      Can't believe that Jeld Wen sells an exterior metal door with hardware that won't stand up the elements. After two years all hinges and door hardware are rusting. **************** informed me that the hardware is not "marine grade" metal so it will discolor and/or rust so I should have applied a coating when it was installed. They would not offer any assistance with replacement parts. Never purchasing Jelf-Wen products again.....

      I ordered a Jeld-Wen door through ****** in *****, July 23, 2022. In August, they sent the wrong door, we found this out AFTER the installers removed my door, then had to replace my door, while I'm paying them to leave me with the same door I started, minus the installation costs. In October, they sent the second WRONG DOOR. In November, they sent the THIRD wrong door. I called Jeld-Wen directly, and spoke to their "door specialist," who told me to have ****************, ** call him the next day. He stated he would be there, no matter what time they called. The manager at ****** called, and HE WAS NOT AVAILABLE, nor did he return her call. I waited 2 days, and called again, had to leave voice mail, and it has been 4 days, and no response. So, they have my money, SINCE JULY, and I STILL have NO DOOR, plus out installation costs to end up with nothing being changed, except my bank account!

      Everyone one of our held wen windows holds too much condensation& leak . Causing black mold around the wood work of our *************** spots . ***********************, **********************.

      I ordered two windows in May 2022. Since then Jeldwen has given multiple ship dates but continues to miss. **************** has no clue and tells me that they are backed up. Its now been nearly 5 months. Don't buy JW. If they cant produce then dont take the order !!!

      They won't sell replacement glass panels every window I have has glass issues. I called a glass company .. over $ 800 per window to replace glass. I can buy a new complete window.. the same window for just over $ 200 but have to remove siding, trim and Uninstall the window. Ridiculous !! Also nowhere can you find a simple glass size of their windows.

      Case# **A22A71 Ive been waiting almost 3 years for a replacement sliding door. Several missed appointments for various reasons which are all lies or no responses. 1. Covid 2. We dont have the part 3. Labour strike 4. Confirmed the day before and didnt show 5. Dont have the part. 6. Didnt show Im happy to remove the post here and all my social media profiles on all the Jeld-Wen locations worldwide once the issue has been resolved.

      Jeld wen windows are being delivered without screens. They are backordered up to a year or more behind. They are not telling any customers that this is happening to people who order windows. Their excuses seem to indicate they are too big to legally take any responsibility. You get what you pay for in this case it is nothing. Windows without screens went out of style 60 years ago. When you take an order and do not accept any responsibility for a complete delivery it is wrong. I encourage anyone to tell their supplier to not deliver the product unless it comes complete.

      Worst customer service experience overall. I have "110" (not a typo) one hundred and ten jeldwyn windows and doors in my home, recommended by our builder. "15" of those have failed one year out of warranty. That means we are paying to replace. Sashes, square fixed, circular fixed, arched fixed all failed. Communicating with the following customer service representatives has been on ongoing nightmare. ********************** lied and told me her supervisor ************************************* was on vacation. Called right back and my call went thru. ******* was in her office.Supervisor *********************** does not follow up. I'm told she'll call as soon as she gets off another call, 15 minutes at the most. She doesn't respond at all. What is she getting paid to do? Supervising what is the better question? ********************* supervisor of the whole lot. Another non communicator.Requested window putty tape for installations. Never sent and did not respond to inquiry. Mullions on a 24" round were sent broken with uneven cuts and shorter than the required dimensions. I would not recommend this company or their products to anyone. They do not know the meaning of customer service. Not to mention the magnitude of failed windows. You are paying for what you get, poor quality service, poor product and poor quality control. How are they still in business?I don't have the time to waste to continually follow up non returned inquiries. My job is delayed once again and products to compete this job will be farmed out elsewhere.Jeldwen's generic response to written reviews is exactly what they don't do.       This company JELD-WEN OR MMI DOOR is one of the worse I have had to deal with in a very long time. I bought (2) of their doors last fall, after our business had a total loss fire. I bought these doors for the rebuild. They have been properly stored and wrapped for extra protection and now that we are ready to use them, one of the half windows with blinds is full of water. These are exterior doors, and should be able to handle the rain. Not only will this company or companies not stand by their faulty product but to replace just the window unit is more then just buying another door, different manufacturer. DO NOT USE EITHER OF THESE COMPANIES PRODUCTS, THEY DO NOT RESPECT THEIR CUSTOMERS OR FOR THAT MATTER THEIR PRODUCTS. IF I COULD LEAVE A MINUS STAR I WOULD.

      This company has the most unprofessional customer service people, terrible quality control, and consumers should beware. I purchased an exterior 4 panel door that won't slide or lock for a new construction home. Despite being under labor warranty, the company would not send a technician to my home to repair these issues as there is no deck. When I questioned a customer service rep about the fairness of having an expensive exterior sliding door that does not lock nor slide in a new home that is still under construction, he HUNG UP on me. In continuation of trying to solve this issue, I chatted virtually with a service tech. He was great. He immediately determined my door had a manufacturing defect that would involve extensive work such as shaving the door and touching up paint, however since I don't have a deck they deemed it dangerous for a tech to come service it even though still under labor warranty. My labor warranty will run out prior to the deck being built. I wrote an email to the company asking if they would honor the labor warranty once my deck was built since the defect was found prior to it expiring, and they didn't respond - they merely sent an email with shipment notice of parts to be used to repair the door myself. I have no knowledge of how to do such a thing. I bought this door new, and should not be expected to fix a $5000+ door that was not manufactured correctly. I have never written so much as a bad review of a product, but such business practices should be criminal - and I highly discourage people from buying from them.
