I tried calling and canceling before my due date, but you were closed, I even sent an email, I even called first thing Monday to cancel, but by then the funds were already taken out of my account, I told the woman I wanted a refund, she said I couldn't receive a refund, even though I called and canceled the same day the funds were taken from my account. Also I took my car into the shop twice and NOTHING was covered.

After researching all day and reading countless reviews, I am feeling greatly worried. All that I am reading online seems to be happening to me. I had my car towed into the dealership. After spending 1 day and a half over the phone by facilities on the preferred list saying they wouldn't work with CarShield if their lives depended on it. They have willingly taken my money since I signed up 2 months ago, but the dealership who reluctantly took my car said they were still waiting to hear from them and when I called CarShield, they told me they have no heard from the dealer. Someone is lying here! My vehicle has a turbo issue and when I called CarShield to tell them, they said they would make notes. I found it strange how the rep began to refer me to the fine print of the contract by reading it verbatim when I did not ask her to. As if to say, regardless of what is wrong, we will find a loophole. Needless to say I am afraid the dealer is going to call me saying they have denied my claim. I hate this and if they won't help me, I will demand a full refund. I see in the BBB complaints they willingly offer premium refunds. If they are truly a scam, shame on these celebs for lying for them and pushing this scam. I mean as a consumer, it makes you wonder, what celebrity needs an extended car warranty, don't they buy cars on a whim? CarShield, you better stop ripping consumers off. I refuse to be your next victim. Word of mouth is a powerful form of advertisement. I will go as high as I have to in order to reveal any sham you try to pull on me. Many consumers said they tore down the cars and even denied the cost to put back together, so consumers were screwed and left with inoperable vehicles that were driven into the repair facilities and now they are not able to drive them because they are torn down. This is unreal. I will not be the next victim. Carshield do what is right and stand by your products!*************************** Contract #**********

I finally have some money coming in on a regular basis and I decided to take Car Shield up on their continued letters and calls to take care of my vehicle if anything happened to it, because I knew I wouldn't be able to pay for a transmission or something like that if anything happened to my car. So I received the contract and start reading and it's not long till you get to the parts about exclusions to the claim process and anyone can see that they are not going to pay for any claim whatsoever! I mean seriously there isn't anything that you could say or do about your vehicle, they have a reason to exclude payment for your claim. I'm cancelling this contract before the ink is dry, if you get my drift. So I call Car Shield to cancel and they try to sweet talk you into staying with them saying "oh don't be reading all those reviews they are wrong" I said "lady I don't have to read a review, all I'm reading is your contract, and that is where I get my information from!" So people we are all going to have to start reading the Terms and Conditions of the contract before we sink a bunch of money into a fraudulent company! I'm glad I did!

They are always happy when you are making a payment. Had subscribed for over 3 years and the first claim was denied. 1K out of pocket. 6 months later a new claim was submitted and after 1 week they said they would pay some of it ( not the nuts and bolts to hold it on and not the deductable but the rest). however we had to wait for car shield to send the part. ( this is a part the repair facility had in stock) and were waiting and were waiting and were waiting 3 weeks. And they send the wrong part. no rental car reimbursement. nothing. they don't call us, we call to be told we are waiting to find out about reimbursement, wrong delivery, matching part.Ridiculous. Should have just saved the amount we paid each month.

Anyone who purchases Carshield is just asking to be ripped off for however many months they deduct from your credit card. I took my car in for some work to be done, got a call back from my mechanic (who's serviced my vehicles for over 12 years) saying that my policies weren't in force long enough. Apparently, there's a mileage cap in addition to the 20 days that the salesperson specifically says. Then there are the multiple exclusions. I understand normal 'wear-and-tear' like shocks, brakes, etc., but a thermostat is excluded under the cooling system coverage. I'm sure hoses are excluded as well.DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, SIGN UP WITH CARSHIELD.

CarShield requested that the Administrator of your Vehicle Service Contract examine your claim based on the review you have provided. The results of this investigation indicate that the failure of the parts requested for replacement occurred prior to the purchase of the Vehicle Service Contract or during the waiting period of the Vehicle Service Contract. Therefore, this failure is not covered by the Vehicle Service Contract.

That's exactly the point. When I purchased the plans, the salesperson NEVER mentioned a minimum number of miles . . . only a 20-day waiting period.

I cancelled this policy...so i thought. but my bank statement indicated i was STILL changed after my original request to cancel. Im retired and on fixed income, so you can imagine my suprise when money was TAKEN from my account after telling representative I wanted to cancel policy a month ago. I then called back and got a representative that apparently did not understand what " Please cancel my policy" meant. After going back and forth FIVE times she still would not cancel policy. I told her specifically... I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND AND WOULD LIKE TO CANCEL POLICY.. still she would not do it. I finally lost my temper and hung up on her. The next day THEY actually called back stating I was rude to there representative!!! Yes, the one that would NOT cancel my policy after i requested it to be done FIVE times! Not to mention the money they stole from me. I say stole because they took MY money anyway even after i cancelled the first time. Consumer to consumer....this company and the people who work for them have no regard others and try to make it as difficult as possible to cancel them. I hope this complaint saves someone from the grief of this company.

This has been the worst experience with any company EVER! I have had them over a year now and this is the first time I've had to use it. My transmission is going out. First they gave the garage the runaround and will not tell us, the paying customer anything. Have called everyday for a resolution. Its always an excuse as to why they do not have an approval for my claim. I NEED MY CAR. HAVE TO WORK. Its a transmission. Not brain surgery. How could you do such fasle advertisement to hard working people!?

    Date: 06/13/2022

Car Shield has offered to pay for my transmission only if they put a JUNKYARD, UNTESTED TRANSMISSION IN MY CAR. Their administrator admitted that they have to take the cheapest way out to protect the business!

CarShield is the worst warranty company I ever dealt with. My car needed a new engine (which I am covered for). My car broke down in March and they did not fix it until June. I was without a car for 3 months and could not get a rental or loaner from dealer. Then when it was finally fixed. I was told beforehand that the engine was completely covered for the $8,000 that it cost. When they finally sent me the check for my car (which was already fixed) they only sent me a check for $5,000 which meant I had to come out of pocket $3,000 in order to get my car out of the repair shop, which I was not expecting to pay anything. They were not truthful with the price of the coverage, it took over three months and cost me a lot of money out of pocket when I pay them monthly for full coverage for my car. I should have been walking away just paying my $100 deductible. My advise to anyone that is looking for extended warranty on your vehicles. DO NOT USE CARSHIELD.

I purchased CarShield 2 months ago the turbo on my Mini Cooper broke and they are saying it was a previous issue and are looking for any excuse to not cover the repair asking me for records of oil changes receipts for the oil filter and oil purchased because I do my own oil changes and most of the maintenance on my vehicle so my car has been at the dealer waiting on an adjuster to approve the repairs ?? this is not a good way to do business I was supposed to get a car rental that’s not approved until the repair is approved they made me pay for the diagnosis of the repair because that’s not covered either. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY THIS CarShield company is a SCAM !!!!!!! I had to take Uber home a 45 minute ride a lost day of work waiting on approval which didn’t happen and now having to go rent a car out of pocket because of there scam . I want all of my $$$ back from this company ASAP !!!!
