      Had issues during Covid with no work and paying my bills. I was able to set up a payment plan with them. I proceeded to work with Freedom Financial. I was told that they would work with ****************. Bank of America has gone thru the courts three times now trying to obtain their money, and all three times were dismissed. And now they are trying again to garnish my wages. We've been loyal customer for over thirty years and are treating me terribly. I'll be closing my account out once this mess is over and done. I might talk my husband to close his account also and am letting others know the treatment that I've received. They haven't tried working with me and have expected high expectations. Bank of America is only concerned about themselves and not a customer of over thirty years

      I am writing to formally file a complaint against Bank of America for refusing to remove unauthorized charges totaling $186.62 from my Bank of America credit card account. These transactions occurred on April 21 and 22, 2025, and include foreign transaction fees that I did not authorize or initiate.Despite notifying Bank of America and emailing Ms. ***** ******, I have not received a satisfactory resolution. I clearly stated that I did not make these purchases and requested that the charges be removed immediately. However, the bank has failed to take appropriate action to resolve this dispute in a fair and timely manner.Below is a breakdown of the disputed transactions:* April 21, 2025 $7.45 | Foreign Transaction Fee: $0.22 * April 21, 2025 $11.77 | Foreign Transaction Fee: $0.35 * April 22, 2025 $34.99 | Foreign Transaction Fee: $1.04 * April 22, 2025 $16.74 | Foreign Transaction Fee: $0.50 * April 22, 2025 $77.98 | Foreign Transaction Fee: $2.33 These charges were not authorized by me, and I have no knowledge of the merchants or locations involved. I have acted promptly in reporting the issue, yet Bank of America continues to uphold these fraudulent transactions against my ********** a long-time customer, I am both disappointed and frustrated with the lack of concern and accountability demonstrated in this matter. I respectfully request the assistance of the Better Business Bureau in facilitating a resolution and having these unauthorized charges reversed, along with any fees or penalties that have resulted from them.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,?******* ****** ********

      For the past six weeks, I have been tryingunsuccessfullyto resolve a serious issue with Bank of America. I made the mistake of enrolling online for a checking account and initiated an opening deposit of $1,000. That money was misapplied, and despite numerous attempts to get answers, no one at *** has been ableor willingto resolve the issue.Each time I call, I am on hold for no less than 1 hour and 45 minutes. When I finally reach a representative, Im transferred from department to department, often spending up to two hours on hold each time. Representatives have provided false information, including claims that the refund was rejected by the initiating bankwhich was untrue. Ive also been told Im being transferred to departments that dont exist, only to be placed back in the call queue with no resolution. No matter what number you call, it all goes to the same place.Repeatedly, Ive been put on hold under the pretense of an "investigation," which appears to be nothing more than a stalling tactic. No one seems to have access to accurate information, and instead of transparency, I'm met with dishonesty and indifference.Thankfully, the bank that initiated the transfer is now stepping in to force a reversal. But this comes after six weeks of frustration, wasted time, and deceptive treatment from *** representatives.I intend to file formal complaints with the following regulatory agencies:1. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC)2. *************** 3. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)4. Consumer Financial ***************** (CFPB)Bank of America should be investigated thoroughlyjust as **************** wasfor these negligent and potentially unethical practices.       16-Year Customer Betrayed ********************** Is a Predatory Institution Hiding Behind a Patriotic Name After over 16 years of being a loyal Bank of America customer, I can confidently say this is one of the most predatory, money-hungry institutions in the country. Its astonishing that a bank which once accepted taxpayer-funded bailouts has the ******** to implement policies that actively harm the very customers who kept them afloat.Their outdated technology and convoluted bill pay system in 2025 make it difficult by design to pay off balances. I experienced this firsthand, leading me to sever ties with their banking services. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of keeping my credit card open for the sake of preserving my long-standing credit history a history that included 15+ years of perfect payments.That is, until Bank of America tanked it.Without proper alerts or functional systems in place, I missed a payment my first ever and only found out through my credit report. No warning, no ****** no accountability. When I called to explain the issue and highlight the glitchy, non-user-friendly experience, I was told there was nothing they could do.Let me be clear: Bank of Americas policies are designed not to help, but to hurt. They hide behind a national name while engaging in archaic, consumer-hostile practices. This is not a bank that values loyalty, responsibility, or fairness.If youre considering doing business with Bank of America dont. You deserve better than an institution that punishes good customers and hides behind red, white, and blue branding to justify unethical behavior.

