I started using this company No mo Pests June on 2021 paying ****** quarterly after still seeing an abundance of ants May 2023 I cancelled. Then sometime July 23 one of their managers came out and I told him I had cancelled. He offered to do another spray for 30 to prove they were good service as I told them I still had ants and he said that some of the tech were just not doing their job and they were probably gone and he was sent get things cleaned up.so I took him at that and his word, and signed on to give them another chance. for ****************************************************************************************************************************************************** an abundance. SO basically they do not guarantee that their product works, If my contract requires me to still pay the remainder if I cancel early, their product should do the job, it should be a guarantee on their side, There was nothing, so I cancelled and was required to pay the remainder of the contract eventhough their product did not work after all of that time, so I reinstated it so that I would at least get something for my money eventhough it is nothing. I used another company called Hawx and after 1 spray, the ants were gone ,but I am still tied into a contract with No mo pests even though their spraying for over a year still did not get rid of the ants. I would think they would guarantee their product or issue some kind of refund. I am tied into this contract with them until February **** and I will cancel as soon as I can and will not use them or recommend them to anyone.Business Response

Looking over this account, it looks like it was initially requested to be cancelled on 8/7 for personal medical reasons. The notes do not state that it was to be closed for any issues relating to pests. If this were the case, we do offer free reservices until the issues are gone. It does look like the customer never took advantage of these. We are happy to come out and treat for free in between the regular services as many times as necessary. Signed up for mole treatment and that is very ineffective even after 6+ re-service appts. It has been 3+ months since they started using baits and yard has only degrading further and no sign of any improvement.

Entered a contract with NOMO Pest Solutions in June of 2023. They promised to stand behind their product and provide retreatments as needed to ensure elimination of our pests. We have had repeated treatments with no success. NOMO also fails to respond to request for additional retreatments. We do have many photos, which we have emailed to NOMO, showing the continued issues. You cannot even walk in our front entry without being swarmed by bugs. We are cleaning bugs from our windows, shades, bathroom counters, floors, etc. continuously. I called NOMO to cancel the service due to their failure to uphold the promises in the contract, without penalty. The service rep I spoke with was rude, refused to allow me to speak with a supervisor and stated they could send someone back out again. After months of failure to succeed at what a previous provider was successful at, I did not want them out again, I wanted to cancel. Their follow up and customer service is appalling. My only request is that they do not charge us the $164 cancellation fee for failing to provide services as outlined in the contract.Business Response

Hello. Nomo Pest Solutions has been going door to door in my neighborhood with what I believe to be predatory sales practices. After signing up for $129, I experienced poor service, difficulty contacting the business (constantly busy phone lines), and missed scheduled appointments which caused me to miss work.. Upon trying to terminate my service, I was charged an additional $160. I wish for the company to refund $160 to me. Thank you.Business Response

Upon signing the agreement, the customer agrees to this statement - "If for any reason, at any time, the contract is cancelled before its completion, and the initial service has been performed, customer agrees to pay the full initial service
charge". The $160 is that initial discount applied back onto the account since the customer chose to terminate the account early. We are always happy to set up as many free reservices needed to get rid of any pest issues the customer is still dealing with. This business continues to come to my house and ring my doorbell when I have a No Soliciting sign on my door due to us having someone sleeping at all times. They have now done this on 4 occasions in the last month and I have read where this is a habit of theirs to ignore these signs. I contacted City Hall and they say there are no permits for any door to door sales right now so they should not be doing this and they have no business license to do work in our City, so any contracts people sign are being performed upon without a required business license. Please STOP bothering people who are trying to sleep and clearly post no soliciting signage, it is disrespectful.Business Response

Just had the WORST experience with them. Tried them out because they gave me an introductory low cost service and I figured why not. Technician showed up for follow up service but didn't have all of the equipment needed. I politely tried to cancel and they informed me that I would have to pay a $200 cancellation fee, in order to break my agreement with them. Was never told about this when I signed up for the initial service. Incredible that they think holding ****** "hostage" in a service agreement is an ethical way of doing business.Business Response

