You are told your going to get one bill, then you get 5 bills from several places. Sad attempt at confusion to get more money or flat out ripping the patients off. If you pay 1st bill, then they tack on more money and charge you for the same thing twice.

Horrible!!! I am insulin dependent and went in for a procedure and was told to only have a liquid diet. I hadnt eaten in almost 72 hours and was to the point of passing out. I was told there is nothing we can do about it REALLY!!! If your thinking about mercy *********** **, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Security lady was rude and nasty on the night shift. My grandson was born and I asked to use the men's room that was locked. She snapped at me because she had to get her lazy **** up from her chair. She needs to be fired.

Mercy has decided to start charging patients for additional visits when they express new concerns during a wellness visit. It seems dishonest especially since the doctor always asks if you have any additional concerns or changes. Its just another way Mercy proves that it cares nothing about its patients

Hi. I am a Mercy patient and seeking help with a unique refund issue. In April 2023, I underwent labor at Mercy, and subsequently, both of my children have been receiving pediatric care at Mercy. Last year, I utilized my company healthcare *** account to cover my ********************** bills. However, I departed from my company in November 2023.Thanks to the Mercy financial assistance program, I have felt secure and supported. I recently discovered that the program also covers past bills, which I was unaware of previously. On January 4th, Mercy processed a refund of $1,622.71. It seems that perhaps Mercy was unaware of my departure from the company and the fact that the refunded amount was sent to the *** account. My *** account is still active but is scheduled to close on 3/31/2024. The challenge I am facing is that, since leaving the company in November 2023, I am unable to utilize the funds in my *** account. While I can submit claims for medical bills or medicines purchased between 7/1/2023 and 11/17/2023, I cannot find bills totaling $1,622.71. Consequently, I am at risk of losing these funds.I am writing to request Mercy's assistance in revoking the electronic fund transfer and redirecting the funds back to Mercy. Ideally, Mercy could then issue me a check or transfer the funds to an active account that I currently hold. I understand that this may involve a process, and I am grateful for any support you can provide in resolving this matter promptly.

Mercy Hospital is really not easy to deal with. I got yelled from billing department supervisor for ask help and unreasonable exam. I need help for unable to pay for bills and no one willing to help. They stated will send my bill to collections soon even I am trying to apply financial assistance. All the customer service at billing department are not acknowledged and willing to help. They worked there like machines/robot

I would not utilize Mercy Hospital period~ When I went into Mercy Integrative Medicine, I was advised I would be in network and covered under insurance. I started to receive bills 3 months into my therapy and questioned it with the billing ***** I was advised they are reviewing and will resubmit. After multiple calls, I called my insurance and they called Mercy with me. I was advised by the Mercy **************** rep ********* she was putting in a ticket stating that the tax id/address isn't correct and updating the address to reflect the ********* PO Box address vs the ******* ** PO Box address. The Tax ID they have on file does show the Mercy Integrative Medicine *********************************** and PO Box ******, ********* **. This is being updated to reflect the correct address and claims will be reprocessed. Well, here we are today, I was told that they the ticket was denied and that instead of owning $6,200, I now I owe $6,900 and no explanation as to why! I have been making payments and yet get told if I don't up my payment, I am being sent to collections (currently paying $250 a month, they are wanting near $400/month ) In addition, I have asked why my the mailing address for my payment is is the *** address and not the ** address they have submitted for insurance? Isn't that fraud? DO NOT USE MERCY!!! I don't even want to add a star, but unfortunately I have to!

I worked in the Hospital as a Patient Sitter, which was a horrible experience. I always documented everything that the patients did and how they were doing with notes. Whoever set this up did not do a great job within the department. There is no communication between nurses or other nurse assistants. They are so understaffed that they expect us patient sitters who are not educated to move or touch the patients to feed them. They once gave me a hard safety patient who needed more help than anyone could give him. If you are late or do something wrong, they write you up and then try to tell you that you are terminated. I also worked in the childcare department, which was a big mistakeuneducated people and the manager allowing co-workers to her house to drink or smoke wherever. It was a nightmare, and people attacked each other while they drank. The boss only likes and favors others, and she allowed a girl in her office to abuse me emotionally. Mercy is the worst place to work, and you must wait 45 days to quit or be fired to get your 401k from your money. In addition, you can not have any paid PTO paid out to you until you have been there for five years or more, which is incorrect to do to someone who earns that money. They never give you warnings and only fire you because they do not care about you. When you are sick, they expect you to come into work while you are not **** free of throwing up.

My mother and I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours before she was seen! She was in severe pain and distress and I asked the recent what was taking so long they said there was only one doctor in the building! Its ridiculous that it took that long for one doctor to see 13 people! This hospital needs to either be shut down or more staff hired immediately!!! *** worked in healthcare my whole life from housekeeping laundry nurse aide and nurse and Ive never seen anything like this its sad that you even call this place a hospital! A lady was puking on the floor

I'm waiting with my daughter in the back where patients are in the hall way it's been well over an hour now no one has came to say anything to this young lady and why? No even her nurse why? I know it's short staff I just want some kind of acknowledgement from the nurse there is plenty of them on there phones not saying they don't need a break cause it's stressful for them and me as a parent waiting for a nurse or doctor to come care for my child
