This business is on the verge of a scam. They will not tell you who the main supervisor of the company is and they will not provide headquarter information. My child had a boot put on their car and I needed to pay to have it removed. They would not take payment over the phone and I was directed that all the information I needed was on the website. The website states nothing about it having to be a physical card or cash. The site clearly states they take debit and credit cards. They also advertise they take PayPal. When I offered to pay with PayPal they stuttered and then told me the machines do it and they still need a physical card????? that is not how PayPal even works. I wouldn't be surprised if the cash is pocked and never even given to the company. This is awful customer service. If leaving no stars was an option that is what I would choose.LMS Parking Enforcement

Hello,
LMS Parking manages and enforces parking rules and regulations on private property in accordance with local ordinances. To combat the potential of credit card fraud, over the phone payments are not accepted. The card holder must be present to make a payment via their credit or debit card. All agents are equipped with body cameras and all interactions are recorded.

Car was booted for parking in a VISITOR parking spot. There's only one small sign that's hard to read at night. The sign does NOT come off as a warning sign. No red letters, no fines posted, etc. Obvious predatory behavior. This company needs to be shut down. Definitely not going to just let this 200 dollars go. These people have probably never had to work hard for 200 dollars a single day in their lives.LMS Parking Enforcement

On December 11, 2022 my car was wrongfully booted even though I had my parking permit visibly showing in my car window. When I called the number that was left to remove the boot, I encountered more wrong for communication. No one return my countless phone calls only communicated through text messages. And when someone finally came to remove the boot, the person saw me looking out my window, watching them remove the boot that person threw up a finger sign and a gang sign, clearly communicating a threat I took pictures of his behavior. I contacted the leasing office who then contacted LMS. LMS parking representative was even more harassing than the person who removed the boot. His tone was harsh. He was insensitive, and didn’t even apologize. I a day another rep from the company called me. His tone was softer. He was apologetic, unlike the previous rep.
My vehicle should have never been booed it when my tag was clearly displaced in my car window for anyone to see. (I wish I could post pictures to show you the persons behavior who remove the boot)LMS Parking Enforcement

That may be the case NOW, but it WAS NOT the case when the tragic event happened to me. I STILL have ALL pictures, ALL the text messages, email from the community manager, and I have a voicemail from the representative of your company.Review fromBrittany M.

I got booted at legacy 521 apartments in charlotte NC visiting a friend. They charged me 50.00 for a boot. In which they are not supposed to charge over that amount. Also they took over 3 hours to remove the boot and they are supposed to have a sign at every entrance and they don’t. Actions will be taken out on this company. The employees are ghetto and rude. I don’t mind paying a fee if I’m in the wrong but, what they are doing is money hungry.LMS Parking Enforcement

This is the worst towing/booting company in the city of Charlotte NC... The owner is very rude he wouldn't give his name when asked. He booted my mother inlaw she was parked for 5 mins just to drop something off. She is on oxygen and can't walk very far. She had to pay 180 dollars for only 5 mins. Very unprofessional there is no time frame on there signs of when you will have to leave. Action will be taken out on this company and money will be paid back and some. There RATING is 0. They are just looking for money..smh sadLMS Parking Enforcement

Rude, disrespectful, unprofessional. Just looking to take people's money. So glad my complex will be cutting ties with this company. Agent tells me it's irrelevant to know when they started towing n locking wheels in my community. If u can't answer the customer's questions when they call before paying the ridiculous fees, you shouldn't be in business. I'm the one that's been inconvenienced, not u.LMS Parking Enforcement

The city of Boone should not allow this targeting of Appalachian students with vague or no signage and unclear information given to residence that pay lots of $$$$$ for rent. The residents evidently are not informed clearly where to tell their guests to park. Innocent people are being targeted for lots of money for no good reason. $160.00 to visit a friend or you can pay $140.00 cash just screams corruption. I think a warning should be given first. LMS Parking Enforcement should not target students. Whoever is lining their pockets with money from these students and their parents should not cut the hand off that feeds them.LMS Parking Enforcement