They were suppose to come out four times but they stated that they came to my house two times. I have never seen them at my house. They were suppose to put some kind of granule's down and maybe spray. There was no evidence of granule's anywhere I could see being put on my yard. We always want to provide the very best for our customers. We offer a pest free guarantee, which is why we are happy to come out and do a reservice for free as many times as needed for the customer to feel confident about the service. It looks like we already have a reservice scheduled for July 5th at which point we will treat those areas again. Our technicians are required to leave a report of what they did and what products they use, which are included on the first two services rendered. I was approached by a gentleman named ***************** selling pest control for ***** I talked to him about how we have had other companies out here before and how we really dont have a problem at our home with bugs that all we really have issues with are flies and moles. Well nomo does nothing for flies and their treatment for moles is the use of Talprid worms in active runs which I do not have. But i decided to let them in as a preventative thing just incase. They came and sprayed the first application on 4/12/2023 and when they did they sprayed their product inside my home with my 3 year old present. Needless to say 5 hours later my son was violently ill and so I brought this to Dakotas attention in which he assured me the product is not in any way harmful to humans. We have also had more bugs in our home and my wife and son have bites all over them since trusting these people to keep them out. If you dont tell them to spray certain areas they just spot spray here and there. Fast forward to the most recent visit on 6/1/2023. The gentleman shows up and yet again spot sprays areas and puts down a granular insectiside in the back yard which none of it has done a thing. I get swarmed by **** now and this was never an issue. When i tell him my wife and son are being bitten since them being here he hands me glue traps and says put these down. Best part though is I am told by him he CAN NOT spray inside with children and pets present. That they have to stay out of the treated area until dry. So they lied and caused my child to become poisoned by their product. I do not want these people back at my home and they can forget the excuses from the owner about how none of this is true and their product is safe and whatever else he has to say. I do not want to hear it. If something would have happend to my son he would not want to meet me thats for sure. I just want out of their "contract" and do not contact me again.Business Response

If there are any issues with products, we recommend reaching out to the company that supplies our products, as we apply them according to the label. I agreed to quarterly treatments. In my mind (this was not specified by the teenager selling the service) that means 4 service dates. When I tried to cancel they said it would be a 200$ fee. I only had one service left (I thought) so I continued to save money. Next service date I tried to confirm that my contract was fulfilled, they said no, I signed up for 5 service dates. Refused to let me cancel without a $200 fee. So I allowed the final service to happen, again trying to save $. The 5th service was scheduled. I confirmed that this was the last service on my contract. It was confirmed! Yeah! Finally. Because more than half of the time I called to complain that my cameras showed the tech not even getting out of their vehicle and still charging me $130. I complained every single service date with the exception of when I made them schedule an appointed time to meet me, and the tech actually followed through. Twice they didn't meet me at the agreed time, and didn't treat my lawn or home, still charged me, and I had to schedule a "reservice" for something that wasn't done in the first place. How could 5 service dates be this difficult? It gets worse. My contract is now over, and the company is saying that I didn't formally submit a cancelation request, and I'm required to give them 30 days notice. They are now charging me an additional $130 to cancel my contract(that was fulfilled on my end, not on their end, due to charges for undelivered services.) I called and said that I've told them several times that I was canceling as soon as my end of the agreement was met, but **** said I was unwilling to have a conversation and hung up on me. This was me asking him to email me whatever it is that I need to submit to cancel, do what he has to do, and I'll do what I have to(contact bbb and possibly a lawyer.) I called back, the billing department this time, had the same conversation with another person, and she canceled my account but says I have to pay $130 to do so. Help!Business Response

I was bamboozled by this company and suckered into a year long contract with them. When they came to my door soliciting their services I asked him if I agreed to their offer can they wait until Friday to run my card because thats when I got paid. He said yes. No sooner than they got my card information they ran it. I called them to ask about our agreement and to complain, while I was on the phone with the rude lady she started sending recordings to my email of me verbally agreeing to their services. They didnt apologize for the teenager lying to me, instead I was reminded of the contract that I just entered into and how much itll cost me if I broke it. During the term of my contract I had a heart attack and stroke on the same day. I was in the hospital for a while and off work for about 6 months. They were emailing me and calling me about my contract payments. I informed them of why I couldnt pay. They would not relieve me of my contract but instead charged me late fees for every month that they didnt receive a payment. It was also stated in the contract that I had to inform them in writing 30 days in advance if I didnt plan on renewing my contract with them. While in the hospital I sent them an email letting them know I wasnt renewing, I sent it early because of memory problems since the stroke. I had to wait closer until the end of my contract to inform them again that I wasnt renewing their services. When I did inform them again the rude lady ended my contract right then and there. I still had about 6 weeks left of service that I had paid for but didnt receive. I would never recommend or use their services. I still had over a month left that I paid for but didnt receive any service because of how she ended my contract that day I gave them notification of not renewing instead of at the scheduled end of contract term. When they made it clear that you had to let them know in advance if you werent renewing. Just shady business dealings.Business Response

There is an agreement and welcome call on the account, which is what we follow for the length of services. We offered a payment plan to break down the service charge, so it is more manageable. We want to work with customers and be flexible, which is one of the reasons we offer payment plans. I am rejecting this response because how does anything mentioned in your response relate to my service that I paid for ended earlier than what was in the contract? I requested not to renew not to have my service cancelled some 30 plus days earlier than what I paid for. If I had ended it more than 30 days prior to the contract you would’ve harassed me and charged me for the full service as stated in the contract. It’s really an unfair business practice and somewhat shady dealings.
