I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Take 5 responded quickly and did their investigating and found they indeed had overcharged us. The reimbursement has been submitted to the credit card that was used for their services. We are pleased that they were prompt and professional. No complaints. Thank you BBB for helping us get this cleared up. Greatly appreciated it.

Got my pickup washed in December and expected to pay $26.00. When I got home, I saw that I'd been charged $40.99 for a monthly membership. Returned to the car wash two days later and was told that they couldn't help me. As advised by an employee, I tried to resolve the issue online to no avail. Their process is maddeningly complicated and puts the consumer through endless dead-end loops. Eventually, I went through my credit card company to get a refund for the difference. Now my current credit card statement shows another charge of $40.99 for a monthly membership. I did not authorize, nor did I want a membership. Once again, I have contacted my credit card company for satisfaction since the car wash company won't help. If need be, I'll close my credit account to prevent future unauthorized charges and may seek damages through small claims court.Business Response

On October 19, 2023, I visited Take 5 Car Wash located at *****************************************. I was assisted by an attendant at the Car Wash location and was told that my payment method was declined TWICE. He then asked if I had an alternative payment method, so I gave him another Debit Card to pay for my wash. Later that day, upon checking my banking app, I noticed that I was charged $25.00 TWO SEPARATE TIMES, as well as being charged another $25.00 on my alternative payment method. I have reached out to both customer service online and also customer service management at the location of the car wash and they are both blaming one another and telling me that I must contact the other department regarding my refund for the $50.00. I have waited for MONTHS for my money to be credited back to my card and it has yet to be done. I need this issue resolved IMMEDIATELY.Business Response

I see. They reactivated the same pass you already had.
I don't show we have anything for $21.99 for military, but I can give you that pricing. However, I'm not sure this is the same wash plan that you had. It might be in your best interest to return to the car wash and have them look into this. They *** have an option I don't on my end.
I think this has to do with the billing site, which is 681. You went to site 680 to have it reactivated. That *** be why it billed at $24.99 again.

My complaint is regarding not being able to contact anyone, call anyone, or anyone at the physical site being able to help me on my issue. I was trying to connect the app that I have to the barcode on my car (which is not available anymore) but was unable to do so. I am now being charged for 2 separate accounts for the same car per month. I want one of the accounts closed and I would like a refund for the charge from yesterday 2/7/24. Sept 30 2023 I bought a $20 monthly membership at Take 5 car wash. I couldnt afford the membership after that month so I asked them to cancel my membership. In which they said they would they being take 5 car wash. Oct 6 2023 take 5 carwash charged my card $***** in which I called their main office to ask them why they did this. They said it was a new month. In which I replied I just bought this membership the 30th of September also informing them that I canceled my membership with thier company also telling them that the membership was for $20. They told me they were sorry and were going to refund me what they charged my card for. Then to my surprise they charged my card again $36.46 the same day. 2 payments in the same day I called again and asked them to explain themselves and refund me $72.92 because in stead of refunding me they charged me again. I never received my refund. Then Oct 28 2023 they charged my card again $***** after waiting for my REFUNDS for **** buisness days as I was promised. So I called them again and asked them with a harder tone this time give me my money back all of it!!). They only refunded me ***** which they STOLE from me that day. Ever since then its now February *********************************** for the membership from September $*****. Ive tried calling *** tried emailing them I went to thier website to cancel membership in which when your done doing the cancellation form it informs you that they will call me soon!?! I did the txt message thing they want you to do no help. CarWash *** Express whom owns Take 5 Car Wash in ***************** ******* I also went to the establishment Take 5 Car Wash in ***************** to voice my complaint to no avail. This is to much and it needs to stop! They changed my account 8x in 5 months with only 1 refund. Ive washed my car once since this whole debacle and I paid for that $16 November 4 2023 so.
