Before purchasing car shield I was told that the modifications done to my car would have been fine. And still covered under car shield policy. Once there was a claim filed they went back on there word and would not cover my car. I am now without a vehicle and out of at least 500$. They give you a run around and bounce you between departments to keep you chasing your tail.

1 starRun the other way, I was a diamond member of car shield for over a year and for the past two month Ive been fighting to get them to pay for the repairs, first thing they rejected was the throttle body motor , gasket,? Im not an expert and they refused to pay for it, so that was $750.00 out of pocket the next thing was something like a cam fav Im not sure but it was going to cost $4500.00 to repair but of coarse car shield would only repair it if the garage would take the heads off and take picture and send them into them, garage said they had another customer went through the same thing and ******************** refused to pay and they where stuck with not only tearing it down to take pictures of the problem then they where stuck paying for the repairs repairs, the garage said it was covered under our policy but they just wont pay up, Im sorry if this doesnt make since Im not a car expert but I am going to tell you your best bet would be to open a savings account and put $100.00 a month so if anything goes wrong you can take care of it yourself, ****** learned and now I have to come up with $4500.00 for repairs this company is a scam and rip off, will be talking to somebody to make this right.Review fromRegina G

1 starHello I am a car shield let me retract that I was a car shield member an if we decide to move ahead and take d pay for repairs they come up with any excuse to make it your fault they do not want to cover your rental and you're paying all this money I spent $1,000 and I did a paid all that for nothing for a year when I actually needed to use them so buyer beware I wouldn't do it also nobody has that anymore because they do not pay you can ask all these different other places they will not ***** car shield. I wish I could do this without leaving any portion of a star at all!! I have paid a monthly premium to these crooks for about two years. I tried to get help to pay for a problem with my gear shift. I had to use a screw driver in a hole to change gears and it was a $700 job. They said no. I wish I had cancelled then but I let it go. I just tried to cancel because of hard times and not affording my premiums. I went online to Car Shield and canceled and got confirmation I was canceled. A week later they sucked another premium from my bank. I called the number I saw in my bank draft. I was told by a rude woman that I canceled with the wrong people. What??!! She said I canceled with the finance end (Mepco) instead of ******** ****. What?! I never heard of ******** **** and what about Car Shield? We argued a bit and she would not refund the payment. She did say she canceled me but who knows. I’m going to tell my bank not to accept payments because I do not trust them at all. BEWARE!!!!CarShield

I receive a letter from CarShield that my 2017 Dodge Challenger factory warranty had expired but it was not too late to activate a service contract There was a problem. I do not own and have never owned a 2017 Dodge Challenger. When I called the number they could not or would not tell me where they got the information. I think this company must be a fake or a scammer or else why would they send out false information Be very suspicious of this company and read other reviews There seems to be many bad reviews about themCarShield

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. Please DO NOT WASTE YOR TIME OR YOUR MONEY!!! I have been going back and forth with them about my SUV. I have the Gold package, and although everything that is wrong with my truck is listed under the coverage, they are denying my claim. They will not provide for a rental car either while my truck is in the shop. At this point, my car has been at the repair shop for 6 days. They refuse to pay to get my car fixed, and when I requested a number to speak to someone else, they gave me the number, but said that it will take 3 days to deal with that process. Three more days that I am without my car. More than likely, it still won't be fixed. So now I am going to have to come out of my own pocket to pay over $2900 to get everything fixed. This company is a scam. I am extremely disappointed that I put my trust in this company. I wish I had read these other reviews first. I listened to my friend, got this coverage, and now I'm screwed.CarShield
