      ****** ************ ********* My elderly father, my two children and I were heading to attend my uncles funeral and support my aunt and cousins. We were 3 hours away from checking in when I received an email that my 6 day reservation was cancelled. When I called the hotel and was told that they overbooked the rooms. The front desk lady said that she called the 2 nearest sister hotels and they had all overbooked also. What good are reservations if they arent honored. Instead I just got a sorry. Sorry doesnt help me. I have stayed an Extended Stay Americas in this area, but will probably not be staying again. With this company policy I will not be recommendingy in the future.

      EXTREMELY SUBPAR DISAPPOINTMENT AND THEY DON'T CARE!I reached out to Extended Stay America several times; they never even acknowledged me:When I checked in my room was not clean; I had to ask them to bring me cleaning supplies so I could clean when I arrived that evening. (I have date and time stamped photos of drink rings, grime, thick dust, nasty stains on the carpet, etc., that I provided them). The front desk person brought cleaning supplies but told me I had to return them that evening when I was finished using them. I later had to buy my own so I could clean out a couple of the drawers. I even found a wad of chewed gum left on one of the lamps! This is a hotel that uses Biltmore in their name. The next morning when I told the manager (*******), she made me feel like I was a huge annoyance rather than a valued guest. She also told me that I would not get my money back if I checked out even under these circumstances because I had paid for the week a few months earlier. She then demanded that I decide whether I was going to check out, immediately, and informed me that if I did, I had to be out by 11:00 am (within 2 hours - it was 9:00 am). She further informed me that if I were to check out that the price would be revised to higher as I had received a discount for booking the full week in advance. I felt bullied into staying or lose the $few hundred I had already paid. I also told them at that time, and 2 other times, that the bathroom sink didn't work properly, and no one ever came to fix it. I had to brush my teeth, etc., in the kitchen sink. ************ only checked on me one time. I had to go get my own towels, trash bags, toilet paper, and take out my own trash the entire week I was there. Its also advertised as a smoke free establishment yet the stairwells, etc., wreaked of cigarette smoke! Not to mention the plume of marijuana fumes that followed the front desk person out of the office each time he opened that door to approach the front desk.

      The place is run like a halfway house. If you leave the building, you better make sure your key works. The key kept not working. There's no room service, If you need sheets or towels, you have to take the dirty ones to the front desk and stand there while they sort through them before giving you clean new ones. The rooms aren't too bad, though the beds feel old and stiff.I booked the room stating 3 adults and 2 kids, so when my mom went down to get more towels and a new card because they kept deactivating, they should have given them to her no problem but instead they called me yelling at me saying they don't have her ID on file so they can't give her anything or fox her key.They didn't inform us in advance either that the elevator didn't work. They waited until after we checked in to tell us.The door to our room stuck, so in order to get in, it felt like you were breaking in. The bathroom door won't close, and the stove doesn't work. The a/c unit hardly works as well, had it set as low as it could get, and the room is still hot.I would not stay here again. especially with my kids. It doesn't feel safe here. The continental breakfast is a joke. It's literally just coffee and oatmeal with a couple of muffins or breakfast bars.A lot of the reviews have the owner replying saying they issues are taken very seriously and will be addressed, but honestly, it doesn't look like they have been. This "hotel" needs a lot of work done. Starting with the customer service.

      Terrible experience with getting my refund, I been trying to get my refund since May 19, 2023 and still haven't received it and here it is July 10, emails have been sent out to District Manager and Regional Manager and no one has responded, everytime I call they tell me another email will be sent out and I have to wait another 48 business hours for a response, this is the fourth time I have called and it seems to be no concern from anyone....

      Have have been at three different extended stays. The one in ******** ******** not only is it nasty but the hallways stinks very bad. The one in ********/******* ******** they just give your room away without even giving notices I came from out of town had made reservations at the one in ********/******* ******** and when I got to the hotel they stated that my room was no longer available and yes I checked in before 6:00 p.m. and the one that I'm at now that I have to stay at not only was their prices higher but the customer service was ridiculous and the policies for clean towels are ridiculous you literally have to pay a dollar and $1.75 every night to get clean towels will not recommend extended stays to no one at all.

      So we walk into this place and it reeks of cigarettes, weed and stuffiness! So beside all that, I get back from some of the alumni gatherings and find that the toilet got clogged from someone pooping. I went down to ask for a plunger and they gave me one fresh out of another toilet with toilet water run off , in a dollar general bag!! Please, please DONT EVER book another room with out showing me, PLEASE!!!

      I had a terrible experience with extended stay America in ********* ********, I have told the lady on the front desk that I wanted to leave due to an urgent situation it was around 1:00 p.m. the lady said you can leave and there will be no charge to you to that extra time I told the lady thank you very much you are nice went upstairs packed my stuff came downstairs there was another lady she said you have to pay for another night since you are checking out late I told her the lady who was here before you said otherwise he find you that was the case I would have stayed that night and left early in the morning the lady said that's the policy of the hotel. I told them my problem wasn't with the policy of the hotel in my problem was with the previous lady who said that I can check out late and that I will not be charged, I really had to leave because the room was disgusting and had a smell but I didn't tell the lady that I told her that I have urgency situation that I have to leave. This place is terrible and higher unprofessional people that do not care about customers their feelings or there will begin

      complaint has been filed in court. My attorney spoke with corporate . Extended stay is dodging paperwork . The manager and the house keeper has been named in the lawsuit I was told that the manger was getting fired for her negligence. Also I was told that the housekeeper will be fired

      This location has bed bugs. The sad part is after I reported it, I had to wait 2 weeks and only received a partial refund. The manager, **** didnt seem surprised by the bugs. I was bitten for 9 days and didnt realize I was actually being eaten until I woke up with bite marks all over my body. I went to the emergency room and still no apology or settlement. To make matters worse, the establishment continued to rent the rooms side by side without treatment. The entire experience was traumatizing. I am prepared to file with magistrate ***** but I am trying to get them to respond with a decent settlement. The adjuster seems like is avoiding all of my calls. This hotel is disgusting. They need to close it down. This is a serious hazard.

      My son has stayed at this hotel for a few weeks and had no problems with anything until he got into a little bit of trouble witch has nothing to do with my complaint On him being checked out of the motel I went to get his things that had been locked up Upon the day I went to get his stuff the lady said everything was there I said Im just going to look through his stuff and I found that his Apple Watch was not among his items and she said everything was packed up that was in the room I said that watch is a $300 watch and its not here so I ask for how I could file a complaint with and she gave me a number ok I said Then I asked her about the lady that I talked to on the the day before and she had told me my son had checked out and I could come and get his stuff well the she proceeded to tell me personal stuff about him that I feel shouldnt have been told to someone over the phone that she didnt know who they where on the other end But the lady I got his thing from said that if someone is calling about a guest then they fill its ok because its family but she had no idea who I was she just told me about his Business So then I asked about a$50 charge that was made after he had checked out and I was told it was so his stuff could be picked up witch I dont believe that so I feel like the hotel owes me $350 for the watch being stolen and foe the extra money that was charged