      As a small business owner, I opened a business credit card with Bank of America and followed your bankers advice to ignore the corporate account and only pay the credit card. I was told this corporate account was just an umbrella and not something to worry about. That advice turned out to be wrong. By the time I discovered the truth, the account had accrued nearly $30,000 and thousands of dollars in feesall while I was doing what your staff advised.I visited the ********** location and asked ******* ******** for help. I pointed out that the corporate account had a dollar sign next to it and showed him $600 in monthly fees. He didnt know what it meant and called his manager, ******* *****, who also said it was probably nothing. I insisted on answers, and after three hours and multiple calls to customer service, I left with no real explanation or accountability.A few months later, I met with Umber ******* at the Meyerland branch. She made calls, uncovered the mistake, and clearly stated that the bank was at fault. Thanks to her, I was refunded half the fees. But the rest was denied, and I was still not offered a fair payment planjust continued penalties and interest for something I was told to ignore.Ive spent more than a year trying to get this resolved. Ive made countless visits and calls. Only one banker truly helped. The rest either gave me wrong information or passed me off. Im still paying thousands of dollars for an error that Bank of America caused. As a woman-owned small business, I expected better. Whats happened here feels not only negligent but *************** requesting a full refund of the fees and a chance to pay off the actual credit balancewithout the added interest and penalties that resulted from the banks mistake. I also hope to speak with a knowledgeable and empowered representative who can make this right.

      Extremely disappointed with Bank of Americas customer service.I paid off my full credit card balance of $4,770 before the next billing cycle and yet I was still charged a $42.13 interest fee. I called customer service thinking it was a simple fix, but instead I was transferred from one department to another for almost an hour with zero resolution.Nobody took responsibility. No one reversed the charge. Just a waste of time and energy over something that shouldve never happened if the system and customer support actually worked. The supervisor added that he can't reverse the interest charge due to it being declined by the fraud department.Ive been a loyal customer, but this experience makes me seriously question continuing to bank with them. Avoid if you value clear billing and respectful support. I'm closing my account once my payment for the interest charge cleared.

      Absolutely horrible customer service! Let a company pull out money, unauthorized and said it could take 45 days to get back. For 3 days now Ive been missed informed by multiple representatives everyone u talk to gives u a different answer absolutely horrible!!! If you want to NOT be able to access your money use them! A Financial bank that doesnt know how to properly handle your money!

      I received a email informing me of a possible duplicate payment. I contacted BoA and was on the phone with a CSR for 20 minutes. I provided all the requested information including my bank account information. After being placed on hold for approximately 15 minutes I was told that the duplicate payment could not ne reversed. To make things harder the person had strong accent that I could only understand half of the information she provided Use caution when dealing with BoA CSR's!

      I was informed via email that my credit card payment was made twice.I contacted a *** and provided her with all the information requested including my bank account info. I had been on hold for approximately 15 minutes and had to leave my residence. I was then informed that she was not able to make the credit because she did not have all of the information. I dont understand why she kept making me wait after providing all the info.Weak service personnel.

      I went to my local branch because my Debit card stopped working today and I'm going to be traveling next week. Replacement in 10 business days is not an option. The young lady who helped me was totally not helpful. I left without getting my issue resolved.

      This company you do not want to deal with! They will monitor your credit score, decrease your credit limit to almost nothing. Even if you are in good standing with them. Do not apply for a credit card with them.

      Out of all the credit cards I have, this is the only one that will monitor your credit and decrease the limit as they see fit. Do not apply for a credit card with Bank of America.
