In May I visited the car wash located in *********** **** for a single car wash. Every month since, I have been charged $22 for a subscription. I did not approve of or sign up for a subscription. Their customer service does not list a phone number with an option to speak to a representative. The only option is an email. I have sent several emails and received no confirmation or response. Since I did not sign up for this, I have no account number, which is required to cancel the subscription online. When I stopped in to discuss with the local store, no manager was available. ******** called me back at a later time. When I talked to her, she informed me that she had no authority to cancel or manage subscriptions.Business Response

Take 4 car wash recurring payment not authorized I went to Take 5 car wash last month, where I was told I could pay $17.00 and get an additional car wash that month. They charged my card then handed me a card to complete for a recurring monthly payment. I declined and did not sign anything. The attendant said it was charged as recurring and said he went to his manager to reverse this. Apparently, it was not reversed because it is on my pending acct today. Please remove this. I signed nothing and did not request a recurring charge. This was fraudulent behavior on the part of Take 5 Car wash.Business Response

Take 5 Car Wash is signing customers up for memberships when they specifically say they want a single car wash. This happened to me and after looking at their ****** reviews I realized Im not alone and this has happened to others.Business Response

I was not here today. Don't understand how one of the employees stoled my chargecard. I never authorized legal consent to a membership. I was at location few weeks ago and your employee must have used my card number. I want my money back now. I tried to call all morning and do not have live person to speak too. I have no membership I never agreed legally to membership. It os under my assumption your employee stoled my credit card to use for membership. I want my money back now. And please if your employee signed ne up for membership without my lefal consent it need ti be canceled ****. I have no membership and did not legalky agree to one. I went for a car was back in April and the person punch in the sale. I didnt realize they selected a membership until now. Tried contacting them and no response. Tried to cancel and no response. On October 22 I authorized a one month membership payment. Beginning on November 22 the company has submitted 8-12 attempts to bill for a monthly membership every day. All charges have been blocked by the credit card company, but the attempts are still being made.Business Response

Take 5 Car Wash does not have any 1 month memberships. All our signage indicates that our memberships are "per month" and our Terms and Conditions are clear that by using the membership you agree to be billed monthly.
We have no record of you attempting to contact the company to resolve this. Also you didn't supply enough information to the BBB on this complaint to locate your account. Our system will attempt to bill for about 21 days before it enters the "Declined" state and ceases to try. You can reply to this complaint with the **** number from your windshield sticker, contact *********************************** with that information, or simply wait for those 21 days to pass.
Our apologies that the renewing membership was not more clear.

Membership was supposed to be canceled in May 2024. It was not canceled, I have been charged $32.17 monthly for the last 6 months . I have sent numerous requests to cancel my membership and requested a refund . So far I did receive a $64 refund but they turned around and charged me $32.17 on Nov 22 ! I am rejecting this response because:
I went in the business in May to cancel my membership. At that time I was told it was done . When I went back to ******* in October I went to the business again to let them know I was still being charged for services I wasn't using . The young lady I spoke to stated the manager would call me as he was on vacation. The girl also stated that " this is happening a lot" the manager would probably give me a refund. I never received a call from the manager, your business is very hard to get in touch with! I also used your chat which was not help whatsoever!The money should nit have come out at anytime after May let alone on the 21st.
I loved using the car wash but unfortunately after this experience and what I've read online I will have to go elsewhere.

In their system it says I have their $22 a month, but I been getting charged $35 a month. I have asked them to refund me the price difference and fix it in there system. I went to the car wash in September, an employee told me if I upgraded to the next wash I would receive 1 month of free washes, nothing was said about a membership nor did I agree to a membership or sign up for one.
