      Oct 9th and Nov 10th they took extra money out of my account for a car wash subscription. Will not answer my calls. I noticed lots of other complaints on their ******** page and they shut off or deleted comments.

      I have had a membership for a year. This was my happy place on a bad day. On 09/17/24, I went to the carwash at *************************************************** As I was being pulled in the girl's face went into a panic. She stopped me and backed me out of the slot. When I got out of my car, my hubcap was bent and cracked. There were a few scratches in front of my tire. At first we thought my tire was punctured but it was fine. A report was written up which I asked for a copy of but was told no someone would contact me soon. As I was pulling back into the carwash I heard the manager ask the girl if I was following her direction or just driving. On Sept 20 I had heard nothing so I contacted by email. On Oct 3 I contacted by email again and it was not long I was called by the district manager. He wanted to know what I wanted him to say. I told him I had no contact and wanted to know what was going on with my claim. He told me my claim was denied. Now this was the first of heard of this. He said a 3rd party watched the video, and the girl pulled me in correctly. I told him i wish there was a video of her face because they would have seen a whole different view. He wound up making me mad and I hung up on him. A little while later I got an email from him stating per our conversation my claim is denied. I loved this car wash and the fact that they have many locations I could go to. I cancelled my subscription that day, no more money to a company who cares no more than this company does.

      We take all customers concerns seriously and conduct thorough investigations based on facts and evidence. The facts presented do not support the conclusion that Take 5 is at fault for the issues you are experiencing. 

      This damage claim was submitted as a denial due to there being no indication of equipment failure and no other related incidents around this time. There is not any equipment on the passenger side that would leave this type of damage.

      I stopped to get my car wash on October 27th and my driver side wiper arm was damaged due to the drying roller at the very end. My membership doesn't include that feature because my wiper always lifts up from the air dryer. I filed a complaint online with the company as soon as I got home on October 27th and cancelled my membership. I was advised to go back to the business and file a damage claim. I did that on October 30th. A photo was taken at the location. Was told by the attendant that I probably got someone else's wash. I had a truck in front of me and a car, maybe more, behind me as I was going through the car was. I got my car repaired on October 31st for a total cost of $180.35. I waited a week and checked back on the status of my claim in person. I spoke with the manager, I believe her name was **** *************.) She said it was pending. It's now a week later and still have not heard anything back from them.

      On 10/10/2024, I purchased what was advertised as a Lifetime Car Wash Membership. The associate told me it was a one time purchase of $16. Today I received another charge on my credit card of $16. This company deceived me by not telling me it was a recurring charge of $16. I did not sign up for this. When I tried to cancel the membership online today, I kept getting a response that my account could not be found, in spite of me inputting the numbers that were on the sticker as well as the receipt. I have enclosed a copy of the receipt that was given to me as well as the car tag sticker for verification.

      I've been contacting them over 100 times to cancel my membership and nobody is answering the phone. You can't continue to charge me monthly for a membership I've been trying to cancel. I walked to the office and they close the door in my face and said "closed come back later" I have pictures of the actual person sitting inside the place. CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP.

      I purchased the $20.00 monthly unlimited carwash online, my local take5 let me through manually several times without any question. At the end of October I tried going through to wash my car and the lady informed me I needed a sticker on my window, I was never provided a sticker, she told me to stop in the office and speak with the manager. I went to talk with the manager and she confirmed I needed the sticker, when I explained I made the purchase on-line she told me I needed to cancel the current membership then purchase the monthly membership with her. I tried to cancel the membership on-line but was unable because I did not have a RFID number, tried calling but was NEVER able to speak to anybody, left several voice message and NEVER had one call returned. In the month of October they charged my credit card twice! Came here to see if anybody else was having the same problem and it looks like this is a regular for them.....

      October 1, 2024 Re: Unauthorized charges from 161 Santa Fe Car Wash To Whom It May Concern:On May 15, 2023, I was passing by your carwash and saw a sign that said .99 monthly special. When I pulled in, the attendant told me that it was .99 for the first month, and then $29.99 after that. I asked if I could just do the one month and I was told YES. Great, I also asked if they would put a note on my account to cancel after the one month, I was again told yes. What ensued is that I was charged EVERY MONTH for the $29.99 AND I AM STILL BEING CHARGED!! You have charged me for 16 months for a total of $479.84. I have tried to call and cancel, and when I go through the phone system, I receive a message that I will get a text to manage my account. This text never comes. I have disputed the charges from 2024 with my credit card company, but they can only go back 3 months, and I only recently discovered that you are still charging me. Therefore, I am asking you to IMMEDIATELY stop all charges to my card and to issue a refund of the following charges. May 15, 2023 - .99 this is the only charge that was approved Charges that were not authorized June 15, 2023 - $29.99 July 15, 2023 - $29.99 August 15, 2023 - $29.99 September 15, 2023 - $29.99 October 15, 2023 - $29.99 November 15, 2023 - $29.99 December 15, 2023 - $29.99 January 15, 2024 - $29.99 February 15, 2024 - $29.99 March 15, 2024 - $29.99 April 15, 2024 - $29.99 Total owed - $329.89 I am not happy with this situation it is no way to do business by cheating people. 10/31/24 Addendum.       I am rejecting this response because:

      When I originally signed up with this business their employee told me verbally and also wrote on the agreement that I only wanted a one month subscription. I trusted this agreement. Now they have billed me for 17 months - they can see that I never used their services after the first month. This is bad faith on the part of the company. I also tried to cancel via the phone/text option and never received a text to cancel. My husband had to go down in person and request cancellation. I still assert that I am owed a refund. I communicated with the company that I would accept a 6 month refund, ($180) - which is less than half of what I have paid. They refused.

      On 10/19/24 I used the ** code from the local Take 5 car wash (on signs posted everywhere) to link to the company website. I then signed up for the recurring monthly unlimited service. I then proceeded to the car wash where my code for entry would not work. An employee came out and told me those codes don't work, did you sign up on the website? I said yes, I did. On the website that is posted all over the car wash. She then said the company memberships don't work there, and she doesn't know why. She then said I had to come inside to start a membership and make a payment. I refused, telling her I had just made a payment on the company app that clearly states the location I was at as being the one I was signing up for. Again, she said those don't work unless I sign up in the store directly. I asked for a cancel and refund since they said it 'won't work'. She said I would have to contact the company directly. For two weeks I have been attempting to contact the company. There is NO option to speak with a person. The only option is to fill out a contact form. I have done that several times. They have responded that my membership was cancelled but I have yet to be refunded my original money for services I was unable to use.Again, I am attempting to contact for the refund and they need to clearly state the location will not accept anything done on their website/app. I'm sure they are collecting for many people for no service.
