    My chevy silverado broke down on 5/25/22 of this year it has been three weeks today and I find out they are not going to cover it to be fixed, they first tell me that chevyland in Shreveport la are going to have to break it down and I'm going to pay thousands of dollars up front before they will pay anything, then I've got to have maintenance receipts for 12 months, then explain why I drive 100 miles a day, I'm beyond angry right now, what do I do now. **** ******* ********* **

    Carshield is a bad business they treat there customers with no respect give no help on a rental car run up bills leaving it for you to pay very long wait time on repairs on your vehicle almost a month waiting they will order the wrong part and leave it for you to pay for their mistakes and they feud with the repair shop to waste time so your rental car bill run’s up And breach of contract Not getting the service done in a timely manner just sad I can’t believe it but I have to go through something like this there’s no help they should be ashamed of their selves.This is a place that I wouldn’t recommend

    I bought this policy thinking that I would be completely covered if I needed a repair. Instead of covering my repair, car shield came up with some reason not to cover my claim which was the complete opposite of what my mechanic said telling them. They said I had corrosion on my rack and pin. But my mechanic said that it wasn't. So CARSHIELD sends out their own people that they PAY to ask for pictures only to give a second opinion in THEIR own favor....... This is how they hustle you out of your money. They don't care what your license mechanic has to say, they only care about avoiding paying large cost. Its just about making profits for them. So they make up a loop hole so they don't have to pay. CARSHIELD has multiple complaints in the ****s that are similar and have an F rating by the BBB. Very disappointed.

    We took out a CarShield Policy a little over a month ago, asked that they send us a copy of the policy in the mail, they said they would. the other day we got a notice from some outfit saying that monthly fee was going to be increase, we decided to cancel. and then realized we had not received anything from CarShield. The Only way we could find how to cancel was at our bank. since we did monthly payments through that bank. even though we never received any info and was only 3 days past they said we would not get a refund. We could of kept on paying without having any proof of policy, they could of refused any work as not having a policy.

    I was told by my mechanic that I needed a new timing chain. It took 10 business days for an inspector to go out to look at my engine. The Adjustor named *********** (they will not reveal last names or allow you to talk to the Adjustor) denied my claim because it would have cost them a lot of money to repair. They stated I was negligent in performing maintenance which is false. I have been without a car for 2 weeks.

    I purchased the Powertrain Gold w/Labor & Turbo Plan and was given the best sales pitch ever. I started having A/C trouble, which is covered under my plan, so I called around to both local mechanics and dealerships and received the same answer from all 4 places - they do not take CarShield because of the difficulty of dealing with them. All places said that CarShield would initially say they would pay claims and then find reasons to exclude the work done. All places stopped taking this coverage. I bought the policy to help with unexpected expenses not to gain an expense. I never used the plan and when I needed to I couldn't. Total waste of money.

    It is not worth the money because they don't cover nothing. I was told that I was on a good plan but when my truck was having problems I took it to the shop and found out that I had engine problems. So I let them know what the shop said to put a claim in and they denied it. My only transportation so I had to get a rental because I have little kids thinking they would reimburse me but they wouldn't and I had to pay for my own engine plus rental and pay them. They are not good at all.

    I have three cars supportly covered by this fraudulent company. Two fake covered for over a year & the other a little over a month because my extended warranty expired. Needless to say that one of my vehicles broke down. All covered for 30 days or more, transmission when out. 12 months maintenance recommended, 24 months provided for the dealership. Including the service of the transmission within the last twelve months along with a statement that I did several times because they said that they don't have it. Had a few leaks also that was automatically denied because of the catch all preexisting clause. Next came the we're not denying the transmission repair but in order to get approval we need the get the results a code that was a code for hybrid battery or whatever. Also wanted the complete broke down of the transmission to find out what parts had failed that I had to pay for. I'm a disabled veteran on a fixed income with disabilities & this vehicle is my means of transportation. Basically I have been given the run around for over thirty days. But have been taking withdrawals from my bank account. The fake coverage that they claim is the platinum service that covers everything but wire harnesses. Also says that they will provide a rental car but the catch is about approval. Not faulting anyone but I'm a disabled veteran with disabilities and I being treated like this. I must that is a ************** day that you're nothing more that a paycheck for a dollar ****. Veteran soldier, Sgt. ******

    Cant go to any shops especially dealerships will not take CarShield because they take too long to pay and dont wanna pay for parts also couple of automotive shops I called gave me the same answer so I cant take my vehicle anywhere because the shops will not except CarShield

    Dont even Rate 1 star ,so dissatisfied with the Car Shield policy , they didnt honor the policy when it was surely covered under the drive train parts these people want your money not to help you minus ten stars in my book.
