..

      HORRIBLE MATERNITY ****-- STAY AWAY- KEPT MY BABY FOR 2 HOURS FOR NO GOOD REASON AND WILL NOT TELL ME WHY. The maternity **** kept my child after birth for at least 2 hours and have no explanation as to why! I complained after the fact and was told the nurse on staff was fired, but they cannot or will not tell what they were doing with my baby for 2 hours!!! They claim their policy is to give mothers their child right away, but that is a brazen lie based on my experience! STAY AWAY!Then the completely incompetent doctor told me I had cancer when ************************* confirmed I just had a routine miscarriage. This doctor forced me to go through an unnecessary surgery for a fake cancer which she botched and I lost half my blood, almost dying! She also botched my c-section which got infected and required re-hospitalization and more surgery!!! Totally horrible place!!!!

      I was just at your location. You suck! I arrived a little after 4 pm 4/23/24. Just in case before I arrived I made an appointment for 5 pm. I waited about 1 hr and 10 mins and was still not seen. 5 walks ins were taken before me. Only 2 were for drug tests, which I understand. I guarantee the other 3 were in no more pain or distress than I was. In fact the 5th walk in was taken around 5:10. Even after my "just in case" appointment time. Total BS. I did inquire after the 3rd and was ok with that, and I will be taken shortly, even thought it made no sense. However, they took 2 more walk-ins and not drug tests. I ended up requesting my co-pay back and left, still in pain. Thanks so much for your "care"!!!!!!

      To whom it may concern, I went to the emergency room located at ********************************************* on April 17, 2024 at 5:22am. I've never felt so uncomfortable in an emergency room like I did at St Columbia ****. The way I was seen was unprofessional and kind of rude. It's like the doctor didn't really want to listen to what I had to say or want to deal with me at all the day. The nurses were more kind than the doctor, and they even listened. I saw my notes about my appointment, and they sounded only half of what I was telling her. I never said I stopped taking the medication called Gabapentin 100mg. And it was really offensive when she called my feet "dirty" when they weren't. It was like as though I disgusted her in some way. In my opinion, it was either the color of my skin or my mental diagnosis of why she only saw me for 6 minutes and rushed out. I've never felt so uncomfortable, disrespected, ignored, and mistreated in my life in a hospital emergency room.

      I went to the Ascension Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy at Ascension SE ********* Hospital - ******************************************************. I had a terrible experience. The lady who "assisted" me (************) has terrible customer service skills. ************ didn't greet me when I got to the register. She just stood there and stared at me (as if she was the customer). She eventually asked me why I was there. During the transaction, she didn't explain anything, she was short with me, and she behaved as if I was inconveniencing her. She shouldn't be working with customers if she isn't able to communicate properly and she doesn't appear to like people. I was highly disappointed in my experience, and I wouldn't recommend this pharmacy to anyone. I won't be back.

      Lovely people. Systems in place aren't working. I was in, asked what medication I take, I gave them bottles expecting them to go to be recorded and come back. Discharged after shift change, during "code red *** and never had medications located. No one was there from shift when I got there, in chaos they never made it to inpatient pharmacy or back to me. I have 2 weeks no medication and have been shuffled since 8 am from **** to **** with no answer.I would recommend no matter what is asked, provide a list, not your "home meds". You'll not see them again.

      People on location are great. However when calling about a billing concern I get transferred to a call center where not only am I on hold for 45 minutes, ** also told that to resolve my issue will take up to *********************************************************************** feeling like I was being scammed.