I would leave zero stars if that was possible . This has to be one of the most unprofessional businesses I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with. I call to have a boot removed and I’m told 20-30 minutes. After nearly an hour I get a call from a random number (not the one I was told to call ) telling me that he is now going to be an additional hour before he can get to me. Not to mention that I happen to live in the complex and had no idea that I had to switch new car over as a temporary vehicle in their system. I put my sticker from my other car in this one thinking they would have no reason to bother it. I don’t want to hear anything about the addendum quite frankly it’s clear that their aim has been to make it as confusing and wordy as possible. Honestly their whole business model seems to be built on this. Once I informed them that I am a resident , instead of letting me switch things over and removing the boot. They still insist on a $180 dollar fee. When booting my girlfriends new car , they scraped her rims. The coating that is supposed to be on their boots clearly isn’t working. They purposely put a small sign on the property so that those visiting are unaware of these policies. It’s honestly shameless greed and it’s very sad to see. Business is business but the lack of morals or even sound judgment is alarming to say the least.LMS Parking Enforcement

I have been living in my apartment complex since September of 2022 and of course I was given an LMS sticker to be put on my windshield upon moving in. For 5 months my sticker stayed in the same spot of my front windshield and for those same 5 months I never once received a boot on my car and I've never been towed or ticketed.
All of a sudden I was wrongfully booted for quote, "not having a parking sticker" on my windshield. Which is funny because I'm literally forced to look at that annoying, ugly sticker every single day. The person I spoke with on the phone informed me that the company had a photo for proof, but they could not provide me, the victim, with said photograph. So basically what they mean is their photo proof is irrelevant at this point. I refused to pay since I was in the right, obviously, and had been in the right for the past 5 months. After I politely told the woman on the phone that I simply was not paying $160-$180 to take the boot that was wrongfully put on, off, she then proceeded to hang up on me.
Unfortunately since the LMS Parking management/staff were both incredibly rude and refused to take accountability for THEIR mistake, I was forced to inconvenience my apartment management to inform them of the situation in hand. Luckily, my apartment management is very kind, knows me personally, and the person in particular who helped me was the one who gave me my LMS parking sticker in the first place.
In the end, I didn't have to pay for the boot, thanks to my apartment management. Just a request to LMS Parking - invest in better staff who actually do their job correctly. I didn't think something as simple as having a pair of working eyes to see a parking sticker at night was TOO hard of a task, but clearly I was mistaken. Oh and it was nice to see that the person booted AND hung up on me was riding around in a nice looking Mercedes. LOL. It's obvious this has been done A LOT. This company couldn't be more of a money-grab.LMS Parking Enforcement

Hello,
Vehicle permits must be properly displayed according to the parking addendum signed by all residents. The parking addendum states "(The Permit) must be visible in the bottom left of the front windshield of the vehicle on the driver's side." If the permit is placed in any other position than what is listed the vehicle is at risk of being wheel locked.

This company is just awful. My apartment complex started using them in back in the fall, got my permit sticker on the car everything was fine. I had to switch cars so I called to get a new one, they said I need the sticker or else I would have to pay for new one (we didn't have to pay initially). The guy on the phone told me once I get the pass from the old car to call them back with info on the new car. I have been trying to call everyday for last 3 weeks. I have left at least 5 voicemails asking to be called back so I dont get a wheel lock. Called this morning and a guy told me to call back after 9AM. I have now called a total of 4 times with no answer and sent to voicemail. I just need my car updated so I don't get a lock!
They have also added signs in visitor spots that you now need to register those too. This is ridiculous, no one answers the phone, no one returns calls. They just want money!LMS Parking Enforcement

Hello,
You can always go online to www.lmspermits.com to fill out the vehicle registration form. Your community charges for replacement permits not LMS Parking, that charge is up to them. If you have the permit originally issued out to you then in the form where it asks "Do you need a replacement permit" you can check off "no".
