      DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, THE WARRANTY IS AS GOOD TOILET PAPER! I purchased a front door and with the first rain the water poured into my home. The company states it's because there is not an overhang on the home, I have had two other doors without any problems.

      Do not order doors from this company.They will give you false delivery dates and keep pushing back your order.They have pushed back my delivery date 5 times now.It's much easier, if they would be honest and tell you we have no clue when the doors will be ready.I have lost 3 months on a project and is at a standstill, until these doors come in. After speaking with a manager of Jeld-Wen, they couldn't care less.They don't care because it's not their time, money or reputation on the line when you're the ****

      Good Day, There is a problem with your supply chain that was aggravated by poor communication between Jeld-Wens local representative and the distributor, Hardware. I approached Home Hardware on June 20, 2024 to order solid core interior doors for a residential house that I am building and I was told by them that the delivery time for the solid doors was several weeks but that they could get hollow core doors in 7-10 days. I ordered the hollow core doors so that I would receive the primed doors while the painter was still on my construction site. Not only did I not receive the doors within the 7-10 day delivery time, but the order was not completely filled. Home Hardware informed me that the Jeld-Wen representative stated that the type of door ordered was discontinued and that there were supply chain issues. The door order was not fully filled until August 1, 2024. This delay has cost me as I have to bring the painter back to the job site. Home Hardware also informed me that they have tried reaching out to the local Jeld-Wen representative who has not returned their requests to discuss this issue. I am not happy with Jeld-Wens poor customer service.

      In the process now trying to resolve an issue. It's been 10 days since I answered a question. It's radio silence. All my doors and windows are from Jeld-Wen. All have their etching right at the bottom yet they cannot find the serial numbers in their database. That would be 4 exterior doors, 2 sets of French doors, and 18 windows. None in their system. First go around, I received the replacement part (for a door that I did not have - a slider). We believe this was an F-you move to get us to leave them alone. I would like to warn buyers to try any company other than this one. Now, I need to spend $3500 to replace a door that should be under warranty.

      Wish there was a place for a negative 10. That is what I would have rated them or lower.Most of the staff is very nice but corporate policies are the worst. I have replaced almost 40 windows from Jeld-Wen in my house. I lived in another home built by another builder and there within 3 years 5 windows had to be replaced. Once I called them on a window that had a 20 year warranty. Their response was we no longer serve those. Not our problem.Worst windows in the world. With that response I will not be installing them in any of my customers houses.

      We purchased new Jeld Wen French patio doors from ********** August 2022 during the pandemic. ********** representative recommended these particular doors. Because of the pandemic our addition to our house was delayed. We received 2 sets of doors. They were wrapped in cellophane. We trusted that the new doors would be good and defect free. When my contractor (20 years + experience) installed them we had trouble right away. The handle and deadbolt would not line up on either door. The one door had oily hand prints between the glass, which I did not realize until another contractor brought to my attention. I thought they were just dirty. The same door had a ding on the back of the aluminum door. The other set would not close properly. Technician said not to use those doors. When we finally opened we saw that the door jamb was split. It was recommended to put longer screws in to make doors more stable. This set of doors was also missing the weather stripping. The doors should have not left the factory. I have also had 2 other contractors look at doors. And all said doors are bad. They are square and level. Technician said he would have door with **** ordered and door frame ordered. Neither Jeld Wen nor ********** will take responsibility for these defective doors. ********** sends me to Jeld Wen and **** versa. Jeld when finally after 5 months changed glass and changed astragal but still cant use the one set of doors that came with the split door jamb. My interior trim around doors has been delayed by 6 month so far. I am appalled with the customer service from ********** and **********************. We have spent thousand at both places and we are not happy with either company for brushing us off and not standing behind their product. The technician also complained about Jeld Wens quality and treatment of their employees. Jeld Wen also sent the wrong parts which caused us further delay. They need to improve quality control and their customer service. *******

      Beware. Do NOT use Jeld Wen windows. We built a beautiful home (8 yrs ago) & chose this manufacturer b/c theyre supposed to be one of the best & have a lifetime warranty. It is NOT true!!! I have been trying to file a claim/case for at least 2 ************* get ahold of anyone. Finally did, after spending 6 hrs inputting all the photos (89 ******** ******* they said this isnt a warranty issue. There is bad mold all around the windows (pics attached) and we have already had them cleaned, scraped & repainted twice. Jeld Wen basically said not our ************** us info on mold ???????. These windows were very expensive ($86,000), remember 89 of them & even with their lifetime warranty & this issue from the 1st month after install they wont & dont stand up for their product. They ignore you for years & then come back with not warranty issue. This is beyond frustrating & a health issue, but Jeld Wen is ignoring it & doing nothing! NEVER BUY JELD WEN!!!!!Please spread the word!!!!!

      Jeldwen sold me a custom ordered window thru Menards. The complaint is that they provided a product that does not operate in the manner in which it was intended. Meaning, the window has been installed over a sink. No one can open the window now that the sink and cabinet have been installed. When I called their customer service they said its meant to open from the top of the bottom window by pushing up on the window but because of the reach distance over the sink you need handles at the bottom of the window. This is the way I have opened all the Jeldwen windows I've bought from them in the past including the one I purchased 13 years age also over the sink. Now apparently Jeldwen has changed designs to save material costs by shrinking amount of framing etc. and in my case the window frame is too small to add handles.This unfortunately makes their window inoperable. Neither my contractor, nor the General Manager at Menards can believe that Jeldwen is unwilling to even attempt to try to find a solution to the problem. My response from ******* Customer Experience Superivsor is sorry we're not doing anything to help you find a solution. So I'm done with Jeldwen. ***** or ******** is who I will to to but never again will I be treated so poorly. This is a $1300 window and Menards to their credit is willing to completely replace the window for free with another brand but Jeldwen won't even discuss a possible solution.

      Our two year old home we purchased new has two *************** sliding glass doors. They leak after every rain storm whether its a light rain or pouring. A Horribly cheap product. Had it confirmed by contractors I called in to replace these awful windows. They are cheap and I wouldnt ever buy from them.
